Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

We really love this game! We agree with another reviewer that Im not super excited about being dropped into an on-going round in Scripture Blitz, but we enjoy the play anyway. We also find it very challenging to get the correct book in Blind Bookmark when the book in question is a small one. Our fingers are too fat to easily navigate to Jonah for example. Even when we know where Im going, it would be helpful to have the name of the book at the arrow (or at least the first initial?) we often lose a guess because the slider slipped from our target without our realizing it.

Overall a good game, although Scripture Blitz especially needs some tweaking. If you want to play it, you do not necessarily start from question 1 and can be thrown into an existing game at any point. It defeats the purpose of a leaderboard when players arent necessarily able to answer all the questions in that round.

Love the game so much! Please add the name of the book we have highlighted in the Bible Bookmark game, so we can verify weve selected the book we intend to select before pressing enter.

Most everything about the trivia game is awesome, except the translation chosen. We wish there was an option to choose the translation(s) Im used to using. The options to choose NKJV or ESV would be great. Whatever translation is being used makes some verses almost unrecognizable.

Not only is this a great idea but the interface is so smooth plus there are no ads, we couldnt recommend this app enough! Versle is such a good way to increase your biblical knowledge.

Edit 2: The game improperly highlights multiple instances of the same number. If there is only one instance number in the final answer, but two or more in the guess, then all of the instances in the guess are highlighted yellow. Instead, the game should highlight one and grey out the other to make it clear how many are actually in the final answer. Edit 1: New bug found. If you lose Blind Bookmark, close and re-open the app, it allows you to continue from the spot you failed. So you can "win" after losing. We like playing this. Works like Wordle but Bible verses. Adds new concepts like Blind Bookmark where you jump through the Bible to find the book and chapter reference to a verse. Unfortunately, a bug exists for texts with larger display sizes. The gameboard goes off screen depending on your iPhone display text size. Would appreciate a fix.

A fun way to refresh memory verses.

The Versle is a fantastic play on the classic Wordle game model, and a fantastic way to test your bible knowledge. If you read the Bible often, this game should be very entertaining for you. Its not entirely the most popular verses that all the white people have in their instagram bios and wall arts, but some verses that require some hard thought to place. Our only complaint is that the game model is a little flawed in terms of repeated numbers. If a number is only in there once, and you have it in the wrong place twice, it highlights both numbers instead of just one. It is confusing and misleading. They could rework the game in this particular facet to make it a 5 star game. Edit: They fixed the issue, and even added an additional game. 5 stars.

Love the app but it constantly glitches in the results of your guess and incorrectly tells you if a number is green or yellow, making it impossible to play.

We love your game. However, there is a flaw in your game. Today while playing the game, The response was that we had all four of the right numbers but not in the proper location. It said that the answer had two zeros in it. That was incorrect. There was only one zero in the answer. Please fix this flaw.

We were intimidated and now we get it – what a help.

We love this and have been playing for almost two years. But on 1 Jan 2025 the game day number reset to 0 and ever since, the verses have been the same ones as 2024. Im pretty sure there are more than 365 verses in the Bible.

LOVE this concept! As Wordle fans, when our son excitedly and persistently kept telling us about this app till we finally tried itthat makes our heart happy.

Fun every day! For those of us who love scripture, there are methods to make logical guesses, and see improvement.

Its fun to try and guess where a verse is found. After each game youll find a link that makes it easy to read the verse in context and more. This is one app we use everyday.

Great app to keep your sword sharp! The Word is sharper than a two edge sword.

This is an amazing app! We love the simplicity and functionality of everything. One feature we really wish it had though was something to calculate and share how close our first guess was. The daily Versle makes for a great community completion, but very often there are ties in how many guesses it took. It would be really cool to see how close our first guess was and be able to share and compare that with others.

Ive been playing this app for a few months now and we love it, its great. The only thing is pretty often when you select a book to guess it will glitch and have u select the one right under it. So if we were guessing Acts it selects John instead. This has costs us the game a couple times and is pretty frustrating. Other than that its been a fun game we would just say to fix some bugs.

A good way to test skills and build Bible awareness. Tough enough for avid Scripture readers, and game players alike.

This is the first time Ive written an app review, but we love this app! While its fun, it also makes you consider great Bible content and challenges what you know. The Scripture Blitz is a great addition, and adds even more challenge. Highly recommended.

Really fun. But 1 Versle a day isnt enough.

We would really like to be able to change the translation it gives us. Im assuming the translation used is NLT or something like that and we dont use that translation at all.

Versle is tons of fun. Get a text thread and share your results with friends and family.

Nyt wordle and other mind stretching exercises have been super popular so this looked good. The fundamental problem with the game is taking a mind game of strategy and just attaching the Bible to it. Again love the idea but getting chapter and verse numbers does not transfer in the wordle vein. Don't mirror, take your idea and build it around the Bible to make it it's own exercise and this could be one of our favorites. Until then, it's just trying a few combinations of numbers til you lose even if you know most of it right off the back.

We really appreciate this app and imo is so worth the $ to get the 5 daily. But how great that there is a free version! We have never been great and remembering addresses, so the challenge, but at the same time am encouraged if we can just get in the correct neighborhood! It just makes us want to read and study more The only update we might recommend is for those of us that get the 5 daily, that we could go back and review each verse. Thanks for encouraging us to be in Gods word.

This game makes us meditate on the verse and causes us to want to get better at scripture memory.

Not only is this a fun game, but it reminds you of the Biblethe word of God Who created the whole universeand what could be better? Numbers 15:39-40 remind us that it is incredibly important to remember the Word of God so that we do not follow after our own eyes and heart. So while this game is obviously no substitute for reading Scripture, we like it, and its arguably better than most other games you could play. One cool feature is that, once you complete a Bible verse, it will give you pictures of the verse to save to your photos, which is cool. Great app, and you should try it out.

Its fun AND helping us learn more about where certain things are discussed in the Bible :).

We would rate this game a 5-star if they would add additional popular translations, such as the KJV and ESV.

We ride public transportation and this helps make our commute pass faster. We are learning more about Gods word everytime we open the app.

Using Gods Word to sharpen our mind is the best use of our time. Versle is a great tool for doing just that.

Love this app so much but today it had a reference of 2 John 4:15. Obviously only 1 chapter in 2 John, so it meant 1 John. Made us really sad to see we couldnt always trust its reference.

Love the app. But it really needs more Bible versions. At least have the KJV. It doesnt cost for copyright. Other than that it would be a 5 star app.

Would be an excellent game if there was a 10 guess option. Otherwise its not really game. If you actually have to know the verse reference then it should just be one guess.

5 stars cause this is AWESOME but could use more stats. Would love this to be a rollercoaster of versle wrapped with Spotify every December. Would tickle the fancy biblically.

Very good. Helps us learn bible in fun way. Very intriguing to all ages.

We like the idea of this app, but we cant understand why the one verse a day feature isnt simply an optional way of engaging with the app rather than a forced experience. We wanted to keep going and try more versesinstead Im just annoyed that we have to wait 15 hours for our next chance. If the hope is more Bible engagement, why wouldnt you give the option to do more.
