This game is by far one of the most unique and difficult games on the App Store…. It took a month or two before we started to get down the basics. But Im so glad we stuck with it. The community is fantastic. Valor isnt a very noob friendly game, but once you start to get it down it is one of the most enjoyable games out there.
We have been playing since world 28 and after all these years there is no game quite like valor. If you can get pass the outdated graphic and bugs Valor can become very addiction. The pro and con of valor is that it is a guild driven game, it is nearly impossible for you to solo and win the a world by yourself. If you are a new player looking for a hardcore, high risk, high reward strategy game then look no further. If you are a veteran, then it is great time to come back and support the game you love. The new designers and owners are keeping true to the origin and is mad at work improving our game. The customer support is on point. They replied back by e-mail within seconds on a SUNDAY! Remember that Valor is under a small team, so their hardwork is coming from dedication and passion. What more can you ask for? Be a part of something you love from the ground up.

More advanced than your typical war-based strategy game but that is what makes it fun! Recommend to everyone, give this game a shot. Will be hard at first but once you play a world and learn the tricks and the trades its an all around fantastic game.
After years of waiting the new owners have worked hard and fixed many bugs and exploits in the game.
What the heck happened man? This game used to be the greatest. It used to be so fun. We think the problem is people stopped playing it so the company just stopped paying attention to it. All it would take is for more people to start playing it. Ever since this company that owns it now bought it its gone down the drain and fast too. It's sad. We used to have a blast playing this game. And there's not another one like it out there. Oh well. It's a shame it really is.
We dont like the way the new owners are directing this game. When we started 10 years ago, worlds had 60,000 players. Now, we only see 4000 average in a new world. There were legendary worlds which went for a long time. Now worlds finish in 2 days. Even guild worlds were months long. How can new players get the flavor of the old worlds when the direction is toward fast games? We would like the game to be corrected as other apps improve their quality and keep up with the times. We dont see the mistakes corrected or improved. Hire better software engineers. We dont see how having only 4000 players in a new world beats 60,000 players in the old worlds. A 94% reduction in players would also mean lower revenue. Bring the fun back. Maybe you will get older players like us to keep playing.
Grate idea with being able to win a world. The issue is the few worlds there are in the are already being controlled by a few guilds and when they want to wipe you out its over. You cant even try. Because they are so powerful you will be totally wiped in minutes. And the better you do the bigger a target because they get everything you have done. Dont waste your time if your new.
We enjoy the game and we've been playing along time. The game lock ups are killing us. To many times we have to delete the game and reinstall. Some threads in forums shut the game off and many times we can not reply to our own threads. We would give the game a 5 if not for the glitches.
The game is dominated by players who are willing to receive alerts on their phones 24/7. If you have a job or a family, or a social life do yourself a favor and just don't. 95% of casual players just become farms. Over it.
Game used to be great. Now with the ownership neglecting the game it has become unplayable. This coming from a 10 year player. This app should be removed from the apple App Store. Google has already removed it from the play store. A game with high potential and from what it used to be. A great example how a bad ownership group can ruin a good game. At this point every dollar they receive from Valor is theft.
The game itself is great, there are a few bugs and iOS has an update that android lacks. The reason the game is being given one star is because it is largely pay to win, and the community is so competitive that they will do anything to capture your city when you are not playing. Free 8 hr shields and it may get 3 stars, but beyond that youll have to buy them from us.
We've played this game for about 9 years. It's had its ups and downs, and it's changed hands many times. Playmesh was good, and since quark took over, the games gone downhill. Our review is based on developer support, or actually the lack of. We have a game related issue.. And we emailed support for help. It's been over a week and no reply. Go into app and log in to ask a question for support? That's our issue, the app won't let us register. So we'll post here, maybe they'll pay attention.
This was once one of our favorite games. We have made lots of friends on this game as well. Its really sad that its turned into two main groups fighting back and forth. No desire to bring in new players while others slowly leave. For once we can say that in our 8+ years of playing Valor, Im done. The worlds dont last long enough and there is no where near enough players to get the true old school valor experience. If youre looking for a game dont choose this one. They dont care about new players and wont help you. We really hope someone can save this game because it was AMAZING but that was a long time ago.
Played a world with our brother for the first time in a year. Spent 150$ on the game and one night our accounts get frozen. The enemy team for some reason could still access their accounts and move troops around and reset a couple of our players which eventually turned the world because it was a small one. When asked about what we could do to help fix the problem we were told weve had these problems for years and that we need to file support requests more timely.
The game has to many bugs! You may be lock out for days and other players will capture your cities. Valor has different worlds, but amazing they will change the rules in the middle of the game. Support is just not good.
Two weeks in and we went out of town for two days and it booted us out of our city and wanted us to start over. No thanks.

