Tribal Wars 2, the free online strategy game, is the successor to InnoGames’ online hit Tribalwars. You become the ruler of a city in a war torn medieval universe and you have to defend your followers and your village and expand your empire to ensure its survival. Our husband uses crowns and so do we sometimes, but could you please make a world where crowning is deactivated to make it more of an equal opportunity. Maybe do it every 5 worlds or so. And make it a dom world! Definitely need more dom worlds! But over really fun and good game been playing since the first TW. Jeez there would be thousands of players on one world. That was some insane playing. Lol.
This tribal wars 2 strategy game really does take it back to the basics in stratgey games this game has kept the basics and really stuck to their basic of the game genre implies we gift freely a 10 out 5 star rating because it just flows so natural the game play does brillance of these aspects and is wonderful game play values.
Played the game as a kid and it got us into strategy war games. Grew up and instead of the game falling off it EVOLVED AND HAS A LOYAL PLAYER BASE NOW. In love.
If we put it down, and have to come back, we have to completely close out and re open it. ALSO it doesnt like to connect to the gold coins screen. Gets stuck on loading.
Great game. We used to play the original TW 15 years ago. This has a lot of the same elements and strategy. We have noticed that when you switch to another app on an iPhone and switch back it doesnt work. You have to force close the app, annoying and it kills the battery. Overall a great strategy game with other people.
Fun addictive game! The iPhone app doesnt allow you to cycle through villages. The farming shortcuts are nice though.
We played this game for a couple of years ending in 2015. We stopped because for some reason, after, as we said, a couple of years, we could no longer log in. We contacted Support who were absolutely clueless as to how to resolve our situation. We actually deleted the app and reinstalled it even though we knew we would lose access to our villages which we had built up substantially. We were able to play for a couple of months.. And then the exact same thing happened. So we gave up in 2015. We came back this year hoping that whatever glitches we encountered in 2015 were now corrected. We should have known better because the game welcomed us with the same User Name that we used back then. But we tried playing anyway. Everything was great for about two months. Then all of a sudden we could no longer log in. Here we go again. Support was as useless and clueless as last time. We honestly believe that there is only a computer program and not a person there because they kept sending into the same loop over and over with no resolution. When we kept asking for assistance, they said our question was answered (?!?) Next we said let us change our password (something which we have done successfully a couple dozen times on other accounts with little or no problem). Here again, there was a problem. They said they asked for our registered email. WHERE did you ask for that??? We must have missed it! Plus we fear that the email from over EIGHT YEARS AGO was one we deactivated because it got hacked. So that email address doesnt work anymore. If we sound a little ticked off, well, we am. And we are hoping that an actual person in Support will read this and maybe, just maybe, a person, and not a computer generated response, will reply. But we doubt it!
For the most part the game is fun. Wish the scree shots were bigger as it would enable to make viewing much easier. Also would be easier to see players from barbarians. The biggest issue is when our phone moves to save mode and we re-open game its frozen. We have to close out and reload to get access to playing. Game does give good rewards in resources.
There are crashes on the farm info screen. Barracks screen jumps around and cant really select things. Also, the latest update broke farming with preset troops. Other than that, we like it. And its fine on PC. Update in 11/2021 – game still more broken than ever. Nothing ever gets fixed.
We think this company does not exist anymore. We must be the only one playing on the server.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME. THE GAME IS BUGGED! Your troops will disappear on a farm run or attacking an enemy! We have spent hundreds on this game and when we contacted support they said we were using a BOT! We dont even know what that is or how to install it. They said they cant give no details and we invested too much into this game! We play fairly, we dont even know what they are talking about! MY TRIBE MATES LOST THEIR TROOPS AND RESOURCES DISAPPEAR! About 15 yesterday and 8 this morning has had this happened! Our top player is banned and he doesnt even understand why. He is a big time coined and spent over 1k on this game already. And for his efforts to go away because of a clear glitch is unacceptable! IF THIS DOESNT GET FIXED SON, AND WE GET OUR TROOPS BACK we WILL PRESSED F****** CHARGES! We WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK!
We enjoy the game, in fact we think the gameplay is the best of any RTS game out there, but the loading screen bug really hurts. We would give this game 4 stars but the most recent updated pushed through a new cheat/bit detection program which has banned MANY of the remaining 200 ish players that actually play the game any more. This is unacceptable. FIX YOUR GAME! Farming is a core gameplay loop and right now IT GETS YOU BANNED.
To win a world now, you need to shell out cash. To compete with players using more than one account and using illegal scripting and botting cheats, you need to pay a lot to win. Its worse than Loot Box schemes. InnoGames needs to sunset this game.
