This game is really enjoyable. We’ve tried out a lot of Storytaco games, and some were hits, some were misses, and some weresomething else. This one is a hit! It seems Dangerous Fellows is on of their better known games, so Im going to take a minute to compare the two. They have a similar structure for progressing through the game and farming gems (which is especially easy if you turn off ads) is done in a similar way. We personally prefer Time of Death a lot more for a few reasons. – As an adult we prefer having more mature characters to match with (minus Bok, who we will admit is uncomfortably young at 16 when the protagonist is implied to be roughly 20). The cast of DF are all 18 and 17, whereas ToD has characters aged 16, 21, 23, and 27. Not an enormous age range but given the target audience it makes sense. – There is a ToD character who appears early on in this game who looks like she might turn into this games Scarlett (mean girl who hates the MC for no good reason and tries to make her life difficult, and there is never any resolution or even a real reason why she is so hostile). We didnt like how Scarlett was handled in Dangerous Fellows, so we were relieved to see that in this game, they created a character who enters the story playing the Scarlett role, but she turns out to have an entirely different and more sympathetic role in her story. – we liked the MC much more. In DF, we found myself yelling what are you doing?? At our screen multiple times when she impulsively went out and explored alone, and the player has no option to decide against it. One of the most challenging things visual novel creators have to deal with is making the main character go along with the plot without making the player feel that theyre being forced to make choices they dont agree with. But we think good writers are definitely capable of forcing a character into a plot without removing player agency in crucial moments. We wouldnt necessarily say that the characters in ToD are better than those in DF because there are so many differences in the setting and the dynamics between characters that comparing them seems pointless. Each set of characters fits into the setting for each game. Id say that the personalities in ToD are more extreme and diverse, but the setting of DF as Earth, Today means having a more realistic cast make sense. Basically, we think that if you liked one game, youd probably like the other. Another note: this is not one of the studios spicy games. We’ve played a few of them, which range from highly suggestive to fully written s*x scenes. This has nothing like that. You get the opportunity to play two extra scenes with each romanceable character, plus an epilogue for each, but nothing beyond quick kissing has happened in the side stories and while we’ve only played Yeon and Gyeom so far, neither of their endings even concluded with a definite establishment of a relationship. (As someone whos bordering on aromantic, we really appreciated this, though we know some might disagree). While Im at it, our other favorite Storytaco games are Memory Mayhem and Arcana Twilight. MM is the funniest of these games and the characters and story are really engaging, and the main character has way more personality than most. She feels like her own character rather than a stand in for the player, and we really enjoy her for that. (Also, Syd is our favorite guy in any of these games hands down. Give us a guy who cracks jokes and can be arrogant and self deprecating at the same time and has a buddy relationship with the female lead? Yes please.) Arcana Twilight is structured way differently from these other games, but if youve played Obey us, its pretty much identical to that as far as game play mechanics. It also doesnt have any real routes; its more like playing as a character whos now best friends with a bunch of very well written and entertaining characters who happen to be good looking sorcerers. 10/10 would recommend.

