Our son has learned so much from this app. It has helped him understand how upper and lower case letters can be the same letter.
Great app! However when we updated the app, ALL us word lists we previously created were wiped out. Is there any way to retrieve them? Other than that, this is highly useful in our family! Would be great if there was an option to pull magnet tiles from the ENTIRE alphabet into their correct spots in the spelling word. This would mimic a VERY popular homeschool spelling curriculum in which many children become great spellers. Either way, highly recommend this app, especially due to the fact that you can tailor to your children’s needs.
We just bought this app it doesnt make any sound. Im really mad, buecause we think is a super important part to get children interact. Wht can we do?
Just purchased this last night. Recording, sound, playing with five letter and six letter words–all do not work! Rebate!
Help! Our son LOVES this app but the sound quit working. Sound is on in settings, have rebooted ipad and even deleted and reinstalled app – all to no avail!
We LOVE this app and fully agree with everything ABA Dad says. We also have a special needs child and this app has made studying for spelling tests fun and easy. He types in his spelling words and records himself saying the word. The personalization is what makes it work for him. Yes "b" and "v" are reversed but that is an easy fix since you can customize pretty much anything. Thank you for a great app.

The iPad has been a great learning tool for our special needs son. He has learned to spell using different apps. This app is the best spelling app we have found, since it combines a simple drag and drop format, clear easy to read letters, uses only positive reinforcement, and truly is fully customizable. You can add new words and pictures you want your child to work on, and can create multiple word lists to work on, selecting one or multiple lists to be used in a session. If we could give this app 10 STARS, we would !!!
We recorded our own voice for all the letters and congratulatory phrases, and used pictures of our extended family for the words, and the kids love it. Our 4 year old is a master at it and even our 2 year old can play and have fun. Great app!

This app is great because we can focus on the sounds of the words with the children we work with that have articulation delays. It’s a great app.
We generally like this app. Our 4 year old loves to play it, and we think it is helping her put letters together to make words. The customization is fun – we made a set with family pictures and she loves to spell her brother’s and dog’s names. The only problem is that it suddenly stops working, mixes up letters, stops using all the customized words (for some reason it only brings up the kid pictures, not the adults). Re-starting it sometimes re-sets it, but doesn’t solve all the problems. We like it but the inconsistency is annoying.
When we first got this app we loved that it could customized to meet the needs of the many children we work with, we even recommended it to many parents. However, THE APP KEEPS CRASHING! We have wasted much time re-customizing this app, just to have it crash again- a waste of our time and a disappointment for the children who spent there time typing in vocabulary words. Customer support has not been helpful. We do not recommend this app until the bugs have been fixed!
We were excited to download his because we could personalize the app. However, after only four days, the app no longer will open for play. We spent several hours adding photos and sound clips, so we are upset that all that work was lost. It is a great concept with words not found on other apps, but apparently wasn’t built to last.

Shouldn’t a teaching app use correct sounds for each letter? Then why are the sounds for ‘b’ and ‘v’ reversed? Fail.
With all the available features it is easy to customize this app so that all students can be successful, even those who have difficulty isolating one finger to move letter tiles. Great app!
This app is incredible! The support team has been great to fix bugs. This is the perfect app for our daughter who is learning to spell simple words and we absolutely love that we can add words such as her name, our pets names, and other words that are important to her. After all, learning is more exciting when its meaningful!!! Love this app! We look forward to more apps from this company!
This is a lot of fun and we like the way it spells says the word, spells again and repeats for reinforcement. You can change things to keep it interesting and add your own words. Even none spellers like it .
Even for very young learners this is easy to use and holds their attention.
We love the customization options for this app. You can set the prompt level to what is appropriate for your child, and change it to increase the difficulty level as they learn.

After downloading an abundance of "educational" apps @ app store – for our 7,6 & 4 year olds – we’ve tested them all & some were terrible , some great – most mediocre. Even with the grandest available – we’ve always had one wish… That was that there was an available setting to "personalize" the app with voice &/or select words ….. DRUUUUUMROOOOLLLLL …….. :-) It’s finally found!! Thanks you guys (creators of app) you have no idea what an incredible feature you’ve made available (or maybe you do.. Lol) it’s amazing!! Something so simple & yet no apps were grasping unto that idea,… We’ve read over & over – Review after review – The same suggestion being made…..,someone finally picked up on it!!!!! This app Rocks!!!
This a nice to keep going from three words to four. Our son really likes this app. It really is helping him with learning more words.
App would be a lot more educational if the letters actually pronounced their sound when you touched them. This would allow children to really understand and learn how to read.