This used to be a good game that we enjoyed. Now that the new owners have got evolved it has went to crap! If you implement new rule it should be in new worlds. Instead of banning people that have been playing by the rules until you Chang them! 1 star and we would go lower if possible.
We think it is cool the game could actually have winners. But should make some like the old way The way it is now isn't fun!!!! Most that played already has a certain clan and won't let anyone join. So the same clans just battle and take everyone out Newbies won't have a chance anymore Gonna give another world a try. But if it's same. Then bye bye.
Game does not work as it should. Has a ton of bugs and glitches. They surely take money from you if you would like to make in game purchase. But they never give you gold if you won it. Only if you pay real money. Complete disaster. Don't pay this people a cent, please.
Good game concept whoever it crashes a LOT. We spent $170.00 AGAIN thinking new owners would fix all the problems, we're an idiot. We won't be back. Don't spend ANY MONEY.
Great game, good support, very addictive.
At a few different points in the last past 5 years we have been an absolute addict to this game. If you haven't played the game yet you will not know what the strategy of scholar farming is but let us assure you it has ruined this game. Unless you are the <1% of players on this game that employ this strategy (requires multiple devices with Internet access and nearly 24/7 gameplay) you will not be competitive long. Bear in mind this was not the original intention of the game but is an exploit of the game that amounts to cheating or at the very least does not represent what the game is supposed to be. These players will grow at 10-100x faster than the rest of the field making your many hours spent building cities useless. There was a point when we would have given this game 6 stars if we could but as a long time player we have to say the game has changed for the worse. We will say we have met a lot of great fellow gamers on here and it has an absolutely amazing community of dedicated players.
We're playing this game since 100s and it's the best strategy game we've ever played! But we're giving 4stars, because worlds are too small compared to past worlds, and these 4ks don't even seem to be closing.
The guild forum is way broken. Every time anyone uses it, the game crashes. Now everyone has to be rounded up one by one and directed toward Kakao.
Every time we try to read posts in the guild's forums, the app crashes. Can't help our comrades or get help when we need it. There's also a bunch of players that move up the ranks fast, probably purchasing boosts, and form super guilds. No one communicates much, it's not as fun as when it first came out. Started in about world 30, played in a few, left for a while and now there's almost 600 worlds.
One of the last Great War games on iOS. If you're looking for realtime battles and really conquering other players cities. Then this is the game for you.
We played valor since w17 and we wanted to get back into it this past week, we downloaded the app again and tried to recover our account only to find out it won't send any emails when we type our email address in. We only get the valor loading symbol. If you guys are able to fix this in a timely manor we will gladly change our rating.
We enjoy valor very much when it works. We bought 3 different gold packs over 3 days ago and still have not received them. It has caused us to lose many cities. We've sent support tickets,and messages and still have gotten no reply. This makes us both sad and angry.

But for all realness, those poor women on those preview screenshots look chilly, and you really should give them something more adequate and acceptable to wear. It's distasteful to use half-naked women to lure certain men to play your game and is disrespectful to women AND men everywhere. Do us all a favor and give them something to cover up with. Thanks. Valor is definitely a unique empire-war game that deserves a lot more recognition on the app store. One of the things that makes it great is that there are no insanely ridiculous buffs or perks that a player can purchase in-game. This allows players to actually compete against other top players, especially if they work together as a guild or alliance. Valor runs on the principle "conquer or be conquered". You may have entered a world a bit late or may not have been on top of things as you should've been in order to be successful. This may result in a player conquering your city, but no worries! A new world will be open shortly, and you may begin anew with more knowledge than you had in the previous world(s). Players also have the option of playing in multiple worlds simultaneously, if one world just isn't enough for you. This is a highly under rated application and everyone should give Valor a shot at least a few times. It can be fustrating when you're a noob and it seems as if everyone around you is using gold, but chances are that you're doing something wrong. Just try a few worlds. You can learn a lot from getting involved with guild members.
Not for the faint of heart. We'd recommend this game, only to those who are willing to do what it takes, and only to the most vigorous strategists.
There is no other strategy game in the app stores like Valor. Period. We've been playing since w25, and we hope to see it continue for many more worlds. We do miss the days when there was less gold spent by some users, but we still love the game.
Great game hard to get into at first but if u give it a chance u won't be able to stop playing.
This is a great game! Thats really all that needs to be said. Yes it takes a bit of time to learn but when you do it gets so much fun! In our opinion this is the best free game on the App Store.
Good game no need for pay for play like the rest. It's complicated but worth it to learn. Good group /friend oriented. We love it, best app we've found in years.
This game is EXTREMELY addictive. It's pretty much drugs in video game form. No matter how hard you try, you cannot permanently get away from this game once you're in to it. That being said, there are reasons for this. First of all, this game is probably the most well thought out and brutal strategy game out there. Personally, we think other strategy games cough Clash of Clans cough have nothing on Valor. This is a game where the players make up how each world plays out. The concept of taking other players' cities is a unique concept which personally we enjoy quite a bit. If you like strategy games, we strongly recommend you try this game. We wish there were more games that followed this formula, extremely addictive and crazy fun! Been playin off and on since it released in 2012.
Good interface. Easy to figure out. It's those time based games, where you upgrade a building and wait X minutes for it to level up. Overall, its one of the better game apps that we found that has this game play premise. On the down side, we hate waiting for the resources to build up.
Good idea. Game play takes too long. Unless you spend a lot of money this game will take 10 days to be effective. Fun for a short time but you will get bored quick.
Fun game if you are just looking for a little entertainment. If you are looking for game to match your skills against others, look elsewhere. In this game you can purchase gold to gain certain advantages against casual players. Don't waste one penny buying gold for this purpose. Some players have figured out how to use external programs ran through their PC to render your gold purchases useless. Try another game that allows your skill and activity level to determine the outcome.
After the protection period, we were already pounded by attacks which are still and consistently going on, making it hard to progress. We tried joining guilds but none will take us because we're not enough points, which we can't get because jerkoffs keep attacking us while we can do nothing. Stock lousy city-builder for people with too much time and some sick arousal with "defeating" helpless noobs.
Mediocre game with horrible customer support. Riddled with glitches and connectivity issues. Don't east your time.
