They should make the original adventure quest worlds available on iOS. We know they can do it because they have already made an upgraded version available. Also all you have to do right now is download a flash browser and you can play it quite easily so they should just make an app.
The ‘Hunt 4 Hulking Abominations’ Quest doesn’t work at all…
How in the lords eternal realm was right about making such a wonderful game.
At this point all these years later we will never see a fix for any of the bugs or glitches or lag issues. For what its worth, this game could be fun for a couple minutes every few months until you remember why you stopped playing it.
The game almost seems unfinished: Pros: – cool idea – Integration of artix into a runner -nice graphics/armors Cons: -the controls are clunky and lag -it seems like there isn’t a very well defined hit box for the controls so sometimes they don’t even work -the game seems to randomly decide you got hit, we time our attacks where the enemy is so far away, and sometimes we get hit, other times we don’t for no discernible reason. -the screen is very dark so it can be difficult to see smaller obstacles and projectiles. -very much designed for you to buy the X3 pet to get enough gold to do anything. Overall it seems like they never had anyone test it, or ignored them if someone did. We really wanted to like it, but it’s just not fun when you can’t predict when you’re going to get hit.
This game is just sad. It just another run an slash with horrible controls stiff movement and crappy graphics although we like the art this game is just really really bad.
We’ve had a lot of fun playing this game. We’ve been playing it for a long time(since it came out), and we just encountered our first bug! Our paladin ran past the gate… And fell down an endless cliff. There was even a smile trail! But, we don’t know how else to report the bug, and we haven’t yet made a review for this truly awesome game. So, here we am!
We have downloaded this game several times and the tutorial continues to fail to allow us to use the ultimate ability. Sometimes we just fall straight down. It’s ok though, we know AE is extremely busy with AQ3D and its Kickstarter. This game is at the bottom of their list. We’re giving them 5 stars because it looks like they put a lot of effort into the game. Hopefully, they will fix these bugs some time in the future.
All else we think this needs would be a way to earn the aqw rewards and not buy it and an alternate artix with the grimblight of destiny.
The buttons themselves work, but nothing happens. Artix continues to run and the cycle of dying and ads continue. If this could be fixed, it could be bumped up to 5-star. ()
We don’t like it when we get a quest but don’t have the armor for it.
We died in the tutorial because we couldn’t figure out what to press when it said the special attack thing so we died and when we restarted our character got back to the same spot an there were no skulls to collect so little Artix just ran for awhile and eventually the ground stopped and he ran off the map and fell into nothingness.
See, this was a good game in the beginning. Then, after we got out of the tutorial, the attack and jump buttons stopped working! We are going to keep this game for now, but if this doesn’t get fixed soon, we will delete it. GO AQ.
We are a huge fan of dragonfable and aqworlds, but please fix the buttons error! The buttons don’t work or let us jump or attack. Then we’ll switch to five stars thanks :)
The game is fun when it wants to work but only when it wants to work. We’ve seen a couple game breaking bugs with the game that stop progression. One the is extremely notable about this game is a chance for Artix to randomly fall into the map or not have a map to walk on in the first place. We don’t know if it’s a gameplay aspect or something but it pretty much keeps Artix, the playable character, alive without any effort. Please Artix Entertainment, fix some of these bugs and the game would be awesome sauce!!! By the way, keep on working out Artix, got to get the gains man!
This game is very bugy and at this moment is unplayable, but with it being made by artix it will be fixed. Look for an update after this review to find it when it is hopefully playable.
It could be a really fun game, but when we push the buttons they don’t do anything attic just keeps running into everything. Also in the second game we played the path was cut off and we just fell out of the world?! We continuously fell for about 5 minutes until we stopped it. We stopped playing there so pleeezzz fix! It has a lot of potential.
We died on tutorial then after we redid it we feel into a hole and got stuck there forever.
We’ve been playing AE games since 2011 and we were honestly expecting something more entertaining. This game is just an attempt at an addicting mobile game with laggy controls and extremely boring concept. The only good reason to download this game and actually spend money on it is to get the unlockable armor set in AQW.
We want to like this game but we can’t play it. We can’t attack or jump for some reason, please patch it.
This game has so many bugs its sad.
We love the games AE make on computer, but this one really really needs some work, we can’t attack the undead, and we collect items with no undead coming at us and then suddenly we fall off a cliff that has no end, please fix.
We dont recommend this company to anyone. We played the game for 2 minutes and its bugged. AE is one of a kind company that does not allow players to exploit glitches in their games, they will ban you or mute you if you attempt to do as much as talk about glitches, and ask you to report it to bug tracker, yet they have the worst bug patching team ever. We do NOT recommend Adventure Quest, Adventure Quest World, or any of their games.
This game is worse than sonic 06 you can’t even play it because it just glitches on you worst game ever.
We can’t play a decent run we’ll either glitch through the map and fall for ever, also the buttons don’t work and can’t hit or jump. Needs work.
AE should just stick to PC mmos, cause this game was literally the biggest disappointment they have ever made!
On first look, the game seemed fun. Sadly, it’s horribly broken. We would recommend the devs put a lot of time into fixing it.
Title says it all. Started tutorial, our game bugged nothing spawned so we ran the entire level then fell off the map. 10/10.
The game is great… However it feels like it is still in development. It has great potential A lot of the other reviews already stated the bugs. We will state things that would improve the game. -clicking the skull to end instantly instead of waiting for the circle. -lighten up the game a bit. It’s too dark to see all the traps and things that could kill us. -more friendly interface(not less skills but easier and simpler to navigate, it feels too crammed. ). Fix the bugs and you get four stars maybe five. Update the other things and you get 5. Kind of sad this game hasn’t been updated in two months. AE is failing with this one.
It allows you to press on the buttons, but it doesn’t do anything!!! Can’t jump or hit!!! Outrageous if you ask us!!!

We got this game when it game out and purchased the special 3x package to unlock gear in aqw after numerous attempts to link our acc and all the latest updates we still can’t even link it… We don’t recommend getting this game right now and we usually love AE games.

Okay we try logging in and is specifically says "IOS receipt fail" so does that mean the game is failing to recognize we’ve purchased the 3x thingy for 5 dollars… I’d love if you could fix this error so we can redeem our badge on Adventure Quest Worlds. Our in game name is ftrhty.
AE outdid all their previous mobile games. We still can’t link our account after the update.

We think the games great but it has a few bugs such as sometimes after a run you have to reopen the game to run again or one of the ads doesn’t have the exit button at the end but overall its an amazing game easy five star if those were fixed!
Still won’t let us link our aq account to it so we can get the armor and achievement from it! When is this getting fixed???
The app is still not functioning well. Can’t link the account to aqw, restored the app purchase. We’re not wasting another five dollars to "maybe" fix it.
We got the multiplier the day this game comes out and have waited to get our special item. The new update had us excited but when the update was finished we got on to the app and it erased our purchase and the restore purchase is not working. We are really mad and you will be too do not buy the multiplier. AE we have our receipt too so you can’t say crap.
Even after update they still haven’t fixed the issue with the badge.
