Find out what gamers are saying about Timmy’s Kindergarten Adventure – Fun Math, Sight Words and Educational Games for Kids:

This is one of the best games on the App Store. Ok, maybe Im over exaggerating a little, but this game was perfect for our 4 year old brain. The games are fun. The soundtrack is an absolute bop. The math repeats itself. Its just all great.

Timmy’s Kindergarten Adventure is fun!!! We got every toy in the shop with a leftover of 2K Coinsn.

This program had our son answer 3 questions then do one activity for $1.99. Definitely not worth the money. Everything else was locked. When trying to count the piggy bank change, the program just crashes.

Our kids just randomly guess to get to the fun games. There’s some fun creative activities, but not much learning.

Im sorry to say that this app is not worth a single cent for the full version. It gives one math problem and two sight words then onto the same 7 choices at the school house. Our 5 year old has no interest. If we could, we would get our money back and delete it completely.

Cannot control the motorcycle on the raceway and cannot unlock next level without winning the race. Useless!!

This is a pretty good app. The people that rate it low only used it for maybe ONE MINUTE and then said it was too easy. It obviously starts you out easy and then gets harder as it goes on, so if you don’t play for a few hours or so it will still be fairly easy. Our little girl LOVES this app!! The coins encourage her to keep on playing and do her best. If you are planning on getting this game, and know someone who is 5 or 6, DEFINITELY get it. It is worth it.

This would be an awesome game if it different levels. Our daughter plays it daily, but it’s repetitive.

Our boy likes it, there just isn’t enough challenge. Wish there where stages. Where it gradually gets a little harder. It’s just the same thing over and over.

Although this app covers many concepts from the kindergarten classroom, the concepts are not expanded upon to allow students the opportunity to develop their understanding of math and reading. The difficulty does not change while going through the activities which makes the game extremely repetitive and does not push students’ thinking. Furthermore, the music and sound effects in the app are repetitive and cannot be turned off unless the sound on the iPad is turned off. The music and sounds may distract students from the math and reading activities. The app also does not consistently give explanations to help students understand why their answers are correct or incorrect. Therefore, students may not understand why their answers are correct or incorrect and continue using the app without an understanding of the concepts presented. Students could also randomly select answers without understanding their meaning. Students may be able to learn the math concepts presented better through the use of manipulatives because they would actually be able to move the objects on their own to see their purpose. Overall, we would not recommend this app for use in the classroom.

LOL KIDS DONT WANNA WASTE TIME ON SCHOOL THEY WANT FREEDOM FROM SCHOOL THEY RATHER PLAY!!!

The appalled a few questions. Then there were just games to unlock and we couldn’t get back to the learning part!

Horrible app. There is no build up of skills. The second question was telling time, which isn’t even introduced until first grade… Waste of money.

Our four year old and six year old have really gotten into this game just recently. The app is very well done, with a ton of content. There is a wide variety of skills that are practiced throughout. We think the most clever is the lessons on money and saving. Great app and we highly recommend it.

Nobody has ever loved an app more than our 4-year-old loves this app. She would play it all the time, if we let her. She’s not lost any enthusiasm for it over time. We are thrilled because she really is learning and practicing important skills. She has made tremendous progress recently and we credit this app. At first, we helped her with some of the exercises by guiding her, for example, "Which of those words could be the word they’re asking you to find? ‘Bird’ starts with a ‘B’ sound, do any of those words start with the letter ‘B’?" Now she does that on her own. She’s 4, and she’s sounding out words. We imagine she’ll be full-on reading in a few months. At first we thought the app was too simple, too limited in content, too repetitive — but apparently not. Our 4-year-old has made tremendous progress with this simple app. We couldn’t be more pleased. She prefers this over a website that we’re paying $7.99/month for, so honestly, this one-time-purchase of $1.99 is the best deal ever.

Our kids love this game. One little problem or it would be a 5 star. Our daughter started playing with a boy avatar because she didn’t realize you could change it. Now she’s started a girl file, but she wants to delete the boy file. However, when we hit delete file, it asks "what is 9×6?" Problem is, it has no way to input the answer. The keyboard doesn’t come up, and there’s no button to bring it up. If you hit delete again, it just brings up the question again. We’re playing on an iPad 2 with latest iOS. Fix this and it would be a 5.

We bought this game when our son turned 3. We play the games together, it’s fun to have an educational game to play anywhere. We both love the reward incentive, and we think the game set up makes it fun and easy to understand. Our son has unlocked all the at school activities, and is excited to answer more questions to earn better rewards. This ap is more than worth it for pre-k kids. Our son is going on 5 now and we’re sorry to say the game still has problems. The sound and streaming of the levels of the game sometimes over lap; which is a big bummer it’s almost the perfect game.

