Three survivors find themselves shipwrecked and lost, not by choice, on what is believed to be a deserted tropical island. As they start exploring and discovering the island, they discover great treasures, resources and items that they need to gather, craft or harvest to protect themselves against the unfamiliar environment and the dangerous episodes awaiting them.
As you progress and craft the needed tools, you slowly uncover the map and the treasures of the island. There is plenty of wit and humor in the narrative, where you have to make the correct choices to progress through the story.

We love the garden mini game so much.
This was already hands down our favorite iPhone game of all time but then although through a purchase we unlocked Gem Mining!!! Im already more then happy to make purchases in this game the content speaks for itself, so anyway we can help to keep it going Im down. But to have an even easier way to get gems like thank you guyz so much please keep making more content we love it. (Disclaimer we dont know if a certain amount of purchase unlocked the option for us and that to was a purchase but it was like $3 so worth it for us and Ive had the game for years making purchases here and there so def always support your favorite games and God willing they show some love Tinker Island does for sure).
Just started our playthrough, got to the part where they introduce the minigame and it wont even let us drag the seed to the board. Tried closing and reopening the game, tried it while there were survivors at camp and while there were none, even reinstalled the game, still doesnt work. The rest is awesome of course :) just hoping the devs see this and fix it.
We havent played or seen this game since we were a kid and it brings back so much for us and we cant wait to play this game again and the next game too! We hope the developers see this and have an amazing day.
We love the mysteries of this game.
We absolutely love this game, we love the art style, we love the story and we love the style of play. The only things we would change about it are the wait timers and the wait for resources in labor sites. The long wait timers start to make the game playable for only short bursts as once all your survivors are busy, all you can do is play the tinker garden or play a different app. We think an addition mini-game would help to pass the time! Have also noticed a bug in the game where if your phone dies, you get zero resources when you log back in, regardless of how long you have been away from the game with your survivors working in their labor sites. Side note: we loved the fishing version of the tinker garden mini game that you have to play to unlock Otto. We thought it was very well done.
We never write reviews. We played this game years ago and never had as many ads show up as we do now. Literally every second or third action we do theres a 30-45 second add that also has a wait delay of 15-30 seconds. This is just too much to keep us actively playing. Theres no point in playing when its mostly ads.

We played this game years ago and recently decided to revisit it, since we knew we saved via Facebook we just linked it again and it worked for a while. But when we unlocked the flag building it crashed. We uninstalled and tried again and it crashes. This is across all devices, including non iOS devices. Its a shame since we were super far and had a lot of survivors unlocked. We refuse to play through it again as we have already done so and spent money on the game.
Neat interface, lots of content. We paid to remove interstitial ads. Unfortunately, the game is still virtually unenjoyable without looking up solutions to the text adventure problems and knowing your options. The app is also littered with glitches. Here are a couple that Id like to see fixed: -Display error in build menu where your special parts are not visible. -Error in build menu where you will be randomly taken to a different section of the menu; can lead to mis-taps if it happens right before youre about to build something. -Error in exploration interface where you will be randomly taken to another area without selecting it. Similar to the above issue in the build menu. Can also lead to misallocation of survivors if you dont catch it. There are more, of course. Id really like the development team to fix these if theyre going to keep earning revenue off of the app through IAP and advertising.
Great game to play. Great explanation of how to play. So far no glitches or anything. Interesting storyline that keeps you interested.
The game itself is a nice idle game. The problem is the constant ad triggers. If you play the game, there is an ad for every third or fourth action. If you open the game, there are constant ads. If you think of the game in passing while going about your day, an ad triggers. If the game is on your phone and you happen to glimpse your phone out of the corner of your eye, an ad triggers.
We had this game a few years ago and enjoyed it a lot, so we thought we'd redownload it and play again . . . But it's absolutely ruined by constant intrusive ads that interrupt gameplay and waste the short timed boosts to production and speed. We can't go two rounds of exploration without getting an ad that we have to click the X on three or four times before it actually closes instead of changing to a different part of the ad. It's infuriating.
