The game is vary fun to play but it literally took us 20 minutes to beat but its still totally worth a dollar.

Tried to pause it, but now we got stuck so its acting like a baby or so glitchy. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We bought the game because we loved the other Jussi games, but we found out this game is not and it is much worse. Several glitches with the menu and sometimes the touch controls are buggy. Not worth in our opinion.

Great app love the content. We will agree that it is a bit short, but we can recognize the talent and effort put into this! Keep up the good work!

This game will take you about 1-3 hours maximum to finish, but the game is extremely high quality with superb level design and engaging gameplay! There isnt really a single low point in our opinion! Sure, its 99 cents, but what else would you spend 99 cents on? A candy bar? Thats not a very demanding price. Game developers have bills to pay too and they made a really great game. Sure, there are other phone games that provide more content for free… But… Its 99 cents… Thats NOTHING! We have a few problems though. This is a bit petty, but the title is a bit misleading. Its called Tiny Dangerous Dungeons; its plural even though theres one dungeon… Also, we wish there was more content, this games concept and gameplay are so great and its definitely fine just the way it is, we just wished they expanded upon it a little more to make something really special! But at the very least, this game is proof that these game designers have talent and hopefully this game is just a test before these designers really get there feet wet with a much more ambitious game. Even if they arent interested in making a much bigger game, we will still look forward to whatever high quality game they have next! :)

Best $1 youll spend all year.

Its a great game!!!! The retro style really puts a feel and its a good game to play to pass the time. This isnt an amazing idea or anything but maybe you should make it for Apple Watch. You could use the crown as a forward backward and the side button as jump. Hard press or swipe up would be menu. Its just an idea but maybe it could work!!!

We really enjoyed this game. Fun retro platformer that isnt too difficult (but also isnt too easy). Only downsides are 1. The game is pretty short (think 1-2 hours) and 2. The controls are tough if you have big fingers (small buttons and you cant move or resize them). But still a solid and worthwhile game!

We love this game, it is the perfect thing to play in a waiting room (when we forget to put our gameboy back in our purse), car ride or just at home relaxing. It has obviously been programed with love by a true retro geek! The only thing it lacks is controller support. Now that apple added support for xbox controllers we have been gaming with our phone clipped to a controller. We have also started to see the iPhone as a bona fide handheld gaming device. As much as we love this game, we hate touch controllers. So we have not played this game as much as we want and the Time playing is marred by bad controls. Please we beg of you!!!! Add controller support!! It cant be gameboy inspired without a D-pad!!

Its was cool, easy, nice to play but it only took us about 1-2 hours (not even) to complete. Very fun and of course retro but there should be more than just one dungeon you have to wonder through.. At least three of them would have been nice with each boss better tougher and tougher to battle, with new skills, enemies, and making each dungeon harder to compete. Love the concept of the game just wish there was more to it. Keep up the good work.

This game is very short, but it’s a well made game that understands what makes a MV work.

Was it fun? Hell Yea Worth the prize? Maybe Regret? Not Really.

We love this game! We come to this game whenever we have no signal but we feel like we need to keep our older phone just to play this classic.

Used to love this game on our old phone, was a big fan of the dangerous dungeons series. But recently we decided to play it again on our newest phone, and it doesnt even open, crashes at every attempt. Wish we could play this game.

The game used to lag but the new update completely fixes it! Also, could you add a second entire dungeon or make tiny guns for iOS? Thanks, great game, our friend and we do speed running competitions a lot with this. We would recommend.

Very short Metroidvania, but for $1, youll get plenty out of it. It shows what can be done with iPhone as a platform, and we wish there was more. Dont regret our purchase at all.

This game won’t last you all that long unless you become addicted to trying to speed through it, but we found it rewarding and enjoyable. And it has a few secret rooms, and a good difficulty curve (with a couple legitimately hard parts).

It’s very short but it’s worth buying. We beat it in under 2 hours but some of the best hours ever please give it a try. It’s fun. Final boss not worth it though pls fix and no "NEW GAME" button so no replays Love game pls it’s worth it.

We’re always looking for games that remind us of Zelda, as we are a huge LoZ fan, but rarely do we see anything as close to home as Tiny DD was! Although it was short, it was also cheap. So that makes us think of how awesome it would be is Adventure Islands took a bit more time and make a larger sequel to this game! That would be AWESOME!!! We would totally buy a game like that for a higher price; even pay in-app purchases to go to new dungeons! (I’ve never payed in-app purchases so far) So please but this cheap game and enjoy the crap out of it like we did!! ^_^

It’s great! Metroid-y and fun. And it’s free. Loved it.

This is a great game, but it starts freezing later on.

Ok everything was working great: BEAUTIFUL GAME, until we were killed by an arrow midair (like game over killed) THEN everything went down hill! Whenever we reached game over it would freeze (music still playing) and we would have to reset the game. Also, the framerate became terrible and the music is all choppy. We have no idea how to fix this or if it’s just our phone (btw got this phone a week ago so probably not) fix this asap!!!!!

Just bought the game yesterday and beat the game today. Even at $0.99, we don’t think it’s worth it. Sword of Xolan is the same price, and definitely worth it’s weight in gold. It’s an OK game for someone looking for a little time to kill, but if you want to be immersed in an adventure, this is not it. PROS: -cool retro background music -controls not cluttered on the screen -various levels of difficulties -Game Center achievements -time trial for the brave and quick -hidden pathways for finding fruit treasures CONS: -frame lags, crashes, and freezes, especially in the level before the boss (running from 6+) -short (one of those quick games to pass by time) -boss level too easy -getting hit makes character jump 3 feet back (this is especially hard if you get hit near the lava by bats when getting the key for the boss door) -momentum causes landing (from jumping) to not be accurate so you must control the character if jumping between ledges -a bug where if a character goes near the furthest corner of the ledge, he is stuck there and can’t move we only got 2 of the 4 fruits. We didn’t bother trying to find the rest because the game kept crashing/freezing when we died. We had better expectations for this game. We hope they fixed the freezing/lags.

