Valleys Between Reviews

This game lives up to the reviews, pleasantly play through the Forrest stopping hazards and making beauty. A great representation of the harm factories can do and the growth water gives. Would love to see sequel with different environments, such as desert, beachside, mountainous, tropics, or arctic.

Beautiful graphics and music. Worthwhile game top to bottom!

This excellent game is even more enjoyable after the recent update, it all looks gorgeous and the AI animals function more effectively too. Its a peaceful challenge, not frustrating. The art is really cool. And the price is so fair too with no crazy IAPs or ads. Thank you for a great game!

The art style, the game design, the fact it keeps u coming back. We really love the no ads or micros or p2w. Also this app supports icloud game saves so that is a + too. Well worth the price! Pick it up. 5s ps. App looks amazing on ipads.

We love the game EXCEPT that your animals dont move in the right direction even when there is an obvious path to the threat. Its enough to not play the game because its almost always the reason we lose.

Pros: Beautiful art, sound, and feel. Cons: Theres not really any sense of progress. You start by growing trees and merging them into forests and houses while managing water and disasters. Hours later, youll still be doing the exact same thing. There are no secrets to discover or escalating challenges. So its an endless game thats great for mindless relaxation, but thats not enough to keep us playing.

No idea why people like this. All you do is plant trees. More and more trees. Thats it. Same thing game after game. O wait. We forgot. You get to COMBINE the trees. We what glee. Even as a free game we would not recommend. Sorry for the sarcasm but really do not buy.

We want to keep playing but we think theres some sort of graphics bug or something.. There are dangerous obstacles that appear without texture, just a blinking, then it explodes and destroys 3+ tiles.

Barely a game at all and dreadfully uncompelling. The art is nice though.

This game is boring. Apples refund policy is significantly worse than Steams so if you buy this to try it out, youll only waste your money.

Experience………………… Tranquility!

This app is so amazing. It is relaxing and fun. It is focuses on strategy, while relaxing you too. It is like being able to have your own world and gives you control over what you do. Must get!

Why on earth is it in portrait-mode only?? We have to turn our iPad Pro with attached keyboard sideways to play itridiculous! A game with such lovely graphics and intricate detail demands landscape modeplease fix that then its definitely 5 stars. Another reviewer mentioned sandbox mode/free playwhat an excellent concept (in landscape mode). Again, the artwork is beautiful!

We’ve been gaming since Asteroids and we know good game design when we experience it. The developers have a nice aesthetic but little else. The interactions and possibilities are very limited, and success on any level is unrewarding. This is basically a 15 minute brainstorm session brought to life with a few weeks of development. It has potential but they stopped way short of a good game with lasting enjoyment.

The animals go the wrong way when theres a disaster. Causing us to lose a heart and it repeats forever!

This game looks like and was advertised as kind of a zen version of The Sims. In reality its Command and Conquer, but in the woods.

We love the graphics, they are absolutely beautiful! And we like how the finger swiping is so smooth. We have one suggestion though: it would be fun to create your own worlds in a sandbox mode and play them. That would be really cool. Adding people would be fun and grow crops and things. We encountered a bug that almost no people would find but we would count it as a bug. So when our lives go to zero we can still make trees and things while it is going to the home screen. If there is an obelisk that pops when our lives hit 0, it makes the lives -1. Again, this is something nobody would find, but its better fixing.

We like it but this is impossible to do our animals never go to were we want and a fire happens every 7 seconds and same with the things that break parts then we have to start again so here is what might help you can have all the animals you got on then make it so you tap water near it then its gone and with the thing that break make them not so hard please then Ill rate five star.

Simple and aesthetically pleasing graphics and a really nice challenge of a game.

The game is beautiful. The game play is interesting. Unfortunately, it’s also super short! The game itself is pretty easy so there definitely needs to be a lot more levels of achievements. I’d personally wait until an update to buy this.

To say that this game isnt fun is not entirely true, but to call it fun is being too generous. Its too simple to really be engaging, and as you get further in the game, sheer luck decides how far you get to progress. We cant count how many times we’ve been far in a game, and an oil spill grows in a spot that is physically impossible to get to in 3 turns. Once, our fox was just far enough to make it perfectly in 3 turns, but a fire broke out right in our path making it impossible to clean the oil. On top of that, animals dont specifically target disasters. You can guide them with trees, but they wont turn to where they came from if a disaster breaks out. Overall, its a pleasant game, but frustrating that luck plays such a heavy hand in it. Would be nice if the game made it so that it would never generate a scenario that is guaranteed to take a life point away from you. It is not a bad game, but it is not worth paying for.

