Youre given 4500 UPX, but theres no properties available for sell less than that. Most of the properties prices are Available on Web come to find out thats buying properties with USD. Its not a game. Dont waste your time.
Had a lot of fun in Upland. We made some bad mistakes in the beginning. A few YouTube videos later. Im making that sceila forreala in da hotala.
Its a blast! Just be patient and play several small instances a day.

Saw this on a tiktok Ad thought we would download itI am disappointed to say the least. Very confusing game but we did learn that In order to move forward in the game your going to have to pay real USD money to get ahead. Buy properties is a nightmare because everything is sold already. If you do come across a property that is for sale you wont be able to buy it unless youre an Uplander. You cant get to uplander unless you buy properties so thats forcing you to pay real USD for coins. The money conversion is horrible for $99 USD you get 10,000 coinsmost properties range from $50k to $1,000,000+. So after signing up we deleted the app immediately this game isnt fun and is a waste of time lol.

Great game to play while riding in a car or when youre bored at home. Can keep you distracted for long periods of time! Also has the potential to make money while you play a game! Crazy awesome.
Takes a min to learn but overall great way to pass some time.
Not a fan right now as it makes make log in every couple days or else we get hit with a cap. To help upland, heres an idea to pivot. Allow players to be mayors and do the hard labor of setting up the map and streets, and reward mayors with UPX based on taxes raised from traveling fees within the cities. This adds an entrepreneurial aspect that will make the game fun, as the mayors would invite people to make cafes and add value to their towns. Add a democratic council to allow residents to boot a mayor whose bad and get democratically elected. Interesting concept.
In addition of being a poorly developed and absolutely non entertaining game, it is also pushes political beliefs on you.
We get on occasionally to check our properties and collect our Upx. We get around 2k a month. They have added a cap so that we have to get on before it hits 500 or we lose Upx. We know you want to keep players on the game but making them login just to collect shows us your not here for the players your here just for money. Will be selling everything and deleting.
Been playing for years at this point. Upland has constantly made decisions to line their own pockets while devaluing player purchases. To top it all off if you have a time sensitive issue, good luck. Customer service will get to it, eventually we guess. Doesnt really do you any good when their is constant bugs/technical issues on a platform that rewards you for being first. Preparation is irrelevant on the player side because system issues will just screw you over. If it wasnt for layer 2 games upland would be long dead. It appears they are even trying to screw that up at this point.

We love the concept of this game. Where it keeps your head and of course what sold us is that its done on the blockchain. We tried to play this for a long time, giving it many chances but Im out now. Its simply too difficult to advance without paying real money.

Nothing but another Metaverse scam. They changes the payouts after you spend money based on a rule system they later change. This is called breach of contract in the real world. Building up your properties takes money and time and yields zero advantage. Cars still have no purpose other than a terrible and pointless racing game. Total scam. And most recently the capping of money you can make on properties without logging in is a total rip off. We thought at the very least we could just sit back and make UPX and hope they figured out something useful for this sub Metaverse game. But no, now instead of making innovative game play that gets people to stay active they simply penalize you for not checking in enough. Which is a total violation of the agreement when the properties were purchase. Making an agreement and taking money only to completely change the agreement unilaterally later? Criminal and sad. Again, you want more daily users? Make a better game. But then again the developers dont care as this was clearly a scam from the start. We suspect a class action lawsuit would have come but seeing as they are Ukraine based and therefore not subject to our laws theyll get away with it. Dont be a sucker, move on.
Just to be clear, if you purchase their token, UPX then purchase anything in game with it then try to sell that same thing for USD you will lose money. This game grew on the backs of hackers using their knowledge to gain an unbalanced advantages to screw over new and unknowing users. We warned the community that this would drive away users, and it did. Then they modified their economic rules and rewards. We warned the community that this would crash the secondary market, and it did. Upland uses log in bonuses (not even worth the time spent logging in) to manipulate their daily active users data. Probably to convince investors to finance them and corporate partners to join them. (My guess) we did very well on this platform because we got in early but the good days are gone and not coming back. Its a supply and demand issue and Upland inflates the supply without any efficient marketing efforts to increase the demand. In the end Upland encouraged the hackers to screw the other players to build the platform and now the market is dead. RIP Upland. Play (invest) if you want. Im just trying to share our knowledge and experience so you can make an informed decision.
Oh and if u miss a day on Spark claim u miss the entire week. Pretty stupid. Waste of time and money.
TLDR: Dont. Im the type of person that will login daily for a year for very little in return. With this app, you stand to make about $0.04/year, but only after several thousand consecutive logins. Three things at play here: 1) Go ahead and buy a property, but no one else wants it and cashing out (presumably at an enormous loss) is not feasible. 2) You must get 10k points or else they will restart your profile and take away your points. The daily login bonus only lasts for about 2 weeks, which will put you at about 6k points. Then you get about 1 point per day from your property that is 100% illiquid. That means in about 4,000 days you can stand to make $0.00 per day. 3) There used to be a daily mini game that you could get like 30 points from if youre lucky. They just made that game impossible, leaving the 1 point per day the only source of income. The offline points eventually cap and after 7 days of inactivity your profile is restarted. In short, Id like to congratulate the developers for recognizing their project will never work out, and responding by scamming all of their users/investors. We wanna be in on the next Ponzi scheme!!
This game started out cool, but after playing for years, its very clear the developers dont care at all about the community or making a cool product. To call this a game is extremely generous. We understand things take time, so theres a little leniency there, but the management team has shown over and over again they dont care about the community at all. Many of been blocked from social media and discard for simply bring up issues. Unethical business that no one should support. Looking at you, Dirk.
On our down time Im now entertained by a really great game. The plus side it feels like your really buying property.
We dont understand how to cash out any money and the property is ridiculously high to purchase. We had a couple properties and joined when they first started but never understood there platform with EOS crypto. Just deleted our account.
If you think that you can get your investment back from this platform, think again. This is a one-way stream. No one would buy your properties. Maybe if you give them away dirt cheap. And they keep adding more properties to make sure theres no added value. And then if you want to get your money out, you cant! You have to download another app for that. And then this app would ask you to email them copies of your personal information! Which is totally not right. All safe platforms have a portal for uploading that info. So yeah, theyll get money but you can never get it back. This is what happens when the government doesnt understand the technology and theres no supervision. It will.
Been here since they started and watched the growth. They are rapidly expanding internationally and are now adding tons of layer 2 functionality and games providing more utility.
Logging in is a problem. Collecting upx doesnt work. Too many issues with basic usage. Logging on after resetting password doesnt work.
Cool concept and pretty well executed, but the game seems to get worse. We have been playing for almost 2 years non consistently because thats just how long it takes to make a profit. The addition of an earnings cap really defeats making profits off of properties, making you have to spend real money. There are plenty of different cities to buy properties in but the money making strategy doesnt work.

We live in Alabama. The closest property for us to buy or mess with is Nashville Tenn. There is not even 1 property to buy in Alabama. Missippippi, Georgia, and several other states. Thats why we give it a 1 star and deleting game.
Capped how much UPX can be collected??? Been using this app since it came out then dont get on for several weeks at a time and just saw we could only collect 400upx and missed out on several thousand. Ridiculous when you spend real money on the game to just steal it like that for not logging in.
This game is nothing but trash. If you dont wanna put money in, you better log in every 5-6 days or they repossess your land its just a push for money they will even tell you that on YouTube videos and if you ask for support.. Then they bombard you with email when you DUMP the game in the trash where it belongs GL OUT THERE PLAYERS AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME..