This game looks amazing and plays pretty well, but you can literally beat it start to finish in around 10 minutes.

Super dangerous dungeons is WAY better than this boring game. It’s a TOTAL waste of money! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!

We were having a lot of fun playing this game until after awhile it would do this thing where it hiccups frequently. That makes it pretty much impossible to play, since you need to make precise movements to play the more difficult levels. Judging from the reviews, it seems like a lot of people are having this problem, so it’s not just our device (6+).

Pros: 1. Good exploration. 2. Beautiful GameBoy styled graphics. 3. Sounds and music are good. Cons: 1. Only 1 level!!!!!!! Took us 30 minutes. We were expecting at least 3 or 4 dungeons. 2. Only 1 song for the whole 30 minutes of gameplay. 3. Controls are ok, could be improved… Sometimes we wanted to press a button but ended up pressing something else. We guess something with hit detection? Bottom line, we would love if the game was longer and had more but this is just lame for a paid app.

There is this terrible freeze big glirtching it’s way out of your once beautiful our smooth playing game, no it’s so sad to play, the frames are lagging, and anytime you save the game (or attempt to), it automatically freezes, and takes a while to go back to "normal" (still glitching), please fix as we want our game back!

FIX THE GLITCHES!!! So frustrating to lose the level because of the games bugs and freezes!!! Regretted that we bought this app!!!!!

This game has good gameplay and does dungeon crawler right, but frequent frame drops and freezes make it unplayable. Needs a stability update.

Such an awesome little game! We would love to see many more sequels staring Timmy! Maybe the game dev will port his original tiny dangerous dungeon we keep hearing about.

A short and sweet throwback to game boy games. Not a long game but fun throughout.

Game ran smoothly on our 4S with iOS 7.

When the latest update was released, the game started to crash every time we died.

The game ran flawlessly until it gets to the final key. We’re using an iPhone 6, a game of this level of complexity should not have an issue running on our phone. It will freeze momentarily mid jump or mid attack which is making it impossible to beat. Fix the glitches and we will give 5 stars.

We really like the concept of the game and would enjoy it so much more if it didn’t freeze up so much making some hard parts of the dungeon even harder, even after update still badly glitchy.

IPhones need more little epic games like this. Great art, great controls, great story and gameplay. We’re really enjoying it.

Saw this game in the "Best New Apps" section and decided to get it, and am very happy we did! This is one of the better apps on the AppStore. It has old GB graphics and plays like a classic platformer. It is excellent and we highly recommend it.

Cool little retro throwback with decent responsive controls and gameplay to keep you coming back for more.

It’s short but if you are into time trials this is for you. However we’re not into that. We will play it again just because it was so fun.

Yu from GameBoy Generation , Yu have to Buy it, no question ask! Fantastic work, keep expand the story!

We would give it 5 stars but it freezes when we die.

GREAT gameplay, but same bugs as others have reported – on iPhone 6, serious lags and frame skips make the harder areas near the end impossible to navigate. App must be force-quitted after each death. Only taking off one star cuz we’re a developer too and we know how hard it is, but please fix ASAP!

We’re a little torn on how to rate this one. The game is fun, well made and has decent controls. Where it really shines though is the pleasing, retro GameBoy feel. The game’s creators did an excellent job of creating a game that really feels like it could have been released on the GameBoy in the late 80’s. All that said, this game is SHORT. We finished it in one sitting. Took maybe an hour. Feels more like one level from a game rather than a full game. Worth 99 cents? Hmmm, that’s debatable. We’ve paid 99 cents for games with more play value. If you are a child of the 80’s, or a fan of retro platformers, you’ll enjoy this game. Just don’t expect much bang for your buck. Side note: we did not experience any of the bugs that others have complained of. Played smoothly on an ipad 4 from start to finish.

Pros: Classic GameBoy creamed spinach graphics; nice ability progression; decent spacing of save statues (at least for awhile) Cons: Suffers from framerate drops and slowdown in area w lots of moving elements or background animation, which makes gameplay frustrating… Hopefully performance issues get fixed because it’s a nice little game.

Nice retro throwback. The game is good with a nice nostalgic feel. It’s a bit simplistic but still fun.

This is a compact adventure that will give you a fun action-packed hour or two. Great graphics, music and level designs. We experienced no bugs or frame rate drop as others reported. We did experience some issues with the controls (I think the hit box is too small for the jump buttons and all of the buttons in general). But it’s a minor thing. This is a super game and an obvious labor of love from the dev.

Like the retro feel however game is littered with frame rate issues and you can also get stuck on walls and stuff. Tiny is also very right as we completed the game in under 2 hours.

Echoing what others have said — we were really enjoying this game on our iPhone 6+ — it made us nostalgic for the days of the original game boy. But as we’re nearing the end, bugs start to creep in. Precise platforming becomes extremely difficult because of random frame skips, often while jumping. On top of that, recovering from death at the nearest save point begins to take an excessively long time. These bugs are so frustrating, because you are already invested in an otherwise very solid title up until this point. Once these bugs are fixed we have no problem recommending it, but these should have been addressed before release.