We played this game a long time ago, and we loved it. We recently just remembered and decided to play it again. Upon opening the app, we noticed a fatal flaw. The deadzones for the app were not set up in a way where the UI is fully visible on an iPhone 13. The notch at the tip of the screen covers the location halfway, and the materials at the button of the screen are cut off a little by the iPhones curves. Could you please please fix this? We would make it five stars if you do.

Would be only an OK game if there werent SO MANY ADDS!!!!!!! Ridiculous.
Core gameplay is still unbeatable but there are ads every 2 minutes. Never used to be like this, the only times there were ads before was when you CHOSE to watch one to get a reward, but even then you were being ripped off. The rewards you would get probably werent even worth $0.05. Youd think with the amount of money theyre making form the ad you watched, they could give you a halfway descent reward, especially when its a digital currency that has no real value, they only press a button and you have it, but we digress. You dont need a constant flow of revenue, especially for a game you never do anything with. We wouldnt mind the revenue if you were frequently working on the game, giving it massive updates, and well you know ACTUALLY EARNING the money. Spamming ads every 2 minutes is lazy and pathetic. You want more money? EARN IT! Its amazing how much greediness ruins people. Thanks for wasting our time.
About every three minutes, and theyre not optional. Among the worst Ive ever seen in a game.
Update: Dropping our review even more. Later on in the game you have to ours the reef and haberdashery points hundreds and hundreds of times to earn materials to improve your village, and the game punishes you by making you wait for a false talking dialogue, click twice, AND open a chest. For the love of god, remove the dialogue after the first time you ours these point, its AGGRESSIVELY user-unfriendly Original: Tinker Island was a beautiful gem of a game, and stands easily as our favorite idler of all time. Sadly, they must have hired a new monetization consultant, because the newest update trashes a wonderful pixelated interface with massive 'buy with gems' buttons on almost every element in the game. We happily and willingly bought the DLC packs, but your gems are over priced and utterly useless in the late game. Now, you can't even see what the buildings you're trying to build DO, because you have to click away from a huge abrasive 'buy with gems' button to get to the description. A huge step backwards for the first mobile idler that motivated us to spend a pretty good amount of money on it because we were getting a benefit. Sad.
Remember playing the game years ago, it was amazing. Downloaded it again for nostalgia and it forces an ad every minute, the hec.
Do you like nonstop ads? This is the game for you. You do literally anything and get an ad right after doing it. Repeatedly. Ads after every little task. This is literally an app for watching ads and sometimes you get inconvenienced into doing something on the game that takes 5 seconds, then guess what, more 30 sec ads.
The pace of of this game is great and the story line so far is super interesting if your looking for a fun game to play with not to many ads this is a great pick super underrated in our opinion.

This game is pretty fun but most games that have people that watch ads and pay money to progress faster dont also give you ads while your in game. Also theres a glitch with the ads for speed up where u have to watch 2 ads bc the first one doesnt work.
Things take a little long to complete. Fights are way too difficult. We have to wait for team to heal 2-4 times to finish a single battle and there are no more upgrades for fight strength. And when we try to watch videos to quickly heal them, it constantly goes to Revolt page which there is no way out of and we never get the ad watch reward.
We used to play this game a couple years ago and loved it. Very fun and interesting storyline, cool missions, and we love the garden mini game. Its a great way to spend time, especially while youre waiting for your survivors to finish a mission or harvest materials. However, the game has a few issues. For one, the loading screen frequently freezes, and sometimes we cant even get into the game. You are also constantly bombarded with ads. In the past, you used to be able to choose to watch ads in order for a little prize or temporary power up. Now, ads constantly appear just while youre doing the standard gameplay. It gets highly frustrating, especially as you cant skip them and they pop up ALL the time. All these ads have made us want to delete the app theyre so annoying. Another issue for us is that once you reach level 170 in the garden mini game, its virtually impossible. Ive tried to beat it countless times but theres basically no way. Very disappointing bc we loved that mini game and now we cant even play it. Overall a solid game but desperately needs some tweaks.
