Love the board game-this is our fix when no one else wants to sit down & play with us. Simple, some strategy & lots of fun!!
We love this game and have been playing with the family for months. The new update isnt working for local play. Cant join games. Any tips?
We love the board game so when we dont have anybody to play with this is perfect.

The game board and game app are pretty much the same, and more very addicting. We have both and our family love the app because its faster, more games in before bed!
Our wife and we love the app and the board game. We play Local often and we wish we could just hit rematch after a game, have more control over colors and avatars, and have a way to let the person who joins go first. So far, weve needed to start local games from our Mac instead of our phones/I pass. It would also be good to be able to see destination cards full screen on the phone. Germany cards are hard to read when the destination is another country, Finally the solo game tends to crash at the very end, after the scores are up. So when we restart, it resumes at the last turn. Not fatal but slightly annoying.
We really like this game. It works well. We typically play by myself against the computer. The computers like to go out fast which would be nice if they fixed that aspect of the game but over all it is fun. We also play with friends and family online and it works well. Totally worth the money.
An earlier update created annoying prompt that interrupted play and ruined the game for us. Fortunately, the developers listened and fixed the issue. Thank you.
We’ve never played the actual board game, but the app version is a lot of fun for the family to play together. Thanks for supporting family sharing and keeping it fun after all these years.

This game is so much fun and runs very well on our iPad.
If you like the board game you will like this. The only problem is there are no instructions past the basic game. There are game variations but no tutorials for them. Also a legend that explains what all the icons mean would be nice.
But why there is purchases things that are paid And the app not worth 7$ it should be cheaper.
If youve played the board game this is an easy transfer. Not a ton of strategy but a little. Kind of fun to learn cities in other countries. App works pretty well too.
Whats not to love about being able to play anywhere anytime?
We are happy that we get to play a game without buying it or asking someone to play with me.
If you like the board game you will like this app. Its a 1 to 1 recreation of the board. Its a great way to play with friends and family over distance, and introduce you to the many maps and rule variations this series has. So go train up!
Our whole family loves to play with our ipads.
We own the Europe version of the board game, and we dont usually like to pay for apps, but this game is well worth the money. Its fun to play with friends that you invite, and to play public games as well, with or without people that you know. The online play takes a little getting used to, with the karma and the ranking, but weve played this a bunch. Its a great pandemic game, and even after, its nice to not have to something keeping track of your score :)
The app is very enjoyable. We like playing the game. However when playing online games, the app freezes up after the roster of players fills up. It should automatically take you into game play at that point, but it freezes instead. Requiring you to close the app, re-enter, and resume the game. This means you dont get to pick your routes or play your first turn. The computer does it for you.
Nothing more to it god loves you.
We think theres a bug that crashes the game if we repeatedly tap on the screen for cards.
Decent enough user interface, though the AI is poor.
The game works great overall, but there are some minor UI things that could be resolved. We still cannot select certain combinations of our avatars colors and gender. Certain colors are only available for each gender. At the end of the game, the last place player gets highlighted in gold wouldnt it make more sense for the winner to be highlighted instead?
Its a little a slow because one time we glitched and lost all our points but other than that its the best.
This game is fun but the should include more packs when you buy it.
Excellent move of the board game to digital, allows you to play others around the world. Does sometimes have crashing issues which can be fixed in game by Exit/Force close/Restart app/Resume game. Otherwise do an iOS upgrade. Great game, sometimes clocks do not work, tap on your clock and it will reset. Love the Europe and Asia boards.
We love the board game and we love the iOS version even more. But its very frustrating when the app crashes. Most of the time you cant get back to resume the game you were in, which can be even more frustrating if you are most of the way through the game! Dont count on a response from their support team anytime soon. We submitted a support request two weeks ago and still havent heard from them.
We actually love TTR on the app because the gameplay is so much faster than playing on the board at home. Rating is short a star because the animation speed is constantly resetting itself back to the slowest setting.
SUPER glitchy sometimes. Ill be playing a game and then the whistle blows and then the game freezes.
Great game, we own all the maps. Recently our local multiplayer games have frozen quite a bit. It thinks someone has left and then we they come back, it wont let play continue. IPhone 10 and 1st gen iPad Pro 9.7.
There are some glitches that have made this game annoying. We hope they do some updating to make it better.
Why is it that the bots when playing solo dont even try to win. We just played a game (which happens often) where all the bots needed to finish three routes was a two train of any color and it placed a random two train elsewhere on the board as its last move. Id like a little competition. Very frustrating!!
We have had this game for a very long time and we enjoy playing it. Lately it wont let us play. It opens and before we get a choice of tickets it disappears and we have to start all over again. Until today it would happen only once. Today it happened many times and never would offer tickets. Please fix what ever is causing this.
Im unable to type any messages. Looks like our text color is white on a white background. Im also finding that our number of games isnt rising even when we win games. Otherwise, its enjoyable.
Its ok, but for the price they should give you Europe and France.
This game is fun but incredibly glitchy. It randomly shuts off. It kicks you out mid-game. Trying to play online with other people is terrible! It freezes and the other players start yelling at you. You have to exit the app and come back in to get it to work again. So frustrating. We would like to access the game on other devices but cant figure out how. And we cant find support anywhere.
Just deleted the app and reinstalling. See if this helps. It always crashes in the middle of the solo game. Please fix this!
5 stars for the base game – we got the Pennsylvania extension and it is very buggy and unplayable. Save your money on that one, and we want ours back! Or really what we want is Pennsylvania to work well – its a great twist on the game, just not when it unsyncs in local mode and makes impossible to complete a game.
Im a huge fan of the board games, so we were excited to have this on the go. Online game mode is super fun, solo is great practice. We love that all of the regions are so easily accessible. Reason for 3 stars is the constant glitching happening lately. Theres no update, our phone is up to date. Everything checks out. But this past week 8 out of 10 games glitch, it either doesnt load us in, it runs our time down, takes away turns, etc so game has to be force closed often causing bots to replace and make choices for us players. Just a while again… We clicked join a game, nothing happened. We tried again, nothing happened. 15 minutes later we got a notification that our online game finished?? What?? Please fix!!
We really enjoy this game but am finding the app very frustrating to use. It crashes often without reason, freezes, and will not alert you to your turn even if you are in game (you have to force quit the app to get it to switch to your turn), which, especially in timed multiplayer play, is really frustrating.
This game is really fun and overall works well and has helped us get through COVID. However, it does crash a lot in online play. Our biggest wish is that the Germany map would work with bots. If you add bots it freezes on their turn. Please fix, thank you!! Post ios 14 notifications are broken and don’t work which is a huge issue!
Great game, we find it really addictive! But for an app that you have to pay for, it sure does glitch ALOT. Especially when playing friends online, which is a shame.
We like the original game, especially the fact that all the scoring is done automatically. However, we bought the Pennsylvania add-on, and we dont like it at all. It adds a complication to the game where you have to buy stock shares of railroads. We played it once and will never play it again.
This year the game freezes, disconnects and crashes frequently. This wasnt always a problem but right now its pretty unplayable.
With the new update, the game runs slow. The game speed option will not work.
