Iffy graphics and fell off map.
The frame rate on this app is terrible on our 6+, it is really quite a slide show. The 3D effects and modeling are good, but moving around is very slow and you have to be able to touch the screen to move. So if your headset doesn’t have a push button you will be out of luck. Perhaps if we had a newer phone this app would be better, but for the 6+ it is unusable.
Well, it was great while it lasted. You couldnt go anywhere else. To feel like that is your entire sight is quite a scare. Especially when you reached the farthest you could go. Thanks for the visual though. Please dont drop any garbage in the craters. Thank You Very Much.
Just purchased a Merger VR headset. We love all things Space and it was great to see Mars, but we got stuck quite a few times, in a white sand? Our traveling was so sorry to say it was boring. We wanted to see that famous non active Volcano, or see The Rovers tracks! But we could not travel far! We appreciate all The Work that went into making this app, but hopefully the up grade is more interactive!
When we played this with a 360 vr set it worked but the graphics are bad and so is the Mars world itself. And many ADS pop up to witch is very annoying so we would not recommend this game.
We tried this app several times and all we got was a blank blue/grey screen.
Parents beware, the title screen begins with a link to a vr porn website before you can access the map. Shows up each time you open the app. We deleted this shortly after we downloaded because it kept coming up.
It was cool. For about 30 seconds.
First of all, not a game. Most of the 5 star reviews appear to be fake. Second, not compatible with magnet switch (at least not on sytros vr), so you can only stand in one place and look around unless you have a touch screen switch.
The app boots up on the XR and is just the terrain violently spinning around which made it impossible for us to discern everything except the vague color of everything blurring together being red.
You have to be able to touch the screen to move around. Our VR headset does not permit that, it literally straps the phone onto the front of our face. It came with Bluetooth controller but that does not appear to be compatible with this game. So all we can do is stand in one place and look around.
You have to touch the screen to move around but as far as we can tell no VR sets permit that so why make it a VR game at all?? Update: even when we just use it without the VR headset the land you can actually walk around on is very small and you can’t even see things like the rover tracks. All the 5 star reviews are fake! Do not get this app!
