If your an American and your stand up for your rights and believes youll be targeted and likely banned same as we were, this game is almost nothing but Russians anymore and theyve ruined the game, save your time and money and avoid this game.
This used to be a great game with super social benefits. Each kingdom is full of dead clans, zombie clans and then a few super huge clans made up of people that have more money than good sense. You used to be able to grow with help from others and things were very competitive. We are embarrassed to say we have spent thousands of dollars and we cannot keep up with the big guys anymore. This is not a platform for people who are on a budget.
The game fails to load all the time but we have no issues with other games loading.
The top bar across the screen will not load all our resources we have been receiving from clan members. They share trillions of rss but our top bar only shows billions. We keep running out of rss even though the record shows we have trillions that we cannot even access. We cant get plarium to help us use the trillions that we are showing because its not being uploaded on tje top bar . Im frustrated. This is so unfair.
Developers do not care about an even game and only care about their bank accounts. Pay to win game at its finest. Asgard is a joke with all the huge clans in there, no way for smaller clans to get anything but troops killed n minimal shards. It used to be a fun game. Now its just a money pit. If the developers ever grow a brain and a care for anyone but themselves then we might get to have fun again. If you decide to download this game then prepare for a lot of time in game for minimal rewards and prepare to spend lots of money to get anywhere in those events. Personal opinion is for yall to stay away. Unless you have tons of money to give away to one of the most evil n greedy countries in the world. –
It used to be a great game. But recently they started changing the rules on the fly without letting everybody know. They just let a few privileged know. They have secret competitions in which some can play but others wont be allowed. Thanks for the review. It’s unfortunate to hear you have such an impression. If you have faced any issues, we are always ready to help you!" we have been talking to them for days writing this review, to no avail. They dont see anything wrong in informing a small privileged group of people only of a new competition. They are not willing to play fair. This is a pay-to-play game really, you expect the game to be fair at paying a $500-1000 every month.
Been playing 5 + years for most part have enjoyed game met a lot of great people from all over the world. Its a nice escape from the day to day grind. Keep up the good work.
We’ve been playing this game for 54 days, the people are rude and refuse to work as a team, and the company wont let you just start a new game and now even refuses to delete our account we’ve even changed our Apple ID and still wont give us a new game so we now will never play a game by this company again.
Looking at the pictures we thought it was another dumb slide game but its actually a lot more fun than it looks we’ve already joined a clan and also if you look at this review sub to oversimplified.
This should be recognized for its beauty.
This game was an absolute delight we had a lot of fun strategising but quickly got bored maybe needs to be a little more challenging.
Cost and event levels are insane unless your a big spender to keep up . Andnow it comes to buying . We have spent . Im about out of heroes energy witch leaves us stagnant ingame. No way to get gems or materials to keep playing . They use to give gifts after every maintenance ,not anymore. At the beginning it was fun and a challenge , now its about who can spend the most.
We used to have lots of fun with this game during its first year but after that it. Became a constant battle with lag . Developers keep on adding new stuff to make the game interesting but the lag and the bugs never got fixed. You will need a lot of patience and thick wallet to stay competitive with the game.
The game used to be fun to play it Now it is full of technical issues for months and they do nothing to fix those problems but it is getting worth and they always say they are working on it but it is always get worth Not recommend to play this game or even spend a penny on it.
We played this game for years and enjoyed the people we made friends with most of all. We spent some money on it not a fortune but enough. Then plarium cheated us and would not correct the problem. We ended up finally just deleting it.
We’ve been playing the game for year, because of the social aspect of the game. The actual gameplay is laggy at best, sometimes taking a minute or more to get results of the battles, especially in global events like Asgard. Development is slow and we’ll thought out, often giving you little advancement, or impossible to achieve unless you are in the highest ranked clans, and spend thousands every month. Support is quick to get back to you if there is a problem, but doesn’t enforce the rules of gameplay, almost always say it is your device or network, even when the same issue is experience d by all players. The newest puzzle feature, takes maybe a couple of hours to complete, leaving you to do the same puzzles every day to get the meager daily rewards. There is no way whatsoever to play the game for free, and be competitive. Per the developer response: They are always quick to get back to you, they just never do anything to help out. The features that they add to the game are not what people are asking for. They want a game that is stable, and balanced, which this gam3 is neither.
Love this game. You can choose to spend money and grow. And even better, you can choose not to and still grow! Fun game w ongoing events to keep you engaged.
The last update was unfair and poses a threat by the developer to the gamers. Changing the rules mid game is unethical. Jarls build strongholds they know they are capable of defending. Now making the sieges nearly impossible to see defend. Losing 200 million t8 to receive as a clan 20 million shards = net loss of 180 million t8s now how do you retrain those? Go to Holmgang? Fury towers . Thats right you changed those also. Everyone is saying it. Everyone is abandoning their level 5 and 6 strongholds You could have made level 7 and 8 sieges for bigger clans. Could have made it so troops not supported by a hero and shaman are super weak so one jarl couldnt defend a siege on his own. Changing the rules mid game is the way to anger everyone. Its wrong and unethical.
Didnt like game at first but really like it now the only problem is the other players that ruin the game you you.
This game was fine, why did you have to add minigames? It serves no purpose other than to make the app more easily marketable.
If you want a puzzle game then make it. Putting puzzles and other non clan activities take away from the main idea of the game this is a solo thing and is a deterrent in playing. We have played since the game was 5/6 months old and is get more expensive and less to the intent of a team game puzzles are a time killer. If upgrades needed make it a team upgrade not solo game update that helps clan and playing together. Plus the gifts are useless 20k or less rss really a waste.
We wrote a review about how much of a many grab this game had become. Then in their most recent patch they added a mini game ripped off from a popular trope thrown into tons of in game advertisements included in almost every App Store game. You know the ones where you try to open a bridge or drop lava on a bad guy that says only 3% of people can beat this! Or where it starts with Your IQ = 150 then drops to 47 when the game fails. They added that to this game. Its incredibly cheese and looks like and performs like it was cobbled together by a first year programming student.
They advertise this game in one way, and when you download its another. This game is dead.
Ok we’ve played these types of games for years. But we thought Id give this one a try. Seemed to start out good. And spent some money. Got up to 2 billion in power so Id figure we could at least take a solo hit. Boy was we wrong. We had a lvl 30 base, with good knowledge training and a max hero. We had 15 million tier 5 troops. Someone with a lvl 32 sent 400k tier 4 and killed 12 million of our troops. We hurt 75k of his. Id love to hear your response to this. And dont give us its how you build crap because we’ve dominated in all the other games we’ve played. We would understand if we’ve was rallied, but this is not the case. Explain plz! 400k t4 against 15mil t5. Respond or not, we will not play again and we will demolish our city.
Fun game so far. However its annoying not being able to understand our clans chat because there isnt a translation indicator. It would be helpful!
This game is all about money no free play. Dont waste your time with this game. If you dont have the money to spend you will never be able to play on the same level as other.

