Good game but there is a bugthe nuclear option doesnt always blow up helicopters for some reason. Please fix this.
Game is fun. A little repetitive but fun every time you come back. Tanks: – Standard; basic – Scorpion; you can shoot more often but not that noticeable. – Police; Aerial assault is useful but it doesnt kill all the enemies. – Rover (grey); our favorite since shells gravitate towards enemies. Easier to hit them. – Black; force field doesnt help much when you get hit by heavy artillery. – Duck; a tank might not shoot but that doesnt happen that often. – Unicorn; lamest. Youre supposed to get more perks but its not that useful. To unlock stages, you have to advance certain distances. Just play now and then and youll advance.
We would be nice if you can cancel off the tanks firing and moving so we can vibe to the epic music.
Overall its a fun little game that you can play for a long time just we wish you could upgrade your tank but thats just something we wouldve liked not a problem with the game.
We dont play it often, but when we do, its very relaxing. Good single minded fun shoot-em up. We can always wish it had more, but we love it.
We know how to turn of music but how about sound effects.

This is a really fun game, we could play for hours. The only problem we have with it, we cant purchase the blue tank that calls for assist. We can purchase all the others, even if they are locked. The blue tank is the one we want the most, and we cant purchase it. Tried reinstalling the game several times, and playing on different devises. Still cant buy it.
Loved this game until our iPhone 7. This game requires too much force to fire now. Must be something to do with the 3D Touch. Used to be a simple tap to aim/fire. Now you have to press hard and there is a noticeable delay. We still give it high marks for all the hours we spent playing it on iPhone 6.

Our high score is 590,000 and we feel like we could double that with more practice. That's what's great about this game, it's has simple mechanics but the challenge heats up as you move on requiring accurate shooting to stay alive really addicting and rewarding experience. The game play is simple but requires visualizing where a shell will fall. Good sound effects and music. The more you play the more tanks are offered up for free trial.
We have many, but this one is more fun than we've had in a while. We keep going back for more. Feel lucky to have found it.
We don't think those high scores are legit but check out our 1.6m on YouTube under dough! Why remove cheat to get nuke every prize? That was fun! We are way too old for this.
Needs more locales. Game ends to fast. If they'd consistently release updates w/ more, easily a 5 star game. But since there hasn't been an update since December 2015, we're not holding our breath.
Despite the low resolution the game is fun and addictive. After a while we got tired of retaining no permanent achievements and having to start each game from scratch… Also, it looks like the 2nd hit means death. Given the computer's advantage over the player, it would be right to add a life or permanently enable the nuclear option, which is now completely gone – removed after we paid for 2 tanks. The only way to get it back is uninstall and reinstall, with no way to restore your purchases.
All the negative reviews are clearly being written by spoiled 14 year olds who have no concept of value. They're complaining about a FREE game that has content inside you "have to" pay for. The special tanks are .99c and these entitled children are upset??? Look at the credits of the game… This was designed, coded, scored and animated by ONE PERSON! Let us tell you, this Josh character did a BANG UP JOB! The game is phenomenal. It is addicting, well animated and fun to play intermittently for HOURS. This game deserves a FIVE STAR REVIEW. Don't let the other critics steer you away.
Even without paying for the other tank options, Top Tank is a fun diversion for the casual gamer who wants to get in and blow stuff up without all of the complexity of other games. $.99 for an upgraded tank is well worth the money.
This game is a blast for a little while. We also like the gag gifts. We wish you could try all the tanks out, they don't seem to let you try the scorpion or unicorn. Still a good game.
Took away the ability to permanently unlock tanks once in a blue moon to being able to temporarily unlock tanks more often. This is a mistake in our opinion. We won a cool (police) tank that drops random air support every so often when you fire. We thought at the time, what a cool developer to unlock permanently a paid-for mod. Little did we know how rare it was for tank unlocks to happen and sadly now it will never happen again.
Since the last update, every time we collect a prize, at the end of the game, instead of showing us what our prize is, the app just crashes, and we have to restart it. The prize is never added to our inventory either (ie nuclear option). Otherwise, great game. Please fix the crashing.

Why would you make the tanks you unlock from prize boxes not permanent? When in the previous patch they were permanent. Just stop with the greed, that's not how you make a successful app, you can't have your app cost money and all the perks cost money too, you make one or the other. We would make the tanks unlockable by just playing the game like through challenges, like kill a certain amount of enemies or travel a certain distance. So just stop with the greed and just make the game fun again.
If we were an app developer, we would aim to make one of this quality. This game looks great, and the gameplay is flawless as well. Nothing better than landing 6 longshots in a row. Only recommendation would be add more tanks.
We didn't buy the game.. It was free for a few hours… Anyway. THIS GAME IS AWESOME! USES SO SMALL AMOUNT OF MEMORY! SO ENTERTAINING! We DUNNO LIKE THE BEST GAME we'VE EVER PLAYED ON A PHONE. (Graphics are good enough, it's not FIFA dang :D.

We adore this game! For all of those, who've just started playing it, you can actually unlock new tanks from presents that you find. Its gameplay is so fascinating that you forget about all of this new-age crap and just enjoy it for the fun it brings. Thank you guys! Looking forward to something new from you. ;).

Great little game, addictive and you can easily sink hours on end into it building up and mastering the gameplay. And the retro graphics really help take you back to a simpler time where gameplay reigned supreme.

We got this game for free while it was on sale. It's a fun game. Easy to learn, tough to master. Penalties: -1 star for being a paid app with microtransactions. -1 star for offering microtransactions that alter gameplay that can only be acquired with real money (we.e. Costumes that offer some kind of gameplay bonus). We recommend the developers make all costumes free or attainable through gameplay. Either ditch both the price tag and microtransactions and make the game 100% free or ditch the microtransactions as suggested above. If either of these recommendations are met then we will gladly rate this game 5 stars.
For an app that costs money to purchase, it's rather strange that it gives you such a hard to simply unlock other tanks unless you pay even more money. Developer: Just let gamers unlock tanks permanently and don't make the odds 0.01%. This "temporary" unlock is nonsense.
Yes one star, Why collect prize boxes? They don't do anything, basically you wasted your time writing code. Why does every tank get bought with real cash? You wrote a scam game, your a thief. Sleep well on that, we will change our review when you make a real game instead of a time waster, here's a secret real games have an ending.
The often used phrase "easy to learn, hard to master" definitely applies to Top Tank. This is a beautifully retro-styled arcade game that requires the player to hone their skills before they can reach their goal of becoming Top Tank.
A great twist on the tired endless runner genre. One touch is all you need to play, but that one touch gives you a surprising level of control over the action. Very well thought-out and balanced. A must-play.
The game is simple to control and full of fun. We were very surprised to see such a fun game with so much activity. If you like to aim and shoot at moving objects, then you will love this game.

This is a gem. Controls are ridiculously easy but it's still a real challenge hitting the enemies. Great secondary weapons. Very much worth buying.

This game is one of the better games we've downloaded… Except for not having an upgrading system! You should pick up coins to make your tank baller. The system could let you upgrade your shells and speed of your tank. You could also upgrade your defense and coin frequency. That would make this game astounding. Thanks.
