Waggle Words is a strategic word search game set inside a beehive. Flying letters, chains of words, and a swarming hive keep the energy high! Players seek and select words with the goal of clearing the board. Create chains of words to greatly multiply your points. Power-ups let you move and manipulate letters to build new words, create longer chains, and clear the board. Fun game but we could only play while on the charger. Unreal how much this drained the battery. Had to uninstall.
We dont usually play games. This one caught our eye and it was a pleasant surprise. Our son loves it too.

Earlier today, after downloading it and playing while still plugged in, we were about to give this game a 5 star rating, as we were really enjoying the vibe of the hive and the relaxed-yet-challenging gameplay. We read the reviews before shucking out our 5 dollars, and quickly stupidly wrote off the negative ones as being typical haters and drama queens. We played this for about 15 minutes tonight unplugged, and was staggered to see our battery drop from 80% to 20% in 15 minutes flat, with our 6s Plus heating up to the point where it felt like we were holding a hot cup of coffee. This is RIDICULOUS. Users have been complaining about this issue forever, but apparently the developers dont care enough to release an update for a fix, while having the audacity to charge 5 bucks for this battery buster of an app. . Yet we can still play a graphics-n-sound blasting games like Asphalt 9 with almost no hit to our battery? Doesnt make sense. We are absolutely perplexed as to how this game is rated as high as it is. Refunds should be given to all users.
This is a beautiful looking game, and is fun to play, but it eats battery life like crazy. A game this simple shouldnt be using 30% of the battery of an iPad Pro in less than an hour.
Great design and graphics like an active bee hive with the waggle effect. The ability to move backwards and forwards 2 turns, change and move letters to empty spaces is good especially late in the game. But you have to choose the opportunities wisely, well done!
Graphics are good and its fun for a bit but there really isnt much content to this game. DEFINITELY not worth $5.. Maybe $1 or 50 cents. Not nearly enough content for the 5$. The game should just end when your out of words but it doesnt. Having to quit the game after finishing doesnt feel like much of an accomplishment.
Loving the gameplay. Hating the overheating of our iPad and iPhone, and how quickly this game drains our battery. The latest update doesnt solve these two problems.
Buy it if youre into tough but rewarding games.
Im more of a chess/logic puzzle gamer but this game definitely has us. Gorgeous and organic UI. Great game play. Very easy to pick up and incredibly difficult to put down. Definitely give this game a try. Why 3 stars? – needs undo feature – needs pause feature – no landscape mode on iPhone/iPad – needs save option (once game is closed you lose your progress and have to start a new game) – no option to put a name on local high scores (Just in case we let us wife play, shed like to have her name added to score board)
We have an IPad Pro running 11 but when we click AR mode it says we need IOS 11. This is a very run of the mill word game, not addictive or really engaging at all. What a waste of $5. We went to developer web site to try to figure out if we were missing something but no help there. Not that the game is hard to figure out, just uninteresting.
This game looks great and is super smooth! It does a great job integrating AR in the game and places AR objects in the world faster than other games we’ve played lately.
We love word games, and this one is a really super twist on the theme. The art style is gorgeous, and we cant wait to try it in an AR-compatible phone!
Love the graphics… Have kept our sick in bed wife content for 4 hours. Better than cough syrup.
Once you figure out the power to manipulate the letters and compounding effect of waggling you will be hooked. We really dig this game. Reminds us of boggle… But way more brain-stimulating. Dont waste a move! Great job. Well worth the price of admission.
Not worth $5. The AR mode is jumpy and, truthfully, its easier to play a regular word search game and not have to hold your phone still in an awkward up position. Have a feeling the 5 star reviews are their friends & family. More worth $2-3 for decent graphics.