We have just started playing a few days ago, but so far we like the game. The story is good, the art looks nice. Im very Inter in where this will go!
We downloaded this app four days ago. We were instantly hooked and we loved yeob and the others. Pros: – easy to get gems. Our first play through we were close to 400 gems but accidentally spend some at late game. – story is a little different than most otome games. – MC has an avatar. This is a personal for us, we love seeing mc interact with the world around her, rather than being a self insert. – no wait time! You can binge read the story. No cool down or nothing there is a drawback to this. Cons: – Ads, Ads and more ads. Even though the ads did not bother us as much. It might bother others, this game has a lot of ads. – gem offers one thing we hate more than ads is offers. – flavor text locked behind paywall. Usually in these games, mc is overwhelmed by the love interests and some spicy interactions are behind paywalls. – Looking for a otome game? This isnt the game for you. While there is obvious hints that the LIs are into you, all expect one treats you like a friend. If you want something more you have to pay for the attention – gem prices are rather expensive for the little amount you can get. – free players locked to one route. The game has a ton of endings and it requires you to be close to the one of the LIs. If you binge read the story and dont pay for romance interactions, mc will get the bad ending . – grindfest, repetitive story and hidden cool down. If you are a free player and want a different ending, you will have to grind for it. Give gifts to the LIs you like and wait 24 hours till you can gift them again. Replaying the story with limited choices had killed it for us. – story and chapters are short. We wish they were longer and a season 2. Alot of things in this story went unanswered for us. – translation needs more work. Sometimes we were confused on what mc or one of the LIs (especially yeob) was saying.
We personally cannot believe how good the story was, honestly. Its a great game. The characters are lovable, the action is thrilling, our only issue is how high the pricing is. It got to a point where we had to pay to get the ending where we could further the story with one of the characters. The prologue itself is pricey, outfits and certain lines. And we cant get invested enough to earn only one of the in-game currency every day, not when the lines cost 100, and the outfits 450. We would honestly buy some if, again, the pricing wasnt so high. Again, we loved the prologue, we just cant see myself paying high prices to get the good ending needed.
We’ve been craving these types of games and came across this one, and oh our god it is extremely good the plot, characters and graphics/art style is phenomenal!!! Must download <33.
We love the story and wish we could have gotten past the crappy app, but unfortunately we will have to uninstall without finishing the story. The in game store charged us 3 times for something we only got once, and support wont assist us in giving us more gems, so we’ve got to jump through hoops to chase down our money that the app ate. Its all too easy to accidentally spend gems on in game items unintentionally or to spend more real money than you intended to Its not worth the heartache. Wish we could have gave the game a better chance, but we wont be playing any more games from this developer for fear that our money will conveniently disappear again. :(
We were looking for a game that gave us similar vibes as Kindom, and this is probably the closest Ill get. Fun games once you remove the ads, but its annoying that its very difficult to obtain outfits without paying, and if you dont its so hard to get the good endings.
We really love how easy it is to get gems especially since some choices cost 100 gems but so far the plot has been really good and its not to difficult to understand Im enjoying the game usually we end up deleting games shortly after downloading because they just arent interesting but we really love this one!!

This is the first otome we have ever paid money for and rightfully so. We are not a big fan of the genre but this one is different. The story drew us in immediately with its thrilling suspense and a very fun and likable heroine. The male leads all have very distinct personalities and so much of their dialogue is funny not cringy and over serious. The game is not greedy for money either, and always trying to get you to pay 100s of dollars for side stories like Midnight Cinderella etc. The artwork is beautiful too. Wonderful game.
We just with things werent completely reset when doing endings, but it makes sense & Im glad things carry over to the next playthrough!

We downloaded the game because we got told it was good but whenever we did all the downloading that It needed to allow us to play the game to read the books and it kind of upset us a little bit because we were looking forward to it end it just wont open up and let us start the whole thing.

We loved the first story line. Ending was disappointing, but surprising, so it evened out our sadness. The art is cute, and the avatar is simple, but cute. What killed us was the repetition. Having to repeat the exact same story for each character is mind numbing. There are only four characters; could we have four different story plots? If you cant give that, could there at least be an option to skip the main story snd just cut to the different character endings? This is the fastest we’ve ever been bored by an app.

When we first downloaded it, it was before the recent update, it wouldnt let us into the game. It showed touch effects but thats it. Even after this update we still cant get into the game. We were and still am very excited to play this game so hopefully you can fix it!

We’ve been trying to get into the game but it wont let us progress further than the title screen! We can tap and the little effect will come up so we know its not frozen but we cant actually get into the game. We really wanna play it so please try to fix this bug!
We really love all of the companies games just like this one and we never had any problem with the game but While reading the chapters it sometimes becomes glitchy and the full sentence of when the characters are speaking doesnt load, thats the only problem we have and we hope the problem gets solved. But for the whole game its awesome!!!
We love this game so much the editing is amazing.
The game is amazing. Storyline is engaging, the characters are interesting (including Paul and lily personally would love to see another female love interest like in Havenless), the art is beautiful. With all that being said we cant figure out how to unlock the hidden ending. Usually its unlocked when you finish all the others endings, but we have gotten all the other endings, including the normal one and yet the hidden ending is still locked. Some tips or hints would be appreciated.
We just started the game and received 70 coins from watching an ad as a bonus, the storyline has us hooked but heres the thing why are some choices so expensive? Theyre at least 100 gems! But its okay the gems are worth it. Also the character Paul is a handsome man. All gems are worth it for him even if hes not one of the love interest yet.
