Set a decade after the events of Valiant Force, we return to the realm of Arathos as it is once again thrown into chaos.

Hooked and consistent content, this is what keeps bringing us back to play everyday.
Nice graphics and quality story with strategic yet simple gameplay.
Go through the story and events and you get enough resources for free summons.
Game heats your phone up incredibly fast to a point where it just feels like you are holding a mini oven in your hands. Sometimes the game can freeze, or animations completely break. Those are currently the more major problems right now. Otherwise, enjoy the game if youd like.
Very insane level cap for example our characters we control are level 20 and there fighting a boss at level 26 and we cant further them until we eliminate the boss so we can gain access to the airship please fix this devs not sure how it was allowed but kinda stupid play on your part.
We were a massive fan of Valiant Force. So when it shut down we were really bummed, and when we heard Valiant Force 2 was coming out, we were so excited. Unfortunately it is very disappointing. Good thing first: the new link system and battle system is quite fun, but also not really something that would draw us in long term, at least not by itself. The story is drawn out and so very boring, so much so that we started skipping shortly into the game. We tried to re-engage with the story but it just got nowhere. And then suddenly Valiant Force 2 is just another gacha game with a single draw and everything else is bland. The upgrade systems are uninspiring and there is no real sense of achievement or us wanting to strive for something. It is just a chore playing the game. The art at a glance is nicer than v1, but character-wise, looks like a downgrade. Specifically the SSR characters. Freya is one of the worse examples. Ironically the lower rarity characters look pretty good. But yeah coming from some beautiful characters in v1, v2 character art is very meh. As much as we hate to say this v2 disappointed greatly.

Recently played the game in an up to date device and the game runs very smoothly. Currency seems very abundant right now but the events could use some work! Doesn’t seem rewarding. Upgrading units past your main 5 is difficult and takes awhile. More upgrade mats would be welcome! Overall the game is fun and challenging. Aura system encourages team building (even tho upgrading new chars is hard), character art is really nice. Hoping for new banners soon!
Starting to love & enjoy the game. However, there are too much bugs and errors. Boss vanished, force stop.. Etc. After we beat the boss of 13-9 stage, forced stop again and couldnt get back to the game.
Compared to most games today, everything comes slowly: text, battle, progress, loading, etc etc. Its a beautiful game art wise, but the chibis lack that translation. Each battle takes awhile and having to repeat battles just to get the heroic stars for chests is a real turn off, and the heroic battles are just the same battles with enemies having skills. We would expect an added element or something more appealing like finishing before a certain turn or more enemies and whatnot. Character skills are basic and everyone basically has the same skills depending on their class so customization seems lackluster. Aura links take so long to the already slow paced battles and lack real progression unless its a healing or attacking aura link. Debuffs and buffs rarely even make it so it takes one more/less attack to kill or save your unit. Im on Chapter 8 and needing to advance the airship takes forever. We like the design and what the developers were going for but the slowness is making us lose interest quick after playing for two weeks.
Keep freezing after end battle fix it.

First day playing but we’ve got 2 ssr and the art is nice. It has the look of a game you actually need to play and does have strategy. Im enjoying it and we suggest saving up to 21,000 gems from the start of the game inorder to get the 70 summon ssr. They give lots of gems in the beginning of the game so getting to that amount should be easy. We recommend the game so far but Ill update our review if we notice a problem.
No money put in and drop rates feel really fair. Art is gorgeous and the cutscenes are done well. If you like fire emblem and/or waifus this is for us.
So far, this might be the best mobile game we’ve ever played. Bong.

Solid tactics gacha game. Aesthetics 8/10 Models look great art is good Story 7-10 Mildly enjoyable wish there was a bit more dialogue and bit more fleshing out of the story Gacha rate is 3% which is pretty decent and Im having no trouble acquiring gems to roll Im sure there will hit a cap sometime soon they did put some percentage stat upgrades in skins which is generally a sign of p2w but we have 2 skin sets f2p. Overall enjoyable game hopefully it sticks around.

The game itself isnt bad. We kind of liked it but this game is heavy on p2w. We really hate pity systems because they make it ridiculously expensive just to get a nice character. Since its on a pity system, the rate of getting a high rarity character is cut to almost impossible to get until the pity kicks in and just think about it when you have to get multiple of it to boost it. Unless you are patient enough or have too much money to throw around, this isnt your game.
Simple, but solid gameplay for srpg. Lots of bugs and loading issues though. We have to restart the game often since it lags and freezes. The monetization is in your face with persistent time limited packages that disappear if you dont buy them in one hour. A lot of the characters are limited to their own special banner instead of being added to the general pool so there is FOMO. Be aware that the devs have had issues with their two previous games, Valiant Force 1 and Shining Beyond with horrible powercreep. Think twice before opening your wallet.
We love the VF series; played VF 1 and Shining Beyond A LOT. This game is an ode to those two and is fun in its own right. That being said, the models are out dated and we feel they could have done much better. SB had 3D models, we felt this should too, but more toward Archeland or HSR grade. The UI is a bit clunky. Shard system feels less friendly that in previous iterations. Early progression is kind of slow with character strength not feeling great increases when you ARE able to level. Overall Good but needs some QOL.
Game just keeps freezing up after a stage. Happens about 60% of the time. Feels like another cash grab.
Its a lot of cards you can find but its so low the rate that feel bad already spent 18k crystals ( 60 summons ) no ssr card yet.
Cannot finish download of add on/ extra content. Server shuts down every time. Seems like potential for a great mobile game though.

Im a huge fan of tactics games, and we really wanted to like, and spend money on this game. The problem is, its not sustainable at all. The game overheats phones easily, stages freeze, and sometimes the game wont load where it froze so you have to restart. Its really a shame because aside the objectification of some of the women in the game, its a very solid tactics concept. The studio behind this really fumbled releasing with all of these bugs. Hope they get it right before having to shut it down. Truly a missed opportunity.
Apple store says that it works on our tablet, but it doesnt. Cant even pass the tutorial. Ill change our rating if you can fix it. No problems in game like epic7, 7ds, kof, dragonball legends and other anime games.
Skins give extra stats for characters. Which are obtained from season pass and few maybe though dust that can be earned 8 every so often. Makes this game a pass and recommend people play honkai star rail. Have a blast on that game even though no pvp. But the game is dubbed, pity is 300 for select a character, but every 100 is a random 5 star character or relic. Story for honkai is great. Worst time to release a game when most people be playing honkai as its same company that made genshin impact so it had to be another great game. Otherwise this game not bad, but not dubbed, pay to win with skins and more. Just letting people know. Watched a YouTuber cover this and in the comments a few people even said its a pass as skins give bonus stats and thats not a good sign for a game.
Dont waste your time. Developers gave up on their game before it even had a chance 3 months approximately. They have a history of doing that, avoid their games and future releases theyll just quit on that too.
Game gives us the first set of instructions, but wont register our taps when we go to attack the enemy. We can see the cursor register when we tap on other areas of the tactical grid, but not the enemy the tutorial says to attack. Progress blocked, cannot get into game. Shame, art looks cool.
In the first battle we couldnt do anything? We were tapping but it wouldnt register anything.
The game isnt responsive when trying to teach you how to play. We’ve tried reopening the app but we get stuck at the beginning and cant even play the game.

The game looked cool, but we cant even do the first step in the tutorial. It tell you to click on the enemy to attack them, and when we do nothing happens. Very disappointing.
