The thing we love the absolute most about this well built game is the story with the cutscenes and tapes, just perfect. We love it when nitrome makes a game with a story, Im just surprised this doesnt have price, this would be worth every penny.
Theres a glitch in the letters on the letter b it keeps shaking if we are wrong please correct us.
Bruh we just noticed that the slow down power up is actually a pill or drug, that makes everything seem slower. This is not a complaint. Im just saying that we love the effect and the power up please dont change it.

The game is really well build. With its quirky music and game mechanics, its a good time killer. But the lack of items, characters, stages and story really hurt the game for us. Would have loved if there were more tapes to continue the story. More items would also be good and more stages. Overall, its a really good game thats going to keep you entertained for some time, but after that youll find it boring and repetitive.
We verified that we made the purchase a few years ago and upon reinstalling it and restoring purchases, Im still presented with ads and ad related options. The game is a ton of fun and worth the cost to remove ads but currently the fraudulent no ads purchase is very problematic.

Every game that was made by Ntrome it wouldn't let us play it may let us tap a few times then it just takes us of the game. But we did get to play a 100% of the game until we got of then get back on. But it is awesome tho.

We just dounloaded this game today and we love it.Its so easy to unlock careicktars we've already unlocked Sammy in the same hour we dounloaded thins game love it it's our new favorite game.
So when u buy everything in the store the game seems very pointless but the game is really fun. We need more updates.
This is a cute little game you got here and it could be better if you could increase the drop rate of coins and energy balls and if you could add stuffed animals to the mix and a boss would be really great.
Easy to unlock all items/characters for free (it takes time for everything, but nothing crazy excluding the last heart which is difficult but not essential) great pixel graphics no lag, if you don't like ads just turn off your wifi very addicting, music never gets old downside: once you have all characters at max level, all items and the stages it gets boring. You will get up to 6 minutes surviving and then get bored and set it aside until the next update. Suggestions: add more characters and maybe add stages where you can jump onto platforms and stuff.
We'd love to give it 5 stars, but it keeps crashing on our iPhone 6. Please fix.

There is a balance between games like this being not too simple so that it is entertaining. We thought if we want to play a 'boring' style game, it shouldn't have so much fire and brightness in our eyes too. We don't know, maybe we're just weird like that.
NOT impressed. Running to avoid bombs dropping from the sky?! Who thought of this…someone from a war-torn country? Ridiculous.

