Unsolved Case is a co-op puzzle game that requires players to communicate and work together. It is the free prequel to the popular ‘Cryptic Killer’ series.
Dip your toes in and go back to where it all began as you team up in two as detective duo Old Dog and Ally, up against the Cryptic Killer. For the first time in the series, you’ll encounter a labyrinth of puzzles and challenges laid by one of the most devious minds in the world. Solve puzzles, crack codes, and find a way out.

Unsolved Case is a free game for two players to complete in 30-60 minutes. In this puzzle game, you’ll get a taste of the mystery to come over the 5-part Cryptic Killer series.
THE PREQUEL
Years ago the twisted Cryptic Killer was put away behind bars at the infamous Anagram Asylum. But today, he’s back, and he’s taunting the detectives. Did they catch the wrong guy, or are they looking at a copycat killer?
A new lead arrives in the form of a mysterious locked box. Delivered direct to their addresses, detectives Ally and Old Dog are once again sent on a chase that’ll challenge them unlike any case before. Explore new locations, crack codes, and unravel the mystery. In this prequel, you’re invited to step into the detective’s shoes and return to where it all began.
THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAPE IS TO WORK TOGETHER
Two minds are better than one, and the only way you’ll be able to crack the Cryptic Killer’s codes is by working together. Through separate screens, you and a friend will be given half of a puzzle at each location. Communicate, collaborate, and work together to push your puzzle-solving skills to the limit.

Unsolved Case Review
The game is very cool and interesting. But there is one thing but add subtitles and Russian language and many levels.
Just finished this with our friend and we absolutely loved it, this is a MUST to play with friends, extremely fun, intriguing and challenging, cant wait for part 2 to come out!!

Our best-friend and we recently played this game, it came up as a recommended app to play and Im SO glad she came across it. First, we want to mention, we havent downloaded a single game on our phone in maybe 6 years or so, never really found them exciting or honestly worth it because we tend to be impatient haha, we started playing and soon found ourselves getting super into it, we brought out scratch paper to keep notes, we moved to sit on the same couch as her just so we can work together to figure out the puzzles. This game really made us think, we cant remember the last time we really put myself in a challenging situation, online or real life so it felt nice to play as detective for the night and put reality to the side. When we finished the game, we both shared a look of disappointment because it was over, we wish we couldve kept playing for a bit longer because it really brought her and we together for the night. Anyways, we really look forward to what else you have in store for co-op games, we miss the feeling already and wish we could play this for the first time again. Great job!
We need the full version it was so much fun we were so sad that it ended we need more games like this.
Our girlfriend and we played this as a fun little couples game while she was away sick and it was fun! We loved that it was ad free and it was just a fun way to be on the phone with each other and get to spend time together! We cant wait to see what comes next!

We think its a great game for roadtrips since its short yet entertaining, but we do wish it was longer. Overall a good story, great voice actors and good riddles!
There is no prevention of skipping a puzzle when players accidentally hit the passcode correctly, which makes it very unsatisfying.
Love the game but we wish you could save a round with the person you are playing with. You have to play the game all in one sitting or you will restart every time.
The game stops half way through. So sad.
Us and our friend tried to have a silly goofy time but when we tried escape with lasers and glass it kicked us out. We want our time back.
The rating is not about the game , its more about the fact that You said you will release a longer version in the Q1 of 2023 yet were in the start of Q2 and nothing is out :/kinda disappointed.
It was cool and all but that was it??? Definitely needs more parts because we ended up beating it in 5 minutes! Seriously not worth it if youre looking for a long term type of game. Ugh.

Tried to play with our fianc and it kept failing to join. Pretty crazy to have a game designed for co-op and have connectivity issues.
People hyped us up about this game but Im sorry us and our friend found it boring because we kept using hints and its no point of the game and its short PEOPLE HYPED US UP FOR BASICALLY NO REASON AT ALL.
Super fun for all 2 min of gameplay. Waste of space on our phone thanks.

Our sister and we enjoyed the demo! It was amazing! The voice acting could be a little more natural for Ally. The accent is really heavy and hers words are over-enunciated. But otherwise the art and puzzle design was great.
This game is really fun and different than the typical puzzle escape games. We would LOVE another chapter.

Our twin lives across the country and we played through this game today, so much fun. We went ahead and played through another game of yours but this was by far our favorite. So excited for the full version.

The only negative comment is that it had to end! Us and our wife were scrambling to find the clues to solve the puzzles. We need to know when the full edition posts and if we can expect more games like this in the future! Really enjoyable and very rewarding when solved. Nothing too complex but we would not mind a harder version in the future!

Its only half completed, but the design of this game is amazing. Clever puzzles and nicely done story board. Had fun playing this with a friend, hope to play the full version soon!
Us and our friend loves slicing the riddles and puzzles together but we wanted to play for a while but it stops like half way through. We like thats its free and has no adds but we want to see what happens next.
