Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

Im the type that if we really love an app/game- we wont uninstall it. As such we have a handful of games that we have installed on every new device over the last 13 years. Tower Swap will now join the ranks of :OutThere, Triple Town, Hocus, Troll Patrol, Frotz, Reigns and good ole Solitaire. Tower Swap is great in that it feels new while also feeling like we are playing an old game from when we were a kid in the 90s lol. You can join a clan and get points:) You can play over and over and over again and it is never boring bc it is never the same! There is depth in that little things do open up with more gameplay. We like the music and the visuals are not too flashy and bright. It is great anytime in the day -but especially at night or when we are anxious. Oh and the ads seem virtually non-existent (you can accept the rouge like demise or you can watch and ad to rejuvenate your castle /playthrough). We appreciate the option to do either:) Thank you Devs for creating this game – it shall live on all our new devices hopefully for another 12 years ;0).

We love this game and Ive been playing for over a year! Im in a clan with our friends and we love how war changes every week and how there are new updates to the game. Ive given feedback before and have the creator of the game has fixed the issue in the next update.

One of the best puzzle games Ive played. No ads if you wish to just play the game uninterrupted. Developer really made a game to be enjoyed. 10 stars if we could.

As of writing this ads are 100% optional and youre not missing anything if you dont engage with them. Game is easy to understand but incredibly fun to strategize for and every weekend there is an alt play mode.

We wanted to like this game, since you can play it offline. However, if you play it offline, you have to start all over if you close the app. There is no save between days (levels). Meaning, if youre a busy person that can only play in short spurts, then this game isnt for you. Maybe if you create an account and log in you can save, but we dont want an account. We dont understand why youd make a game where you cant save. At least it was free to try. Oh well, it seemed really good otherwise. But we deleted it because of this.

We can beat off with one hand and play with the other.

Really love this game, a wonderful combo of match 3 and tower defense. Two small complaints are that the sound gets turned off by other apps and then not restored and getting past day 30 is super hard.

This is the greatest tower defense game ever made. The developer clearly has the brain power of a young god. If Einstein were alive today, he would say Curtis, your coding skills make our theory of relativity look like childs play. And then Einstein would then proceed to listen to Curtis dissertation on the history of C++. There are 3 things in this world we love: This game, pizza, and our family (in that order).

We dont like it cause its boring.

The game was fun initially despite the difficulty escalating too quickly. Our problem with the game is, if we get a DM on Discord and check it or toggle to a skip to the next podcast for just a couple of seconds, the game logs us out. We sign in and our game is lost and has to start over. We got too tired of getting amazing runs ruined by this system.

Amazing game but the constant lost progress and needing to log back in lately is killing the fun.

Play the game already its perfect.

Excellent game, dont be fooled by the initial simplicity, this game is easy to learn but theres nuance to the strategy. Good luck putting this one down.

Its perfectly satisfying. The gameplay holds up on its own without a slew of features. However, some features that would be nice include a tutorial and the ability to darken the clouds. Every game there is a glaring white cloud section at the bottom with no gameplay that the developer just left there.

Everything is there for it to be fun, except the fine tunings of the dragons are way off. Lvl 20 dragon has too much health for that interval, the lvl 40 is the same, if the game is going to require to spend 100 gold to revive, make the difficulty a little more linear.

Update 8/24 : since this review the game has updated – either more dragons, more durable dragons, or far less treasure appearing – probably all three. Game is still cool but its a lot harder to get past day 50 and we havent been able to make a 400 move chest since the update – before the update we could do it in every other game. There is no real benefit to getting past level 50 anyway tho so whatever we guess. It was fun to see how far into the 70s we could get. Its just a simple game, but it stays just challenging enough to stay interesting but not so challenging that it demands your full attention. We play this every single day. Im pretty sure its 100% free – there might have been an ad removal fee but its totally worth it for the time you get. We really like the weekend battle – we wish more people played. Recommendations to the dev: Remove inactive clans from the weekly battle thing. A clan must have usernames who have played x times in the week to qualify for the weekly battle. Make another row available for (probably a lot of) coins or make it so you can build down – make the island bigger by sacrificing rocks down. Maybe you drag three rocks down and you get a new square to build on. We think this is fair because the game will always overwhelm the castle at about the 70-75th day – thats with 12, 13, 14+ gold towers and gold towers in the castle too. On the other hand maybe some game mechanics requires that the game not go past that. FWIW we quit a lot of games at day 51. Make it so that you can sacrifice a level 2 tower for a level 1 resource of your choice. Maybe even a level 3 tower in exchange for a level 2 tower of your choice, etc. The end game (day 51 onward) can see the player with 800 moves and all they can do is sacrifice resources until a merge is available. It feels fair that if you make a bigger sacrifice that you get a bigger reward. It might make it feel like youre not just throwing hundreds of moves away on a game of chance.

This game is highly addicting and super fun to play. One of the best Match 3 games to play. Gotta strategize and plan your moves, not just some dumb move a gem and hope it works out. The ADs are not even annoying as you can play quite a bit without having to see one but you do get offers to watch ads to get game pieces from time to time.

This game has our entire family hooked! We love that you can pick it up and set it down whenever. Getting past 50 is super tough.

The gameplay is super addicting. The rewards seem underwhelming. If you take your time and play to high level you dont get much gold. Its faster to just watch ads for gold, which just feels bad. We havent used hardly any gold because it is so hard to get by just playing.

This game is very difficult but super fun. Its free so just try it. Also no intrusive ads and no mtx (we think) is also a huge plus. Only complaint is we wish there was more content.

This is a pretty solid game but there is a bug where it keeps saying Im offline. Also, we would prefer not having to create an account to play. Use Game Center or something like that.

If Tony Stark and The Hulk had a baby, it would be this game. There is no better tower defense game in the world. Also, if you dont download it, youll probably get some kind of curse. That would be bad.

Really fun game to pass the time. We would pay for a no ad option. Either way fun game.
