Community Insight:

When we pause the game to make sure we can get a collectible it goes away.

We like this game a lot, but there is algae in the ocean and our villagers won't go back in to fish and they starve themselves. How do we get it out? Is there another way to get food.

We really like this game but how do you get the coconuts? Or finish the hut? There needs to something that tells you how! Otherwise we really really really really really really really really like this game.

We really love this game and we love all the virtual veligers games to!! <3.

We think that this app is the diggity bomb! 4 stars and this is why: Just press options and click the one that says unpause.

We love this game. There is astounding graphics and a great music genre. The only thing is you can only have eight villagers and then you can not reproduce because every male is too old and the gender selection is uneven.

We love this game us and our sister play it all the time it is really awesome peace.

This is a pretty cool game! A little confusing at first, but it will make since in the end. It's totally worth to download! Plus, it's free!!(:.

We wish you could place your own items and hunt other things. And maybe add pets??It's fun and kinda addicting but still. Please add more stuff to the game.

We love it. Great game to play, super addicting, and our 7 yr old lil sis is practically begging us to play it. Only the tech point things are so expensive, and it's really hard to make babies. We'll give it 5 stars if you fix these problems.

Pretty good. Virtual Villagers 5 is the best, though. We recommend all of them. We have every one of Last Day of Works apps! They're the best company out there. Long live Last Day of Work.

We love it so far but we hate that you can only have 9 people :( we wood buy the full version but we have people to buy things for so we don't have the money Plz make the limit at least 15 Plz.

We love these games. The "help" needs improving as does the puzzles section. We tried to open the crate with a master builder. She couldn't do it alone so we finished another master builder. Together they couldn't do it alone so we dragged in a master scientist. We guess because he came last, they needed an experienced builder. Algae in the ocean and not even a hint as what to do. Birds eating our crops even when three adults are planting crops. The help repeats the tutorial but no hints anywhere. We would pay for the game(s) but we don't like the inadequacy of the help and the non-information in the puzzle section. Ah…we'll probably buy the next one maybe.

How do u get get rid of algae all we have is trees they aren't enough please tell us.

How do u get rid of the algae?? Please help.

How do you get rid of the alge and our villagers are starving.

They won't climb up the tree plz help.

Cool game. Frustrating that the food sources run out so quickly. Wish that research would make more tech points. Fine otherwise tho.

This game is fun and all but it paused and we dont know how to unpause it if u know how write us back.

We really love this game! However after the update there are so many bugs that when we tap on it it brings us to the title screen and automatically shuts down! PLEASE MAKE AN UPDATED VERSION THAT FUXES THE STUPID BUGS.

OK, this game is OK, we guess, but really? 8 people? Come ON. We know, it's to get you to PAY for a different version, of course. It's EXTREMELY difficult to keep everyone alive at first, food is… Gone very, VERY fast, and it gets frustrating. Don't get this game if you have anger issues, because it gets sooo annoying.

All you have to do is build a Dan at the stream and you are good for life you need 2builder on it you need rack 2 in engerring to do it build a scarow by the sticks by the waterfall hope this helps.

We can't continue in this game! Whenever we start, there's like zero food as well as no other starting food source, and all our little villagers starve to death before we can produce any tech points to upgrade to get the coconuts. Help.

We love these games but was really disappointed when we found we can only have 8 villagers and cannot get anymore babies.

The game has a white screen when we're in the game it has a white screens and the villagers are still there. Please help and update agian.

First and foremost, we love games like VV. We remember buying one of these games for the PC and it was fun. Imagine our surprise when we saw they were all free! We decided to play two games at a time. VV took a while to get our village self sufficient, but we never had to restart. We restarted twice in VV2 because getting a self sufficient village was pretty simple. Now, the gripe: in VV1, our village could hold 40 people. But seriously? 8 person limit in VV2? Ridiculous. It already takes long enough to gain TP in VV1 with 40 villagers.

This is a really cool game, but it takes a long time to play. We already got a baby but we only get 8 people. So now more people isn't allowed. Plus we need to wait 228minutes for the mom to work again. Other than that this is a really cool game. Don't know why people talk about these bugs.

How do we get rid of algae it is stupid that we cant we tried youtube and nothing showed up this so our peoples starve and we see skeletons.