The devs and moderators of this game are clue less. They issue bans without proof or explanation why. Waste of time and waste of $$$ if you spend on this garbage. This game deserves to be buried like the corpse that itnis.
Great game on pc but app never stays connected long enough to do anything we can only see our villages once every 15-20 times loading the app and we have no connection issues else where. We’ve d contacting app support with no help.
Something changed in the past month or two and the game rarely loads on a mobile device where this was never an issue before. We reached out to support and the first time the our trouble ticket was closed with no resolution. The second time was another garbage response with zero inclination to address the problem. The response (or lack thereof) from support was what you would expect from a game and the end of its life. It is absolutely not worth the investment of your time or money.
We would love to pick up tribal wars again and spend lots of money while doing with it but you all have made it a miserable experience to play basic features of the game. We now work in the tech industry so hopefully our feedback can be helpful for you. 1. Constant, consistent crashing all the time. Your score for stability is a complete garbage. Are you reading all the crash reports sent to you every day or do you hate your users? 2. Collaboration- why is it so hard to start a game with our friends near our friend. We followed your instructions and even scrapped a game after dropping $50 to try to get near our friends. After several attempts we are left scratching our heads at how to get this to work. 3. Security- yall should be aware there are some major holes here. We wont disclose openly but you are asking for trouble if you dont act soon. Please make this game work. Its so fun and we want to experience it again with our friends. The experience 14 years ago on TW1 was better than this on mobile and you didnt have an app then. Please dont peddle your users garbage or someone is gonna show up with similar IP and better execution and take all your users. Problem 1 was addressed by devs a year ago and not fixed. That is some skeevy stuff.
This would be a great game if you could get connected to play it. Only possible to play on a PC or Mac. Constantly having connection issues waited 4 hours for the game to download on to our iPhone and it never did. After removing the game and trying to reload it to our iPhone we could never get it back so we are giving up, very time consuming.
The other reviews have got to be from bots. We have never gotten this app to open twice consecutively with no problems. It will open the first time, but if you close it for even a minute or two to do something else on your phone, and try to go back to it, it just stays on the loading screen. You have to close it and re-open it up every single time. Not a very good design for a game which sole purpose is to have you check back on things.
This game good but it needs flames to any defeated village and the loading screen is taking forever when u play something else then come back after you come back it taking forever or broken and adding flames to any defeated pretty cool please creator of this game please add and fix those so we can play this game.
This game is pay to win. A few players with deep pockets take over whole servers. Would be a fun game if it wasnt a money grab.
Its a really good strategy game, although we do wish some features were added to mobile devices such as choosing which direction to restart in so we dont have to rely heavily on our laptop to restart, but other than that, there is little flaw that we can see that would need fixing. The only other thing we can think of is inno should make more domination worlds(worlds without VP). We also wish there were worlds that you could join that wouldn’t allow crowns to be bought because heavy crowners can get very annoying when everyone starts running out of protection for their second villages and the super large players start getting their academys set up.
Its a truly great game. Has some small bugs every now and then but they are good at fixing them. Requires a scent amount of time but extremely fun. Best strategy game out there.
We have been playing on and off since 2007 when it was only on browsers and it is still a great game with awesome community, highly recommended.
Still has a few glitches, but over all love the game. Lots to do, but patience is a virtue.
We have played many games,Lord Mobile,Game of thrones and many more they all have to spend a lot of money to stay in the game,but this game you can play with the least amount of money Love it and thank you guys for this game.
Its a really fun game but the are so many bugs. You will keep getting disconnected and have to close out of the app to get it to log back in but the game will be awesome when they fix it.
Why do u not get notified of incoming attacks?
Cant use it because it doesnt have the Facebook account connection option.
The game isnt worth the pain of dealing with the endless bugs youll have to push through in the game.
We’ve started about 5 accounts now and every time, the same thing happens; we play it for a week or a month and then one day im logged out of the game, and even though we have a password and our account has been registered, it says the password or username is incorrect. When we try to make a new account wiu the same email, it says an account is already in use by that email. We’ve tried resetting the password, but it always says username or password incorrect. Customer support just keeps asking us to log in and no matter how many times you explain it to them, they just tell you to log in. This would be a good game if it didn’t have so many glitches like this and if customer support would actually be helpful. They clearly arent using the money they make off this game to fix it or support the players. We would not recommend.
No use playing this unless your willing to spends hundreds of dollars to compete.
Way better than the previous tribal wars. They have defiantly improved the game! It’s all you need in a mobile command and conquer.
We came back to Tribalwars2 after 4 years and still the same disappointed. Game its glitches on iPad or iPhone. Costumer Service its horrible, non balance troops it take 3 defensive villages to kill one offense full pack of troops. And we forgot to mention one more its play to win now. If you want to enjoy real tribalwars just go to first one its the best.
