Your journey as a Train Driver begins today in this realistic train simulator! From the makers of the world-leading Trainz series, take charge of a wide range of powerful locos, hauling thousands of tonnes of freight, shunting in the yard or shuttling passengers along suburban lines. Explore amazingly detailed and interactive routes from around the world from a variety of camera angles. Fun for ages 5 to 95!
Journey 4 – Introduction to Steam
This Journey takes you back to the 1940’s and 50’s when steam ruled the railroads! You start out with some introductory sessions to teach you how to handle the complex tasks of keeping your fire hot, water and coal levels maintained and avoiding wheelslip. You then move onto the famous Union Pacific BigBoy. The largest ever "4-8-8-4" steam loco consisted of a four-wheel leading truck for stability entering curves, two sets of eight driving wheels and a four-wheel trailing truck to support the large firebox. We have saved the best Steam locomotive for last. We are very excited to have this ultra high detailed train on mobile. Please welcome "The Blue Comet" in all its glory!

Train Driver Journey 4 – Introduction to Steam Reviews
We love the game but we would like to see more Steamers.
The game works great, but could use an option to enlarge the controls if one wants. They are tiny and a bit fiddley right now. It could also use an indicator as to what the upcoming grade and speed is going to be. A "real" engineer would know this, but it’s impossible to tell what a hill is just from the camera perspective of the game. Even so, it’s great fun.
This is amazing just add Thomas the tank engine content and we’re happy we love it and the blue comet.
We’ve been playing for a while but we cannot get that blue comet train to hook up to its train cars and on the other one where it says their steam trains we cannot find steam trains so can you make it a little easier.
We’ve been apart of the Trainz community for a while and they always bring something great with every release. We were hoping that some of the newly released vehicles would be available in TD 2.

We recreated the polar express in this game so cool.
Do you guys at the app corporation know how you go to pause the game and the game’s been paused for hours and when you go back on it again it’s frozen? Well we think you need to add where you can save it, close it, and re open it.
We got this app and we knew it was great before we even opened it. The graphics are amazing and the simulations are really fun.

It is a good game we love playing it. If you made it so a person could shut the engine off that would be fun.
This is amazing we love steam trains!!
Works great not many bugs tutorials are very helpful and we just love the game.
We think this game is awesome, except for a few things: when you start a session, and u have to leave the app or turn off device it does not save your progress, you have to start over, please fix. Second, we like steam engines, there are 5 different steam engines, not five different steam trains, but engines, 3 are blue comet, we only wish there were more steam engines to use. Last, but not least, we think there should be updates, and not every update has to have something added, just updates to let everybody know you are still working on the game. Other than those 3 things, the game is awesome.

Our only bug is it keeps lagging out and going back to the home screen thats all. More steam trains please we’ve been having fun with the three now but the game needs new ones.

We like the trains that are on this app. They look so realistic. We play this almost all the time. We like everything that is on this app. We like the steam and diesel locomotives especially the Blue Comet and SD40 Santa Fe locomotives.

Whats different between heavy and light blue comet???
We think the game is awesome if only there we more trains and different places to go and a bigger map because the map is to small but reasonable size.
Hey we just want to know when there is going to a new engine and when we can create a session in this game.
This is probably one of the best train games we’ve ever played but for trainz simulator 2 (the one that you created) please make it so you can look out the window and go into the fireman seat thank you! :)

We love the steam trains! We love how the wheels and valve gears look so realistic! We feel like Im on the actual train! Out of all of them, our personal favorite has to be The Blue Comet. Please add more steam trains to Trainz Driver Journeys 4 in your new update! Thank you!
It an awesome game we got it because we can play the blue comet on her but we can’t play it on train driver 2.
We really like this game it has the blue comet and the big boy and some really cool other trains. We also think you could make another TDJ but you can go around the world and go through Texas and Dallas. Other than that this is a really good games and if you like trains you should buy all the TDJ games too.
Awesome. Be sure and select a each coach on the Blue Comet and switch to Cab View. You can ride in the coach while you are driving for a different experience.

This is a great complement to the Trains series of simulators. More steam trains with a good variety of diesels like a few Alco’s will make it even greater.