We see some complaints about it being too hard, or animals going the wrong direction. We disagree wit those. If you use your forest to direct your animals it actually because way too easy. We figured out a pattern that makes sit so we can last indefinitely no matter what the game throws at us. In conclusion first couple hours of discovery was fun, but now its doing the same thing over and over forever.

Non-intuitive play, creature goes the wrong way, difficulty intentionally too high, poor instructions and tutorial, and just generally not that fun…

If you want to make a game like that, do it, but this isnt it.

This game is simply amazing. The negative reviews are probably because they dont understand the simple complexity behind it and the beauty of nature and how it represents all the things we need to do to save it (kind of). Totally not a waste of money, worth every cent or even more. GET THIS GAME.

We bought this game off a whim because we thought it looked interesting but we actually am having a ton of fun with it! Its strategic in the sense that you have to manage your moves carefully, but still fun to where even if pure not doing so good you still feel like your doing something. Its very relaxing too, and t keeps your mind preoccupied if you want to just relax for a bit. It also has amazing sound and visual design. Overall a 10/10 for us!

We love the graphics and concept the music is also really pretty thank you for making this game.

This is such a beautiful game and we love the way it looks and how simple it is. We really like the challenge but it isnt too hard either. Its a really good game if you want to relax because it is very calming and does not cause stress when playing.

We love everything about this game except for one thing. The animals seem to always go in the opposite direction of the disaster we need them to fix. At times this will doom our world to be destroyed. If this would be fixed we would give the game 5 stars. Its very addictive.

The graphics are very good and adorable but the difficulty of the game is somewhat high. It would be better if they added easier game modes because sometimes getting the missions is annoying. On the other hand, if you like puzzle games it is a good experience.

The aesthetics are great; the artwork is beautiful and the music, serene. The gameplay however is very boring. We became disenchanted with the game the same day we bought it. Theres not enough depth to make it worth the purchase.

Doesnt fulfill as a puzzle game and too boring to be an action game. Manages to pull off that fine balance between being dull and annoying. Not worth the money.

We love the style and artwork of this game, but it needs a little tweaking. The game pops up obelisks and factories (yet to see a factory… Yet its an in-game requirement to repair one in order to progress to the next level) with a random number of moves before they explode and take a heart. The number of moves ranges from 1 – 9. Our biggest frustration with this game is how often it gives you MULTIPLE random 1-move-to-repair obstacles in a row that are simply impossible to reach. No matter how well you strategize, the game will eventually rob you of going further by picking your hearts off all in a couple moves.

This is a relaxing yet stimulating game with gorgeous graphics and simple gameplay. We havent gotten stuck yet but steadily improve our score as we improve our skill level. The missions make the game more purposeful and the choice of animals is fun!

This game came recommended by the folks behind Mini Metro, and this game is also an endless high score puzzler. This one lets players take their time, however, pulling up water, trees, and villages while their chosen animal wanders the land, occasionally halting disaster. We generally like it a lot, and it looks great, but it feels too hard at times, since the player only has three hearts with no way to restore them and sometimes the RNG nature of when damaging events are about to occur make them almost impossible to head off.

This is more a puzzle game than a world builder. The tutorial really doesnt explain things well. We like puzzle games and we like world builders, but we dont like this. Its not really intuitive, and though youre given goals, its not really clear from the tutorial what it is you are supposed to accomplish. Theres also no help function we could see.

Nice graphics and good basic concept, but ultimately too repetitive and lacking in content for the price. We thought maybe there would be different play styles or a valley building option, but its only just a merge puzzle.

Very pretty but the mechanics are extremely dull, its just a match-3 in different clothes.

It has a beautiful design but a pointless game dont waste your money!

Well worth the cost. Great artwork, visually stimulating. A thought provoking puzzle game while being simple enough to just pick up and play. Im not always big on puzzle games but this one is unique and the quests through out the levels keep you working towards goals. Very impressed.

It is a very cute game! We hope it will have more cute animals and more interesting modes.

All we get is a black screen with Little Lost Fox written on it in purple. The game dies there.

We thought that this game would actually be interesting, and then we realized that it is just plain boring. Theres not really a point to it, and we just dont understand what is happening and the mechanics of it. The valleys dont even have land, its just water that appears. If you want a real game and not just a stupid puzzle, dont waste your money on this.