First of all, we would like to say we love Virtual Villagers. We completed the first one a while back, so it was natural that we move on to the second one. And this is why the review has two stars instead of one. However, when we started the second one, we were given all females and two males. But even that would've been okay if it weren't for the fact you have a max population of eight people! Therefore, we had to wait until all of our villagers were in their fifties before we could have another kid, and even then, it was a girl. So our villagers grew older, and we finally got them to have another kid, and guess what? It was a girl again. And after that, they got too old to HAVE kids, so we had to restart. So we restart the game, and the SAME EXACT THING happens, only this time we get two females. So this is a great game, but the population limit and uneven gender statistics make us so frustrated! Do not get this game, it isn't worth it. You can't complete the game.

Ok, so, the start was pretty good – two villagers fell down a waterfall and saw these weird lost kids. Then, it got really bad! The graphics at the beginning was sort of realistic, but then when we got onto the actual game, the little people looked like sticks with bobble heads! Don't waste your money.

We finally got it right at our 3rd village and mastered most of our techs except science and culture, got us an esteemed elder and now we have 1 woman and 6 dudes! We had to wait till one of the 7 guys died before we could get our woman to have more babies but now, she just may be too old? She WON'T HAVE ANY BABIES!!!! Therefore, once she's dead, it's game over. So it's very frustrating cuz we've gotten so far in the game… We don't think anyone's supposed to succeed on the free version… Not to mention.. Our food was at 6000+ then flash flood brought it to 200… Smh.

This game is not really fun it's impossible to live every day we go on our villagers are dead virtual villagers 1,2,3,4and 5 Impossible. Bad game nothing to do just to watch people die! ItLeaves there a skeletons seriously you have to do that! When we have villagers fish they never catch fish and when the dumb things finally catch one it doesn't even count we wihenworried about food it's because of them not us! This game is the last day of work designers problem not ours.

All our villagers are dead in one hour dumb game. This game stinks don't get it we really meant to give it not even one star! We hate it if you like stupid stuff get it! We deleted it after one hour of the game. DUMB we HATE IT.

We liked the other versions, but we were disappointed when we couldn't even start the game. A glitch or something wouldn't allow a keyboard to pop up to allow us to name the tribe; and it wouldn't let us start without naming it.

This game is no fun unless you buy the full version.

Don't bother downloading the free version. You can't grow your village. Spend the money for the full version if you want to play a very good game.

Perfect game for all ages :) we are 12 and absolutely addicted to last day of work games :)).

Our people have been stuck at the same age for over a month help please.

We do not like the free version because there is a seven villager limit. We would have paid for it, but do not want to start over. We would have preferred the ability to unlock the full version on the free version, so you can continue your progress.

This game is very challenging, but in a fun way. We've just started playing, and so far, it's quite fun. The game is nice on the big iPad screen and looks good. Love all of Last Day of Work's games.

How you can get a bigger population is building houses much more easier than buying the full version because the full version is the same thing but you can make more villagers and you can do the same thing in the free version!!!!!!! Why isn't the 4th tree of life have a lite so you can try it are you wondering cause THEY WANT YOU TO SPEND MONEY they do have a lite but it's 2.99 idk about it though we're going for free stuff.

To get rid of the algae you need a master farmer or scienst go to the pond in the top right and they will get a fish to go to the beach and eat the algae (please excuse our writing).

We love this game but we almost had bought all the tech and our dad deleted the game.

We love the game, but how do we get the scarecrow to frighten the birds away?! It says we need a sharp tool, what. And where! Grrrr…. Other than that, it is a great game. P.s. Always have a kid villager on hand to pick up mushrooms and collectibles for food and tech pts.

It is so fun trust us but DON'T BUY THE FULL VERSION….all the full version does is let your population get bigger.

Thanxs lil skittles now we know how to keep our villagers alive they keep DYING and wat u do to get the green stuff off the ocean is purchase farming level 3 and drag a master farmer and they will take the green stuff off.

We love this app! But we wish it was cheaper. To get the algae off you have to purchase level 3 tech farming and then drag a master scientist or farmer to the ocean. Hope that helped.

We don't know how to get the algae off of the ocean and our people are dying. HELP ME we DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
