Its so funny how easy it is to master this game but never be the best at the game because you dont know where your opponent is or what hes gonna do. Its a small game of chess.

Personally, we REALLY enjoy this game and the competitive vibe. We really enjoy Quick Match mode because it adds more challenge than just a CPU. If we were to add one thing, it would be to have the missions unlock things like free skins or bonus intel that can be put into a match at the start, and the harder the mission, the bigger the reward. We have completed most of the missions, and we think it would be more worth it if there were some kind of reward. Sincerely, A Two Spies fan.

Fun especially in a car with friends.
This is by far the most engaging, polished, and well designed game we've played on mobile. The sound effects are world class and the game design is just about perfect. Wish this game was ten times as popular.
But, can seem rigged sometimes. You can have a player trapped and city is in countdown before being removed from play. Time seems VERY quick say, for us, but opposing player may get 2 full turns when city in countdown. Its inconsistent. Sometimes its fast, sometimes its slow. But, ive noted it working against us consistently. We dont know if its b/c Im high or lower ranked and its seeking to balance the odds or default to letting higher rank stay that way. But, its uncool regardless Love the game generally. Dont like when inconsistencies appear. ** update June 2025: the city-closing countdown is skewed unfairly causing us to lose several matches we couldnt have lost. Seems worse since latest update. Ive played a few games and its been the same each time. Pretty annoying. Its causing us to lose interest in playing because its unfair. And this is one of our favorite games. If youre going to say the clock adjusted negatively for us due to skill level, Ive perpetually lost games we should have won based on cities controlled and position. Im aware of all the tactics and have made it to 00 briefly. It needs to be more balanced. Thanks.
We just downloaded this game and Im already having a blast with it, and Im getting our friends into it. Its very easy to understand even though some things arent really explained, but you an easily figure it out. Our only suggestion would be to add another game mode to have more than 2 people in one match. It would really fun to do a battle royal with our friends, and we really hope they add this.
Games dont last long on our phone but Two Spies has a great depth to it and since youre playing against other people its tremendously satisfying to win.

This is an amazing game – fun, addictive, novel, multiplayer strategy. However, the matchmaking is completely terrible. Unreliable, kicks us out of the lobby 4/5 times, randomly leaves us hanging for 5+ minutes. Will update our review to 5 stars if devs fix the matchmaking.

Not often do we write a review but this game is really well made and we enjoy it alot especially with how quick the rounds are. We normally enjoy playing Risk but the game times can be very long and this is a great alternative when we have little time to play.
We have to play this on our girlfriends iPad because we cant download it on our Samsung Flip.. Smh. Best game.

We love this game play for ur self.
This is such a fun, well made game. There are so many strategies to experiment with. We have been playing for years, we think the only think that could be better is the player base. We think if there was a tournament mode and ads were run to promote the game, the player base could explode.
Gameplay is excellent. Our biggest complaints are the wait times for a match (but what can ya do except hope it becomes more popular!) and the inability to leave the app and do something else and get a notification when the match begins. That would be a great feature that we dont think would be too hard to add.
Its fun, its enticing, youre always on the edge of your seat, are they in our city or not? What will happen? We always find our self in suspense, heart beating, wether did we find them out? Or did they find us out? The only sad problem, which these developers dont have do do anything with this, but we sadly dont see that many people online ): as of now, only 8 are playing the game, which im kinda bummed out because this game is so fun, and we want more people to play! Its hard to find pass and play sometimes but this game has a really good pass and play mode. Fun strategy, easy to learn and its exciting to play with a friend.
If you like easy to learn, hard to master games this one will be right up your alley. Smooth mechanics, engaging game play and perfect for a quick pick up game or an all night binge fest.
This game frustrates the Heck out of us and we love it. Its extremely well done and clever. Its got humor and we love the Harry Mancini Pink Panther Sneak-Strut soundtrack. We just have fun with its puzzly stealth and strike gameplay. Ill watch for more from these designers.
If you like simple, elegant and engaging strategy games, then Two Spies has your six. Its game mechanics offer a variety of cool tactics and a fun experience, whilst the aesthetics are charming and reminiscent of the bleak austerity of the Cold War era. The online connection is generally good, and overall the gameplay and feel is excellent.
Ive had this game for a couple days now, and its pretty fun to play with friends. In our opinion, we think that there should be a few more customization options for free to play players. Like being able to choose your color or maybe having a couple more options like an orange or yellow. Also we think an explanation of some of the game rules could be helpful. Especially for the variants. Other than that, we think that this is a wonderful game that has been really thought out. The effort put into this really shows and Im excited to see where this goes in the future.
Great Game, though we feel like the missions should have some reward for completing them- especially when they take a lot of time to complete.
While this games interface is very simple, it is quite fun once. Our biggest complaint is there are only a handful of human players ever on and so Im constantly forced to play bots.
Could be a really cool game but the play with friend mode doesnt work. Have tried a few times after asking a friend to download and keep getting an error. Also tried to report a bug, but they built it in a way that doesnt allow you to report a bug unless you have Apple Mail installed.
We played quite a few matches and we love the idea. It just seems a little meh. First of all, there were a few VITAL rules of gameplay that were not explained in the tutorial and cause us to lose a few important matches right when we started, so thats frustrating. It also feels like Ive got an understanding on the mechanics and we dont see how it can really evolve from here. Im a little bored with it and Ive only had the app a short time.
An incredible game with addicting gameplay and an enticing simplistic art style, we just wish there was a more detailed replay system and an alternate way to earn pins.

We did wish the maps where bigger so it would be a little harder to find the other spy or multiple different maps with varying sizes of cities but other than that. 5 starts all day. Its an original game.
Game is amazing. Everyone has a suggestion on how to improve, but its great as is. Would like to see more players, such that games online initiate more quickly, and would be great to see a global leaderboard to see how you stack up against the best in the world, but the game itself is perfect. Sometimes takes more effort and ingenuity to maintain discipline and simplicity when everyone wants a slew of new features. Bottom line to new players, dont set it aside after a few rounds. Learn the rules and strategy with the bot and then move to online to hone your skills. There are nuanced strategies when you play the higher level players that make the game one of kind. Great job Two Spies makers, keep it up.
One of the most fun games Ive ever played, with elements of both strategy and luck. Definitely more on the niche side though. Expect queue times of ~1 minute during peak hours, going upwards of 5 minutes during off-peak hours. Would strongly recommend trying it out. Graphics are also really nice, being reminiscent of the cold war spy era.
We downloaded this a while back only to just delete it because we thought it was boring but after trying again, we really loved it. We would def recommend this game to fans of Risk and strategy games, but give it a bit of patience and focus.

The only issue is that there is some difficulty when trying to connect with friends.

This game is the very definition of easy to pick up, hard to master. Its a true battle of wits and has NO ADS which we love! We think the developers could definitely make the game more expansive with different game modes and/or ways to play. We hope they stand their ground with no ads, it makes the game feel very high quality and polished, not some moneymaking scheme to get rich. The sound design and aesthetic stick to this 90s spy film style which is consistent through the game and gives the game life. The developers clearly care about this game and it has good bones, it just needs some more meat.

The perfect game to play with your girlfriend lying in bed for some quick fun.
The game depends on others being online as well to go against you. The community needs to grow and there needs to be events/tournaments to create more activity and more interaction.