The game is great we love them story, and its a good way to spend some down time on something fun. The only problem we have is when your characters die. If you have spent gems to speed everything up it does not apply to there revive cycles which we feel it should. You would still have to watch a video or wait however long, but it would be within the time frame you had and you wouldnt constantly be watching 3-4 videos all the time.
The ads take away the game play experience. It would definitely be a 5 if not for that.
The game itself isnt bad but we left for like 2 days came back and im missing half our survivors and no idea what happened to them.

There are so many ads in this game! Ive only just started playing and already have been forced to watch 3 ads. We used to have this game years ago and remember loving it, but now its unplayable from being bombarded with ad after ad.
Honestly its so actually vile how they put multiple 30 second ads in between gameplay. Makes the game unplayable. Not only is it an visual ad, then theres an interactive one right after and then a screen where you just the app and a download button. Developers are shameless and even though its a good game the amount of ads makes it unplayable.
We first played this game a few years ago, and liked it a lot back then. Most of the 5* reviews were probably from that time. The game would still be 5 stars if they could let you go 60 seconds without shoving a full-length unskippable ad in your face, on top of the multiple other systems that make you watch ads.
Send the villagers to do a task > AD. Click the Free option (because you told us to) > AD. Progress through the story choices > AD. Try to exit out of the Ad when you can? Good luck hitting the wrong spot/location because your getting a pop up for an App download. What happened to the Tinker Island we remembered from a couple years ago? We would gladly support the Devs with an IAP to bypass all Ads. Heck, we even supported them purposefully with the speed up option(?) by watching an Ad a couple years ago. Now your forced into Ads no matter what. UNINSTALLED.
This is a great game and we can definitely tell from the last time we played that they addressed some unplayable issues. We were so happy when we saw you could pay now to get rid of ads between sending your tribe members to work. Thank you again for adding a way to eliminate pop up ads. This is definitely one of our favorite games ever on the App Store! Been playing for years on and off.
Loved this game and played a lot years ago, thought Id redownload and enjoy it some more and possibly beat it! Nope, starting all over :/ cant restore our purchases neither. Not sure if Im up to starting over, otherwise, great game.
We got this game because we wanted something low-maintenance (looking at YOU, Axolochi and Talking Tom) that we could check in on, tap or move some stuff in, and then pop out to go back into our computer or do whatever it was we were doing. And it was that, at first move these guys here, move those other guys there, and spam skip once the wait time got down to 20 seconds from 30 seconds. And then they came: the nonstop advertisements. Wanna dare to idle on the main app page for a second too long? Advertisement time! Wanna play the Tinker Garden minigame that youre rigged to lose once you get to Level 12? Have an advert after you lose so you can feel EXTRA frustrated! Want the ASTOUNDING BOUNTY of 2 Gems or 7 Food from a package thats always on the left side of the coast? Were going to make you read random articles about heart failure for 10 seconds 4 times (total of 40 seconds) that DONT EVEN LOAD IN PROPERLY. Even if we turn off our cellular and Wi-Fi when we open the app, if we make the mistake of leaving our cellular on when we INITIALLY open it (meaning we turn off the cellular after realizing its on due to an ad playing), it seems that the app STILL LOADS IN ADVERTS SOMEHOW. So the 30 seconds we used to spend popping in, re-assigning our survivors, and exiting the app is now a minute of hey, lets read this random article you dont care about!. And heres the other thing: we wouldnt care about the unabashed, belligerent consumerism of this company IF THE ADS THEY ALLOWED DIDNT HAVE FAKE EXITS. Thats right, they give you a skip button around 5 seconds into some of the 30 second adverts BUT WHEN YOU CLICK ON IT THE FIRST TIME, IT TAKES YOU TO THE APP STORE TO DOWNLOAD WHATEVER GARBAGE THEYRE PEDDLING INSTEAD OF SKIPPING. If youre lucky, the second tap of the skip button takes you to the second stage of please buy our pay to win app…but to further torture you, they add an X that you can probably only hit properly the first time