Success in this game is basically up to the RNG. It's usually very easy, and then sometimes you get completely trapped with no escape available. Basically, restart over and over until you get friendly levels generated late in your run. This game is good stylistically, but the gameplay is mediocre.
We had a lot of fun grinding out and getting everything for this game but now that we're done with it we want to delete it. When we try to delete it our phone freezes and crashes.
This looked promising, but you have to watch a 30 second ad or pay money to keep playing after.each.death. No thanks.
Game crashes every time we load up to the start screen had the game going once then consistently crashed for maybe 5 times till o was fed up and deleted the app. Please patch crashing.
We love the game for many for many of the same reasons others have shared. We didn't mind spending a little to get a boost (just noting this to say we felt invested enough to spend something). Suggestions: 1) High contast background – we don't have low vision but an option to make the background a flat neutral color or fade it will go a long way for everyone. Those glowing shots are a nightmare to track. 2) Double tap Glissant slide – Swiping down to slide feels really awkward. It would be much easier to perform with a simple double tap on the left or right. (Also, we're having a hard time understanding Glissant. Is he supposed to be a "hard mode" character? We get the vibe that it's for players who want to focus on skill alone. However the slide is only good in very very niche situations given how important precise movement is. If that's what you were shooting for, yay? We're still trying to get his video D:).
Sooo, we were playing this game because we like challenges with quick reflexes and dodging, first time playing….sorta reminded us of Contra, but without as much shooting and more dodging, which we love.
TL;DR This is a game you really should play if you love chiptune music, retro graphics, and bullet-hell gameplay. Long Review First off, let us start with one major thing: This game has never crashed on us. Not once. This is already the mark of a great game, if you ask us. At first, we didn't think this game would be good, because of its low reviews. However, we soon realized that this game was one of the greatest apps we have ever played! STORY Look, if you're searching for a game with a compelling story, you won't get it here. The plot is simple and to the point, but still engaging enough to immerse you into the game. GAMEPLAY If you are looking for a new bullet-hell to play, look no further! With its tight controls and randomized bomb patterns, it quickly becomes an addictive game. We must say, it takes a little too long to collect coins, though. MUSIC This has some of the greatest music we have ever heard from an app, period. Paid or free. This says a lot, and if you're not in it for the story or gameplay, stay for the music. It's fantastic, even up to the death jingle. *Please come out with the game soundtrack, we will gladly buy it GRAPHICS we have desperately been looking for a decent game with pixel graphics, so they can give the kind of retro feel. This turned out to be just that, with smooth animations and little snippets of cutscenes before gameplay. CONCLUSION Fantastic work, devs! You really should get more recognition for this game. And to you, the app downloader-even if none of this intrigues you, just play it once. You can always delete it, but we are almost certain you will want to keep it. Thanks for your time.
This game is a lot of fun. It's unique in the way it plays out. Lots of power ups easily attainable if you have a little patience. We hope they come up with more areas..the alley and football field are all we know of.
Is been years that we have our Apple account and we never had rate any game or app…is so freaking addictive that we have to play almost all day ! The only thing that we would do, is increasing randomness that health fall from sky, still great game. Keep adding stages, characters and miscellaneous.
Great game! We love Ultimate Briefcase!! Great animation, Cool Backstory, and not to Hard! However there should be more characters.. We unlocked everything in one day (took like 6 hours) we think if you do add new characters then you should add that Robber guy, and a robot. Anyways AWESOME game we definitely recommend it for people with a bunch of spare/free time on their hands. 4 Stars.
This app is really great and fun. However, there is a few bugs: 1. When you fill up the energy bar more than once but not quite twice and use your power up, it resets the bar back to zero instead of staying filled up because of the second time filling it(might not be a glitch) 2. Also, it once gave us a invalid rotation error when we went to the home screen and back again. 3. Also the Game Center won't work. Other than that, it could tell you that to use power up lv. 2 you have to fill up the bar twice, but it's still a great and really fun app.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE IF YOU ARE RECEIVING A FATAL ERROR MESSAGE A FEW DAYS AFTER DOWNLOADING. We PLAYED THIS GAME FOR 3 DAYS BEFORE A FATAL ERROR MESSAGE POPPED UP AND CRASHES. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?!?!? We CANT PLAY THIS GAME ANYMORE.

We love this game! It is very fun and addictive. It is probably our new favorite app ever (no joke). The only thing is that when we watch an ad to respond the game tends to freeze 40% of the time. Anyway this is awesome and we'd recommend it to anyone.
This game reminds us of how we are living in Syria. Promise us, we play this game in real life :/.

We enjoyed every second of this game and hope that it will continue to be updated and expanded. A few bugs were encountered here and there, but we still had a lot of fun.
So, we recently got the game. And it's super addictive. But it's WAY to hard. The ball things that split in 4 smaller ones when it hits the ground is way to hard to dodge especially when they keep coming with missiles falling. They end up covering Half the map and the dude isn't fast enough to get outta the way. The freeze time power ups need timers on them as well because they'll just kill us. And the special powers should destroy everything on the screen if gotten to the 3rd bar filled as with Radley we instantly died. Other than these the game is good with the exception of it freezing once.
Better than the first! One heart away from completing the game 100% :) Just please fix Game Center – one of the main reasons we download games.
Great addictive arcade game! Our biggest complaint is the lack of iCloud sync of progress to play on iPad at home then iPhone when commuting.
This is a great little game, and thoroughly enjoyable. The little story that plays out in cutscenes as pieces are unlocked is simple but delightful. One fixed needed: the latest update said that landscape mode was fixed, but it is not. The button for your ultimate ability blocks the view of your character and the ground, making it hard to avoid obstacles. It really hinders landscape mode, yet this game is much better played in landscape. Looking forward to the fix.
Fun game to play on the toilet, but freezes sometimes.
Fantastic little game, as is usual for Nitrome. But, we're a bit disappointed. We payed for the 5k coins in support (and wanted to get all characters and power-ups), but that didn't automatically remove the ads. Then we noticed the seperate IAP to remove ads for $4….?! It's not the money but the principle that we have an issue with. If we're spending more than the IAP that removes the ads, that should remove the ads automatically. Come on guys and gals, we love and support all your games, but this is a low blow. We hope the game is updated to remove ads for those of us that already bought an IAP.
GREAT game! But the update still hasn't fixed our 6 Plus' landscape view.
Love the game over all, Nitrome you have done very well, but when you upgrade the heroes ability to level 2 or 3 are they suppose to change or just stay the same but waists coins…lol try to fix that.
Helps pass the time, but it could definitely use some new things in the shop after you get the points to get things.
