Ive really enjoyed this game so far ive been playing for about 4 years our dad 10 but the latest updates make it impossible for us or our dad to stand a chance in events please fix the game plarium.

Okay so our game isnt loading because of some connection error and our shield is going to become in active and Im going to lose everything. And platinum is going to say tooo band . Its happened before.
Just great Id like to see the hero,shaman and town level increase sometime soon.
We love the game. Long time fan cry babies can stop playing but rest of us love the innovative updates that keep the game fresh & challenging Those who complain dont want to do the work.
It just notified us that update was over and we could log on and we tried and it said still in maintenance.
This game was extremely fun to play when it was still newer. Presently the game is approaching 1000 kingdoms, when we started the newest kingdom was 83. Back then the game was a blast, wasnt crazy expensive and relatively easy to be competitive if you were willing to spend a little on it. Now, we wouldnt suggest starting unless youre willing to drop tens of thousand of dollars. They say its free to play, which it is, as long as all you want to do is start an account and play FarmVille. It is impossible to play competitively free and many of the items needed to play competitively are not free. The volume of updates, which all require spending to accomplish have ruined the game for anyone thats not one of their whales (big spenders). Now, if your rich and willing to spend absurd amounts of money on a pointless games go for it, youll have a blast. If thats not you we wouldnt suggest this game.
Hi! We hope this review reaches people before they spend $$$$ on this game. Game is fun. You can drop millions and be super strong and rule. But save it and move on. Why? Your account will never belong to you .. Read company regulations. It belongs to plarium who can block it or ban you whenever. Game is geared towards people who spend 500-1000+ usd per month. Be prepared to stay frustrated- if you dont. Company customer service is awful. You will get reply. But looks very Ai generated. For every issue you report, you will get same reply. We will look into it. Thankyou for reporting (no follow up) our game had no glitch so we cant help you (yup you lost $10 worth stuff) you want better similar game? Play whiteout Survival. You can spend $20 a month and be just fine! Thankyou! Hope this helps you save a lot of frustration and money.
First of all, we like this game to an extent. The things you can do in the game are pretty good but theyll appeal so much to P2W players so much. VIP 100 no F2P player will ever reach that within 2yrs unless they join the best clans that are likely already full This game isnt clash of clans and neither is it Vikings:war of the clans its Vikings: war of the whales. And if youre not a whale then youre insignificant in your own kingdom and basically nonexistent in major events getting certain resources is also difficult without spending an X amount but luckily thats improved over the years but wait until they drop a new update like they just recently did and drop packs related to said update lol Im a whale so we dont really care much about that but this is what puts a lot of people off about the game and its become very niche that leans towards those who spend and those who are carried by those who spend.

This game used to be fun where you spend just a little money and still enjoy the game. Now it has become a money robbery scheme. The developers are building an enterprise for themselves based off profit, we get. Not going to hate but we also wont be participating upon understanding how things work.

The league levels should based on how much players spend to play. So those dropping $1000 a month should be in competition against each other. And those who havent spent money should be against each other. Or go by influence. We have personal competitions and Im in the same league as players 10 times our size.
Been playing this game for 6 years and it is starting to be more fun the higher the level we achieve. Question is how do we get and use promo codes on our IPads.
Developers response was stupid. Take your diversity and shove it! You made the game pay to win so yeah its diverse to wealthy people and where your currency comes from.
Doesnt give iPhone users the redemption codes which is a huge problem as we always spend money unlocking them but never getting to use them.
At first you can level up pretty quick..once you hit 21 things start to take forever to upgrade im talkin weeks..its clearly pay to win..otherwise the bigger players will make sure you never reach their power..cool to play for a couple weeks though.
We have played this game for 7 years, put some money into the game(about$3,000.00) you will never get anywhere. The game is only going to take more and more money to be able to play. Now it is mostly train troops loose troops for little to no gain. You get matched up against players or clans 3 times your size with little to no chance. The rewards are getting harder and harder to achieve and what you get is so low you will not get enough to build back what it took to do the event. Resources to do things is almost impossible to get enough of unless you get from someone else or buy. It takes trillions of rss to do things and rewards or mining gives millions.
Honestly our biggest issue in the game is just that the player base is not nearly as large and active as it was say 3 or 4 years ago. Most clans have less then 10 players which is a far cry from 2019 when nearly every clan was at the max. Just doesnt feel like the kind of game we can form a community with anymore. Everything else is at the same level relatively.
We have played the game for 7 years and dont like the restrictions to move your town. Its not bad but seems disconnected from having fun. We only play now off and on.
It used to be fun to attack abandoned towns that had shield drops within the kingdom the fact that we dont get points anymore but enemy kingdom players do is just wrong if someone leaves the game and has a shield drop and was a player in the kingdom we should receive the points for the kills.
Vikings used to be our favorite games. Ive invested hundred of hours into this game but we hate the puzzle gamesit just seems so dumb and pointless to us. Sorry. Deleted. Game isnt what it used to be.
We really want to have naval combat added to the game, because the Vikings of the real world did that. So we would like to see that get added into the game.

