Keeps your mind active, love spelling words, we are 80 years young and enjoy this game very much.
We love this game (and Red Herring as well) and would love more chapters please!! We personally love it when we have to figure out what the theme of the puzzle is, especially when its not so obvious. They are mini crosswords after all so its nice to have a challenge within the mini game! PS Left a prior review as the last release had spelling errors etc. Once developers were notified they were corrected very quickly so wanted to thank developers & submit a better review.
Only thing we dont like is that when a puzzle stops us, Ido not get to see the answers.
Fun little crossword… Interesting catagories.
We used to love this carefree game when there were unlimited clues. You took all the fun away and made this almost impossible.
This game does not work at all with voiceover like seven little words does. If you can fix this, we might be able to enjoy this game, and give a better review.

Its one of our favorite games. Its one of the first games we open, right after Blue Ox Red Herring and Monkey Wrench.
Game is kind of a combination of crossword and Jumble, usually 3 to 4 words, but theres a clever theme to each puzzle, sometimes not apparent until AFTER you solve the puzzle. Solutions are usually fairly easy so makes for a short relaxing activity, though sometimes a hint is needed. And yeah when you run out of those hints you have to purchase more, but its inexpensive and worth it for this fun game. Kind of addicting. Recommended.
We wish we up to 5 Daily TLC puzzles! They are fun!

Live the ones that have challenging themes or are a play on words. Wish there were more updated sets of 50. No updates in a few years and that is disappointing.

You need to give some free hints. Maybe have them earned by the number of puzzles done correctly. If there were some hints, like there used to be, we would have rated it 5 stars.

We love crossword puzzles, and when we dont have our book with us, these puzzles entertain us every time we have a break and play. Theyre clever and unique. Good job!
We had to restore our iPad and lost our hint stash. They never responded to us. We had about 300 hints on our other iPad and they just disappeared. They want you to buy hints, but they apparently have no accounting system to keep track and fix issues. Why would we buy something that could disappear and we lose the money we spent on it?
We love this game. Just hard enough without being crazy frustrating. If you are of average intelligence (or higher) you should give this game a try!

This is on our every day game list. Just a bite-sized crossword puzzle that is creative and fun.
Okay, we have been playing this game for several years now and because the daily theme might be too obscure we would resort to the free hints, which we had many. But when the designers removed the free hints we figured we would be playing the game less. Instead, we now look forward to it each day to challenge our mind as to what the heck the cryptic means, then figure out what the words are. This often means we need to resort to other sites to get clues (I’ve long since have used up our free clues), but that just adds to the challenge. Makes us realize we’re more of a sleuth than we thought.
We’ve been doing these for years; even bought a season pass. Hint: its all in interpreting the title correctly. We really like it!
Our husband and we love this game, competing to complete them without using hints. Four stars because there is not an avenue to earn hints rather than paying for them. And today, the 11/12/21 puzzle says not available . Whats up with that?

We’ve enjoyed this puzzle for years but am disappointed that they changed the hints. It makes us stop playing before we finish the puzzle because we dont want to use up the hints.
Its a great little game. We appreciate the free daily puzzle. We know people are angry they took away free hints but paying for them was worth it – no ads! – and we dont have a problem with the developers charging (though they should consider giving a couple free hints with each free daily puzzle). The problem is we also bought unlimited access, and we’ve completed all the available puzzles. The game itself – design, ease of use, cleverness, challenge – deserves 5 stars. But Im giving 4 because the developer doesnt add new packs. Come on, Blue Ox!
We play this app every day and havent missed completing a daily puzzle since the app was just released. We enjoy it very much. That said, Id give it 5/5 stars, but am still salty that they took a free hint feature and abruptly started charging for it, which we found particularly tasteless and discourteous. Great puzzles otherwise.
We’ve been loving this app, but since purchase of new phone, the app presents as a black screen. We miss our puzzles. Any help?

Great game. When are new puzzle packs coming? Its been about two years.
We like this game more than we thought we would. Its easy at first and it gradually gets more challenging as you move through the levels. Its the kind of game where you say to yourself, okay, this is the last one, we have to get back to workokay, just one moreand so SUGGESTION: add the option to tap on a letter and then tap to place it in a space instead of having to drag the letters to place them. Like it does when you put letters back after youve placed an incorrect word. It would make it a lot easier to play with one hand. Anyway, great game so far!

We used to love this crossword app. The puzzles are fun, brief, quirky, and clever. Unfortunately, then the free hints disappeared – and we needed a hint once in a while. Next it was pay for hints. Fine, but now not only does one have to pay for hints, one has to continue to watch their advertisements. Dear App Creator, If youre going to make us watch advertisements, you could at least give one free pet per day. Now we just feel like youre robbing us of our time AND our money.
Seems like a lot of people are not very happy since you got rid of the unlimited hints, us included! Your puzzle clues are so vague you have to get one word to understand where the puzzle is going, fo example, todays clue is a finch, a fox and a gosling walk into a bar, really we have no clue. We are forced to skip many puzzles or use all our hints and stop playing. We have played this game for years and have enjoyed it but soon we will stop playing, we refuse to pay for hints. We play another game where you can earn hints by watching extra ads, we would keep playing if this was an option. Please add back the unlimited hints or lose a customer!
Have been playing this game for years, out of the blue you are charging for hints, if you would have changed to at least one free hint a day and watch ads for others…. Sometimes you just need one clue to understand what they mean…. Will probably delete from our devices.