While this app does have some fun elements, it is repetitive and boring after awhile. Also, though you can theoretically set difficulty levels for players, there’s nothing to stop a child from simply creating another player who starts at the easiest setting. We found about eight players created, with names ranging from Timmy to Tommy to three of our youngest son to one called we Hate You Tommy (there’s apparently a backstory that’s hilarious). Further, as another reviewer said, you can’t actually delete any players. Really? After all this time they can’t fix a simple programming bug? Add to that the fact that there is nowhere to change difficulty settings for a player already in progress and you’ll agree that there are no reasons to purchase this app; we wish we could get our money back.

Our kids 5 and 7 loves it, they love the rewards and always want to play more. Thanks a bunch !!! Do u have something for first graders???

This app is junk. Do not waste any money on it. It crashes every five minutes. Asks the same 3 questions over and over. Wouldn’t even keep it if it were free.

We would have given five stars bc our daughter loves this app, but the first day she played on it, the sound quit working and you can’t play correctly if you can’t hear the words the computer calls out. There’s even an option in the settings screen for if the sound isn’t working but if you click on it, nothing happens. Very disappointed!

We are a teacher who tutors after school. We were impressed with the free version so we actually purchased the full version. We are so disappointed that it seems to be the same thing over and over. The programs you unlock are not challenging enough. Don’t waste your money.

Not worth the money!!! Our daughter was only allowed to answer 4 questions a day. She is unable to play more until tomorrow. We would love a full refund!!!

So many cool games to play on Timmy’s adventure. Our kids turn this game on all the time. They love the coloring palette with color mixing. Very creative app and well worth the money! Plus the updates keep adding new mini games. Our kids love this.

Great app for kindergarteners. Our preschooler likes it too! We do have the preschool one as well but that one you can’t be a girl. Overall a great learning experience for kids!

Our kids love this! We like the nice variety of rewards. Good job on this app.

Our 34 month old son took to this app right away. It feels like a kid’s first RPG… But it perfectly blends education with fun. It moves like a side-scrolling adventure game, and kids encounter obstacles along the way that can only be traversed by answering a question. The child gets coins at the end of the level (which they slide into their piggy banks,) and eventually makes it to school, where he or she can choose different games to play (they unlock more choices as they advance in play.) And these games are FUN. We admit, when we were trying out the app myself, we spent a good amount of time playing a few. But we digress… After collecting coins, they are able to "purchase" fun items to put on their bookshelf in the game, and interact with. Our son loved feeding the fish in his goldfish bowl. The pacing is perfect, and the reward system creates a greater drive to play, and therefore, learn. It’s kind of a genius app. Highly recommended for ages 3-7.

We purchased the game for our granddaughter and created a new character but it doesn’t show up the very next time we use it :(

We are ticked. We paid for this app and now with the update we’re getting advertisements. Why should our 2 year old son have to navigate through crummy advertisements when we paid so we wouldn’t have that. We will change our review to a 5 when we no longer see adds.

Our newly adopted 6 years old daughter loves this game. She learned some English at school. The games reinforce what she learned. She loves making points and buying things with the prices she earned.

Kindergartners favorite game, seems a little repetitive to us but our son loves the rewards and that he can earn prizes at the store, this is one they play regurarly.

We have downloaded many many apps and this is the best one yet! Our 5 Year old loves this and is learning to tell time and do math while having fun. More more more please! We wrote a great review but now it seems that all the things our daughter buys with her coins disappear once she closes the game. Please fix this she is so upset that all her toys she bought are gone!

Great game, our 4 year old can’t get enough. Thanks for continually adding new items to the ‘store’ as it is a major driver for him!

Our 4 year old loves this app! Fun with learning!! Great App!

We love this game! Something new every day and it helps reinforce what our kindergartner knows and teaches him new things also!! Great app.

Game is fun but could be more motivational. The TeachMe series is really great and motivational.

Great Educational game that our kids enjoy very much. The unfortunate problem is that the game will no longer load and all progress has been lost.

Our son got all of the rooms unlocked, had several coins and prizes and the game shut down. When he went back into the game, he had to start completely over, very discouraging for a little one. Fix this please!!

We originally bought Timmy’s Preschool Adventure for our then 2 year-old son and he loved it. When we saw Timmy’s Kindergarten Adventure, we knew our son would love that one just as much. Our son is now 3 1/2 and he plays Timmy every day. It has been very helpful in reinforcing concepts we are teaching him. We highly recommend this app!

Our son is in Kindergarten. He loves this game. However, after the first day, he had purchased everything in the store. Hoping more is to come!! The telling time part is too hard for kindergarten level children. Overall, this is our son’s favorite game , just hope to get more before he gets bored.

Our preschooler loves this game and is picking up words so quickly. He doesn’t realize he is learning!

This has been a fun way for our 5 year old to learn his sight words when other forms of learning bored him in n time. Thanks.

We like the multi-user option. Wish you could return to home during use. You have to finish level to get back to home page. Good practice and kids 5-8 like it.

Music is bad, we suggest letting parents to record their own voice for words and etc. Otherwise it is a good app.

Our daughter has loved every game we’ve tried from Tantrum. This one has wonderful music.a.