This game is strategically a great game. If you dont mind never becoming a top tier player, it is affordable. However, with so many players investing so much money in this game, the best one can hope for is becoming strong enough to sustain attacks relatively well.
If your an American and your stand up for your rights and believes youll be targeted and likely banned same as we were, this game is almost nothing but Russians anymore and theyve ruined the game, save your time and money and avoid this game.
This used to be a great game with super social benefits. Each kingdom is full of dead clans, zombie clans and then a few super huge clans made up of people that have more money than good sense. You used to be able to grow with help from others and things were very competitive. We are embarrassed to say we have spent thousands of dollars and we cannot keep up with the big guys anymore. This is not a platform for people who are on a budget.
The game fails to load all the time but we have no issues with other games loading.
The top bar across the screen will not load all our resources we have been receiving from clan members. They share trillions of rss but our top bar only shows billions. We keep running out of rss even though the record shows we have trillions that we cannot even access. We cant get plarium to help us use the trillions that we are showing because its not being uploaded on tje top bar . Im frustrated. This is so unfair.
Developers do not care about an even game and only care about their bank accounts. Pay to win game at its finest. Asgard is a joke with all the huge clans in there, no way for smaller clans to get anything but troops killed n minimal shards. It used to be a fun game. Now its just a money pit. If the developers ever grow a brain and a care for anyone but themselves then we might get to have fun again. If you decide to download this game then prepare for a lot of time in game for minimal rewards and prepare to spend lots of money to get anywhere in those events. It used to be a great game. But recently they started changing the rules on the fly without letting everybody know. They just let a few privileged know. They dont see anything wrong in informing a small privileged group of people only of a new competition. They are not willing to play fair. This is a pay-to-play game really, you expect the game to be fair at paying a $500-1000 every month.
Looking at the pictures we thought it was another dumb slide game but its actually a lot more fun than it looks Ive already joined a clan and also if you look at this review sub to oversimplified.

Ive been playing this game for 54 days, the people are rude and refuse to work as a team, and the company wont let you just start a new game and now even refuses to delete our account Ive even changed our Apple ID and still wont give us a new game so we now will never play a game by this company again.

This game was an absolute delight we had a lot of fun strategising but quickly got bored maybe needs to be a little more challenging.
Cost and event levels are insane unless your a big spender to keep up .andnow it comes to buying . We have spent . Im about out of heroes energy witch leaves us stagnant ingame.no way to get gems or materials to keep playing . They use to give gifts after every maintenance ,not anymore. At the beginning it was fun and a challenge , now its about who can spend the most.
The game used to be fun to play it Now it is full of technical issues for months and they do nothing to fix those problems but it is getting worth and they always say they are working on it but it is always get worth Not recommend to play this game or even spend a penny on it.
We used to have lots of fun with this game during its first year but after that it.became a constant battle with lag . Developers keep on adding new stuff to make the game interesting but the lag and the bugs never got fixed. You will need a lot of patience and thick wallet to stay competitive with the game.
We've been playing the game for year, because of the social aspect of the game. The actual gameplay is laggy at best, sometimes taking a minute or more to get results of the battles, especially in global events like Asgard. Development is slow and we'll thought out, often giving you little advancement, or impossible to achieve unless you are in the highest ranked clans, and spend thousands every month. Support is quick to get back to you if there is a problem, but doesn't enforce the rules of gameplay, almost always say it is your device or network, even when the same issue is experience d by all players. The newest puzzle feature, takes maybe a couple of hours to complete, leaving you to do the same puzzles every day to get the meager daily rewards. There is no way whatsoever to play the game for free, and be competitive. Per the developer response: They are always quick to get back to you, they just never do anything to help out. The features that they add to the game are not what people are asking for. They want a game that is stable, and balanced, which this gam3 is neither.
We played this game for years and enjoyed the people we made friends with most of all. We spent some money on it not a fortune but enough. Then plarium cheated us and would not correct the problem. We ended up finally just deleting it.
Love this game. You can choose to spend money and grow. And even better, you can choose not to and still grow! Fun game w ongoing events to keep you engaged.
The last update was unfair and poses a threat by the developer to the gamers. Changing the rules mid game is unethical. Jarls build strongholds they know they are capable of defending. Now making the sieges nearly impossible to see defend. Losing 200 million t8 to receive as a clan 20 million shards = net loss of 180 million t8s now how do you retrain those? Go to Holmgang? Fury towers . Thats right you changed those also. Everyone is saying it. Everyone is abandoning their level 5 and 6 strongholds You could have made level 7 and 8 sieges for bigger clans. Could have made it so troops not supported by a hero and shaman are super weak so one jarl couldnt defend a siege on his own. Changing the rules mid game is the way to anger everyone.its wrong and unethical.
This game was fine, why did you have to add minigames? It serves no purpose other than to make the app more easily marketable.
Didnt like game at first but really like it now the only problem is the other players that ruin the game you you.
We wrote a review about how much of a many grab this game had become. Then in their most recent patch they added a mini game ripped off from a popular trope thrown into tons of in game advertisements included in almost every App Store game. You know the ones where you try to open a bridge or drop lava on a bad guy that says only 3% of people can beat this! Or where it starts with Your IQ = 150 then drops to 47 when the game fails. They added that to this game. Its incredibly cheese and looks like and performs like it was cobbled together by a first year programming student.
If you want a puzzle game then make it. Putting puzzles and other non clan activities take away from the main idea of the game this is a solo thing and is a deterrent in playing. We have played since the game was 5/6 months old and is get more expensive and less to the intent of a team game puzzles are a time killer. If upgrades needed make it a team upgrade not solo game update that helps clan and playing together. Plus the gifts are useless 20k or less rss really a waste.
They advertise this game in one way, and when you download its another. This game is dead.
