We wanted to try this out since it got so popular and we understand why. Out of all the gacha games Ive played, this one is one you can play entirely for free. Every other gacha game either baits you or forces you to buy items or currency for characters that are relevant for one time. But here, not only do you get the most popular character first but the game actually makes you train the lower ranked ones before you move on and try to get higher ranked ones. This game does have a lot to it though. Its pretty complicated and when you start its extremely intimidating with all of that stat info, but the more you play the more you understand, then thats when it gets interesting. Im addicted to haru!! Help.

It takes a while to understand everything, we had a horrible start on our first acc then we made a steam one and got it right make sure you read and pay attention watch a video, its discouraging when you feel stuck but its amazing to pour time into we have a lot of fun on here and hope to have even more once its more updated. We believe they have another version thats way way more far along then global so seeing global get to that point will be very fun.
We are absolutely in love with this game! Its so fun and addicting! The gacha rates can be a little bad sometimes tho. But LUCKILY devs set up the most spectacular events with goodies to help us out.
This is honestly the most fun and replayable gacha game ever. Its a roguelike. The races always feel intense. The runs are always different thanks to how many variables there are in a game. On top of that, theres a ton of different goals and gimmicks that make each round different if you want them to be. We just really love this game. Its hard to explain but its fun.

The animation on this game is 10/10 and super smooth and character design in nice and it give us a dragalia Nintendo vibe so it be good on switch.
Rogue-lite slice of life racing game with real horse names and tracks from the Japanese horse racing scene. Lots of addictive innocent fun to be had with this game. New favorite.

We played this game on launch simply because us and our friends thought it would be funny if we played the game but after playing it id have to say it broke our expectations and we actually play this game consistently.
Ive been a huge fan of Umamusume for quite a few years now so we might be extremely biased, but we love this game. This long awaited game is everything we hoped for. If you like challenging gameplay that requires a lot of grinding this is perfect. The songs, visuals, and umas are the main appeal and the developers are actively working on catching global up to Japans servers. Sometimes forget its a mobile game with how much effort we have to put in, but its really worth it. Bakushin Bakushin.
Im enjoying this game a lot so far. It is a bit of a pay to win in terms of the PvP and could be a huge money sink, but we think the game is still fun just raising cute horse girls and seeing their stories. That being said, the global release is essentially the Eng version of the game. We do wish it had more language options like Spanish, Chinese, etc. To really represent the Global community. It would be nice to be able to switch to already existing language versions as well, such as Japanese and Korean instead of just English since they definitely have those options available.
Typical Japanese game getting us interested in something we never thought we'd care about: the Japanese Derby. Gold Ship, our beloved, your are truly an inspiration to us all.
The game is a rougelite incremental where you race cute horse girls. The gameplay is very fun and if this were an actual paid game this would be in our top 5 games, the gacha and pay 2 play aspect does hold it back unfortunately. Progression is walled off on the use of the energy system, character unlocks are limited to the gem system which is earned in a similar manor to others of the genre. The stories/careers feel fun to play.
This game seems fun to play, but the only problem is that it wont let you play if you have too much storage. We had to delete a lot of our default apps saved onto our device in order to play a game that we might not even have for long.
We want to love this game but its honestly too confusing. The horse girls are too fussy and youll have to dig into guides or wikis if you plan to win. That may be fun for some but this is a mobile game we just want to log in, turn our brain off, and have fun. That being said the characters & interactions are unmatched which will truly make us miss not being able to play this. We try following the in game guides and raise whats recommended yet every single time come up short in 2nd or 3rd place as the races get harder. Im sure over time once you acquire more skill cards it gets easier but training is a lot deeper than Id personally like. Still a great game give it a go.
Another decent game hampered by greed. New character banners dont last long. The game is stingy with pull resources.
Game isnt bad but it does feel greedy prices feel high pity doesnt carry over so its very much a p2w.

If you dont reroll and try to play honestly as a free to play player, youre gonna realize you accomplished nothing after every 30 of game time. Youll realize everything comes down to the gacha pulls for support cards and eventually swipe or dispair. This is less of a game and more of a dating simulator where the more money you put in, the more likely youll get the happy ending of becoming number one horse racer.
We keep seeing this on our ads and we think hey this actually looks fun but when we got the game and was verifying the age was so confusing it was something like 11901 what we dont know what thats means we just want to try the game the age verification is to much.
We seen it and we want to play it, but everytime we start it it says connection error. Im on WiFi with a iPhone16 pro. Idk might be bc Im in South Korea but we play multiple other anime games perfectly fine we gave up and Ill try again sooner or later.
We played Umamusume for over 16 hours across two days. Thats a lot of time! We want to like it, but Umamusume either doesnt give value for our time/money, has too much randomness, and/or has a big balance issue between SSR cards. The gameplay loop is repetitive & roguelike with a lot of decision making about statistics. After 16 hours of gameplay, supplemented with online researching statistics and $200: our account with at least 2 SSR cards could not complete a finale race. We decided to make a second account and reroll for the holy grail SSR card Fine Motion which took maybe 10 minutes. The second accounts first ever career run 100% completed the finale with just that 1 SSR and 5 other level 1-30 cards. This means either the game has too much career/race randomness that negates competent decision making or a huge imbalance between SSR cards strength. And we have never played a game where you spend $200 on transactions and feel like your account gained no net strength or progression until Umamusume. We wish we never spent money on the game and just wait until our second account.
It doesnt let u in no matter how many times u keep putting in ur birthday month n year! Hope this really reaches out to the company to fix this huge problem.
These horse girls did well on training but sometimes the game ragebaits us of getting failure at 1% but we still play it because its very fun and adding at a same time 5 star.
Why is the game 18+ when there is no real sexual content or nudity.
Training a horse girl to race n see her race is the best feeling ever.
We were really frustrated at first with this game and was going to uninstall by the halfway point. Because we felt like this was becoming like Genshin Impact and how Hoyoverse treats its fanbase like garbage because off course our opinion doesnt matter unless its to be their dog and roll over and obey. We were treated so badly there that we wanted to enjoy this because we love the anime. But boy was some of the career runs so frustrating. And the pull rates be double up on useless SSR cards that are worthless. Then the half anniversary comes and totally redeems itself. They listen to us and made it a new game. The meta has changed and JP players can enjoy an old but new style too. Truly we are being treated better here than that garbage company Hoyo. We are glad that this company understands its fanbase frustration and treats them as human beings. Given in the end it is still a pay to win but its at least fair enough with the generous gifts that you can win as a F2P and get your favorite uma Teio best girl.
Cool anime game, very fun and fast.
Title. We downloaded it because the advertising and we had never seen the anime before but this game made us want to watch the anime and appreciate it way more! Theres a bit of a learning curve but its still fun and silly.
Way better than blue lock world champion bc u actually get to do something other than train and very interactive.
The option to play as a female trainer is great, we like all the characters, and its a very fun game.
When looking at support cards in this game, it really takes a while to uncap a card you want but in order to do so youd have to scout for them. As a free to play player that doesnt use cash, we would love at least a type of optional resource that can be used as an alternative to uncap support cards besides scouting copies.