This game is amazing but our shield keeps glitching out and we need the ability to send speed ups to allys.

We’ve always loved these slow games in which you have to build your empire and plan for the long run. If that’s your cup of tea as well, then you should go ahead and download this game.
This is a very good strategy game. It can get very challenging at some points, but at the same time with its gameplay and graphics it keeps us interested enough to come back to it every day.
We really love the aspects behind the game and that it is a game that you play long term, not for instant gratification. Nevertheless, it’s very fun and exciting.
Its an expensive game not everybody will stay in it they find out its expensive and quit can be fun but they seem to lose a lot of your stuff to we have hundreds of dollars in this game and lost everything several times but Im stupid enough to keep playing dont know why.
Its great updates but based for spender greedy company know how to make u addictive and steel ur money easly.

We have come back to this game on multiple platforms over the years, as it just gets the genre right. The only game that did it better was Kings of the Realm, and that was unfortunately shut down.
Dont let the ads fool you, this is not a traditional RTS. Im sure this is the type of game a lot of people are looking for but the ads are false advertisement.
Could have skins for troops or skins for youre settlement but overall great game.

This game is nothing like the adds and we hate games like these no offense its still a great game tho and we love playing keep up the good work thanks to over simplified for helping us get this game.
But much like this game, theres a minimum you must give if you want to accomplish anything. The constant updates, developer rule-changes and thousand$$$ Polarium wants each account to spend just to get to Level 1 is no longer worth the amount of time and efforts so many of us have strategically taken to build our clans and territories. We suppose the one star can go to the friendships and connections we’ve made through Vikings over the years. That part is priceless.
We come from playing a few war games that cost a fortune to play and be good. This one, so far, is extremely inexpensive and you can gain levels and strength free, meaning events and prizes allow people to progress without having to spend spend spend. We just began so we will come back after playing for a bit to see if it changes. We hope it continues to be inexpensive.