The game is great. Never took away from the old TW1 style yet was able to add more to the game. Our only issue is everything done on the pc cant be done on mobile. We personally dont have a pc and can only play mobile. Not home long enough to be on pc. But if that could be improved somehow, that would be great. 5 star for TW2 all in itself though.
We were trying to get on this morning and we had been using Game Center to log in. It didnt log in through Game Center and now Im stuck with either making a new account or just deleting the game. We spent $5 for in game money which Ill never get back either. We tried going to customer support but it just bounces you back and forth from giving your email to retrieve your password to logging in in order to fix the problem.
So much is wrong with this app from crashing to not being able to do a lot of important features. You can not see incoming attacks(idk if that is just me), you click on the timeline then the attack and click go to units but nothing is there. Eventually we get reports. The whole idea of the timeline was a good idea but not implemented well. The whole unit section is faulty. No way to get a good overall unit count, as well as there being no incoming section that allows you to label incoming attacks. We see many deferent faults. Good ideas but just not implemented well with mobile version. We will change review if these important mechanics are fixed. Thanks, Brian.
This game isnt like any other, you can actually work together to takeover other people plus it never gets boring, our only concern is we wish you could boost villas on the phone.
Absolutely pathetic that a game with only a couple thousand people can crash ten times in a row within a couple minutes timeframe. Clearly no money from micro transactions go into actually maintaining the servers, and for a simplistic game like this there is no excuse whatsoever.
We previously played TW1 & TW2 and recently came back to play TW2. We play it on our iPad and have zero issues with crashes. The browser version also works fine and offers additional functionality that you dont get on IOS. The game is free so the devs need to make $ somehow. If you spend $ you have an advantage just like all other games that are freemium. We hope our $ spent to unlock additional build slots carries over to the new world once the current world ends… Thats our concern. The game is fun and engaging IMO. We recommend it highly!
Good game, but the Android app still has a lot of connectivity issues.
We played Tribal Wars on the computer and saw they had added the app to the iPhone. Im not sure about a crashing problem, but there are so many issues with the screens in the game. For example, the troop recruitment screen in the barracks has almost never worked for us. We sent a Trouble ticket with pictures of the issue but they dont have a solution. We have not been able to recruit the ram unit which is critical to the game, the issue still hasnt been fixed from what we’ve seen. You either need to play on computer or pay to purchase units…. We feel the developers are going to a strictly elitist format where either you have a lot of time to sit in front of a computer and play or you pay to win format…………. People playing without money, or an insane amount of time; good luck.
Terrible game, players do whatever they want and justify it by saying its a war game! If you want to get bullied and feel lonely and weak go on and install it. Note: Terrible Support too.

Game crashes every few min and by the look of it nobody is trying to fix it… Its a shames because we liked playing this on our PC.
This game is was fun, but ruined by the game play dynamics. If you arent spending TONS of money this is a waste of your time. Your spend weeks building your castle only to lose it and have to start over. Play forge of empires or dominations…1000% better!!!
We have been play TW for over 10 years.. Could have been a great game like the first TW but they made this one a pay to win game witch absolutely ruins it.. Any player who puts money into the game is at a huge advantage in a game like this and if you dont pay you lose. We understand the need to make money but do it in a way that keeps the game somewhat balanced.. The developers are all about profit witch is too bad.. If your looking to play this game just play the first tw at least the players who put the time and effort into the game are rewarded and not someone who dumps money into the game to be the best.. This game is trash so we wont be wasting our time any longer and will no longer be playing..
We understand that the server need money and stuff. And coin is the way of giving the support, but to allow to coin the wall back to lvl 19-20 in a minute or so that is ridiculous. How people gonna fight like that? A coiner like that need like 2 or 3 time the amount of village and player to take him out. And those players need to be vet. That only if he is fighting alone, if he get his tribe support then you might need 3-6 time the amount of players/ villages to take him out… That just a normal coiner player, and we are not even talking about those that coin their army. This game like this is not worth your time to play. Beside many might bomb us and argues that this is a browser game not a phone game etc etc. But we didn’t mention all the advantage playing in browser vs phone(iPad). If the game change little and not allow the wall to be coined, then this game can be said a strategy game otherwise it is just another game of pay to win. And this game doesn’t really have any update or improvement at all. The game is like this for years!. And all those events is more harmful then not having them. Because it is more beneficial for those coiner, we got one "shoot" per day on the events, but coiner can easily spend 30 coins on extra shoot to get all the prize such as 2 noble, 100 treb, 100 ram, etc etc… All those allow those coiner to summon noble on a village that doesn’t even have academy and conquest your village in a unexpected way… And spam those treb out of from nothing and make your nuke die like fly. There are few things they can improve all those, but they don’t do that.
