Players & Cards
Tong-Its is a game for three players only, using one standard Anglo-American deck of 52 cards (without jokers). The cards in each suit rank: Ace 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Jack Queen King. An Ace is worth 1 point, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10 points each, and all other cards count their face value.
Objective
The object of the game is, by drawing and discarding, to form sets and runs, and to minimize the count of unmatched cards remaining in your hand.
A run consists of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, such as 4, 5, 6 of Hearts or 8, 9, 10, J of Spades. (A-K-Q of a suit is not a run since aces are low in this game).
A set consists of three or four cards of the same rank, such as 7 of Hearts, 7 of Club, 7 of Diamond. A card can belong to only one combination at a time – you cannot use the same card as part of both a set and a run.
The Deal
The first dealer is chosen randomly. Thereafter the dealer is the winner of the previous hand. The cards are dealt one at a time counterclockwise, starting with the dealer: thirteen cards to the dealer and twelve cards to each of the other players. The remainder of the deck is placed face down to form the stock.
The Play
Each turn consists of the following:
Draw You must begin by taking one card from either the top of the stock or the top card on the discard pile, and adding it to your hand. You may only take a card from the discard pile if you are able to create a meld (a set or run) with it, and you are then obliged to expose the meld.
Exposing Melds If you have a valid meld or melds (sets or runs) in your hand you can expose any of them on the table in front of you. Melding is optional if a card was taken from the stock; you are not obliged to expose a meld just because you can, and note that melds held in hand do not count against you at the end of the play. A player must lay at least one meld on the table for the hand to be considered opened. In the special case that you can meld a set of four and you have not drawn from the discard pile to complete the meld, you can lay the set of four down face down. By doing this you can "open" your hand without losing the bonus payments for a secret set of 4 and without revealing the cards to the other players.
Laying off (sapaw) This is also optional. If you wish, you may add cards to sets or runs previously melded by yourself or others. There is no limit to the number of cards a player may lay off in one turn. A player need not have opened their hand to lay off. Laying a card off on another player's exposed meld prevents that player from calling Draw on his or her next turn.
Discard At the end of your turn, one card must be discarded from your hand and placed on top of the discard pile face up.

Good game but the ads are annoying. Limit it at least just 10 secs would be fine.
Game it great, ads are very annoying and take to much time. We purchased remove ads and they still show up. We thought maybe it didnt go through so we tried purchasing again. The game says youve already purchased this. Do you want it again for free? We say yes and the ads still play. Super annoying.
Spending more time warching ads than playing.
Most of the time after you win a hand ,either you get a horrible hand , or you get a hand that the other two players cant put the first three cards . The programmer has to change the pattern of the deal to be interesting.
We paid for ad removal and still see ads after every hand we have to sit through a 30second ad just take away the no add purchase, its a lie and frustrating.
Too many ads. Ill pay a small fee to remove but theres no option to do that anymore.

We really like this game! Some players are Hustler, after you finish the game too much Advertising and we exit the games it freezes. Please fix this game we love it its nice.

We had fun playing but we got tired of the ads constantly every after game so we might take this off of our phone.
Bought REMOVE ADS but continunuously plays ADS EVERYTIME. BOGUS.
At first its ok with 5 seconds interval ads but after a day playing it, the ads are just ridiculously long its not even fun playing anymore we had to delete.
The is game good but we cant give the best rate it is bcuz of the ads thats annoying And is not telling the true" we get froze too some of that ads game it say for free but in the middle of the game you need to buy or waste money to build up your learning is not helping at all. The pgh the sweepstakes ads its froze on the screen it seems like manipulating the situations. Remov3 the ads in your game or we report the facts.

Bought the remove ads feature for $2.99. But the ads were still there.
Purchased the no ads option but it still shows ads.the UI is pretty poor and the entire design is generally crap.
Paid for it, complete rip-off, now the Ads just hang. Have restart every hand such a shame. Sent an email on ads, they told us thanks for the money but they arent required to follow through on any purchases. Buyers beware.

If only we could send pictures in our comments.. It is badly scored, several times our card count was 1 and we lose to higher card counts.. Awful.
Game is great but needs to be fixed. Numerous times that our low cards lost to higher cards. The end sequence if tied the winner does not go to the very last person that draws.
This game would have been great to play because it brings back childhood silliness since our cousins and we used to play this just for fun and who ever losses gets lipstick or powder in the face. We noticed that every time we got the upper hand then lose the next game whoever wins get the whole jackpot even though we won previously. And also, we would have 12 on hand and yet the other person will win with 31 on hand, how is that winning over 12? Maybe the person who made this game needs to improve this because it seems like we are being cheated. We dont care about the winnings, we play this for fun but still wanted a fair game like the real one.
Looks good, but the game is seriously flawed and loaded with ADs. Watch your cards, youll get duplicates or triplicates of the same card. It will be the same suit and number! Wish we could attach a screenshot… Theres a player with 5 nines and 2 fives of the same suit!!! Better off with a game that actually works properly and doesnt kill you with ADs.
