Community Insight:
Wasted our money. The app will only work with the pictures it came with. When we try to use our own the app shuts down as soon we open it.
Our 2yrs loves this app and can't stop playing.
Our son (2) loves this game. We love that you adjust the level and what pictures you want to show. It is a great tool to build up vocabulary and skills to recognize items.
Best part of this game is that you can customize it with your own pictures of things your kids love and use your own voice to say the objects…our kids love it.
This app like the othr photo touch apps allows for flexibility with children of many ages and disabilities. It teaches and then it allows discrimination for a testing type situation. It allows you to very the number of items, the items themselves, the number on the screen and some of the sounds. It is useful with toddlers with language delay and older children with severe language delays, possibly as a testing tool in special education and a discrete trial format for chidlren on the spectrum.
This is a great app for teaching and assessing vocabulary and comprehension. We love having the ability to make changes based on skill level. Good job.
We love these apps for working with students with hearing loss. They are great for auditory discrimination and vocabulary development.
Our 20 month old wants a turn on the iPad too! With this game he can play all by himself and really feels like a big boy. He enjoys the pictures and has learned to say several new words.
Our sons ABA therapist wanted him to have some cards that we could start out with just one card to build up confidence and then add more and more. This app is perfect for that because it's all customizable. Our son was diagnosed Autistic and he's two years old. He has enjoyed it so far. Thanks for such a great app.
Wonderful app that is great for receptive language development.
As usual an educationally relevant app for language learning.
Our son loves all of the Photo Touch apps. Great for receptive and expressive vocabulary and photo discrimination.
We love this app! We use this app frequently with our early intervention kids to teach picture concepts. We recently added a bunch of new picture and am now using it to help teach associations by recording a question with the picture instead of just the picture name. We love that we can put certain pictures onto specific lists and turn pictures on or off. We also love that we can chose how many picture are shown at a time.
We have replaced the voices with our own and he is learning very fast.
Our daughter loves this app. We love the bright pictures and how you can change the settings.
Love the pictures but wish it collected data on correct and incorrect responses.
We have all the photo touch games and have been waiting for this one to be available. Thanks for helping us teach our clients.
Wonderful app, as they usually are, however, we deleted a word from the list, and it continues to be presented verbally with a blank spot in the choices. If you touch the blank spot, it tells you that it was correct. The word was "abacus", and it comes up VERY frequently! We can't use this in speech therapy in this condition.