with your pinkie finger. You know why? BECAUSE THEY MAKE THE EXIT BUTTON AS SMALL AS A PEARLIZED BALL HEAD PINS BALL. Words cannot describe how much we want to smash our phone into our bedroom ceiling when we realize Ill once again have to play tug of war with AN ADVERTISEMENT EXIT BUTTON. Other than the ads, the game is high quality but the difficulty curve between the tutorial phase of everything and actually getting into the game is not attractive at all…and as someone who despises consumerism, we recognize it for what it is: a lowbrow sucker punch to make gullible children who download your app go Aw shucks, the waiting times got so long all of a sudden! Mommy, can we have your credit card really quickly?. Theres also the fact that the 1 Gem flying dinosaurs come so infrequently that youre often stuck in the middle of an ad when you hear that disgusting flapping noise, how easy it is to ignore the resource cards you have (which led to us developing a severe enough food shortage that we couldnt explore a location that needed 50 food to initially discover), the lack of survivors in the beginning of the game that makes things like the fishing post/logging station/stone area by the waterfall seem like a waste of time, the aforementioned rigged gardening game being WAY too complex for its own good, the game offering you buildings you cant make because you have NO ACCESS WHATSOEVER to the materials you need to make it yet…and the journalist encounter where she takes any attempt to cheer her up as a personal attack unless you make her a tool. We hate the journalist survivor for that, and we hate Adam for spending 6 hours to take a pill only for him to be absolutely USELESS in every way except for exploring areas. Im probably going to uninstall soon. High quality graphics can only hold you afloat for so long.
Its a dope game fr. Theres tons of ads tho but you can get rid of those if you buy something tho.
This game is fun. If there werent so many ads even better. Our issue is we dont want to connect our Facebook account to them, they kept on asking and asking so we finally replied NEVER so they can stop. Their response was like: since you said never, we will block of this location, to get it back you have to connect and invite 3 friends and have them accept and play to get it back. What is this? We didnt play to get locked out.
Im trying to play on an iPhone 11 pro running iOS 14.4.2 and most of the time the game freezes at the loading screen. Really want to get back into this game.
Fun game but too many ads. Even if you buy IAP there are still lots of ads.
Ok ik devs need ad rev but they should make it optional and not start one every minute. It should be watch ad for a reward, but the ones that pop up every minute gives absolute no gain. Yes ik u can pay for no ads but every game has it and it needs to stop. Thanks for reading our rant devs.
This game has so many ads, many of which arent appropriate for kids. Sensual and sexual game ads that cannot be skipped or filtered. This game is a no-go for our household because of this.
Every action seems to open an advertisement. Non-skipable ads that last 30+sec. Not worth it no matter how good the app is.
REMOVE THE SCATTER SLOTS ADDS AND SCATTER GET EM OR THAT POCKER THING! THOSE ARE +18! THE GIVE ME CHILLS.
Click on a character… AD, click on the menu… AD, move a character… AD, click on and ad… 2 ADS, click on another ad… $15 monthly bill to your phone carrier :/ games also very limited in its play.
It has a storyline and is a great game to pass the time, we like the decision making and accessories you can add as well to the characters.
Ive downloaded this once before, maybe three years ago or so, and it was our favourite game for a long time. It was a little dependent on gems and patience. Back then we lacked the latter, but since downloading it again for ol times sake, Ive taken great notice to the changes! Its not as dependent on gems as we remember it being, and even if it is, its much easier to collect them now. The stories have more of a puzzle feel, making you think intuitively about the game, and there are ways to decrease time needed for tasks, but also a great way to pass the time waiting. Otherwise its just a matter of patience. We would absolutely recommend playing this game, should you have a lot of time to spend on your phone, or only a little. Big thanks to the developers for making this game even better than we thought it already was. Keep up the great work.
We have been trying to find an addictive game that isnt an obligation daily. Busy life but we are a gamer at heart. Still first week but so far so good, highly recommended and more than we expected.
