It’s rated 9+ and currently has 13,400+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes War Regions – Tactical Game Stand Out

► LET THE BATTLE GAMES BEGIN

Geometric warfare: Maneuver your troops around the game board’s hexagons to attack the enemy or reinforce your positions. Can you reach your target from your current positions? You’ll have to draw the line to see.

Strategic waiting: Depending on your strategy and the state of the battle, you can choose to attack immediately or wait for your resources to regenerate over time and then launch a more powerful attack. But remember, your enemy’s resources are always expanding too.

Full-spectrum warfare: Fight with tanks, artillery and helicopters, learning how best to deploy your troops for the fastest and most effective takeover of the board.

There’s a twist: Each time you send troops to reinforce a position, you leave the position you’re moving them from unguarded and an easy target for takeover by the enemy. Can you regenerate forces fast enough to protect it?

Fight on all fronts: As the game progresses and the board gets bigger, you’ll need all your wits about you to keep track of every position and optimize your battle strategy. Don’t forget to scroll up and down to see what’s going on in every corner of the battlefield.

Combined attack: Employ more effective tactics to conquer your enemy and achieve a fast takeover by launching multiple maneuvers with a single swipe of your finger. Engage the enemy on several fronts by drawing through your and their bases, then watch how your strategy works out.

Spoils of war: Earn gold each time you win and use it on extra difficult levels to draw down airstrikes on your enemy and turn the course of battle.

No surrender: If at first you don’t succeed in your plan for world domination, you can always try again. In this game, there’s no penalty for losing, so adjust your strategy, amass your troops and head straight back into the fight.

Good visibility: Stylish graphics and precise level design help make War Regions a fun and satisfying war game that you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

Hi- how many servers are there? Can you change? It seems like the same player is ALWAYS on the top spot at the end of the week, and his/her power is half of everyone elses.

We loved this game and beat 100 levels on the first day we got it. We just dont think its worth 5$ to remove ads. And you will see ads often.

We love this game but why dont we see blue cards? A little too rare in our opinion. Definately still addicted but its frustrating.

We gave it a 5 star because when we put our internet on it gives us no ads so we putted 5 stars for not giving us ads.

Love the update!! After awhile, we knew each level and done things to make it harder on us like allowing it to take control of everything before attacking. After the update, we had to regroup because it was more aggressive attacks, less damage from stationary canons, better bosses, and overall quicker gameplay. Keep it up. For those saying you have to pay, just change strategy and time a placement to meet them so they cant attack back. Only addition we would consider is more equipment cause we no longer get cards in the rare chest and starting to not get them in epic or not many. Also, another way to use coins as we have 1.2m coins and no need to use them.

We really enjoy this game. It would be love, tho, to see a feature added so that one could change the color they are playing as, at least as one of the given few, if not from a broader range of options. Also, sometimes when ads end and one returns to the game, the sound doesnt play. We have to get off the app and get back on it, just to have the sound back on. Please fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

This game is amazing and holds our attention there is one downfall that we have noticed though and that would be that even when making it to level 1000 when opening the level chests you will still get common cards for vehicles upgrade so it gets really hard to keep up sometimes but other than that the games been great and we would definitely recommend it. :).

Ive been really enjoying this game for quite a while now. Recently Ive noticed some issue/bugs. 1 is that Ill move units to another building and they wont join the 2nd building. They disappear. 2nd issue is the math is incorrect now. Ill have a 25 cannon shoot at a 17 plane and it only does -7 or something random. We havent been able to figure a reason why its off (like a shield, etc).

We love the game and the difficulty levels only issue is the thousands of ads that we have watched every time that we finish a level.

We have only been playing this game for a few days but there are many others like it. This one has a lot of cool vehicle types and you have to strategize how to use the right vehicle type for the map. However, this game is completely centered around pay to play. The adds are the most we have seen on a fully developed game. Initially there are mandatory third party apps. If you choose, you can spend real money you probably earn from working for a living to pay for them to not give you any ads. They do not clearly state that those are the forced ads only. After you pay to remove the ads, this game will still show you constant ads. If you beat or lose a match, you often or perhaps always get an in-game ad to purchase an upgrade. We think this would be something a lawyer may want to look at to see if they are violating their contract. We dont know how the law defines ads but seeing a screen pop up with the option to purchase something to make the game easier should be considered an add. And this game does this constantly. If you decide to sue, let us know so we can join in the class action. There are probably tons of other games doing the same thing. And although we are not supportive of being sue-happy in general, these game developers take far too much money for the services offered because they are taking advantage of human physiological conditions to impulse buy to overcome a challenging condition that the game itself intentionally creates. So we have no problem with people suing to correct this. That doesnt mean developers should not be able to prosper. They made a good game. But anything more than $20 a month is insane to us. No console game would attempt this.

Great game, but there are too many Ads. After you finish a level, you go straight to another ad.

We really like the game and its very fun to play but there is to much ads ever since you beat to intro it gives you ads left to right whenever you beat a level but the game is very fun.

The is good but it wants you to buy everything like to get free stuff you have to pay like Im not a millionaire.

Ive been playing this game on and off for a couple of years now and we enjoy it. Its the ads they have no way of closing them without downloading them you have to close the game completely and then open it back up again to play the next level.

After you reach a certain level you can no longer get ANY unit upgrades!!!??? Is this a bug or intentional? Great game for the most part. Serious bug on iPhone 14 Pro Max where selection on screen is off by about 3/4 inch making us select wrong troops and/or wrong destination. Please fix screen coordinates on iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Been playing a lot of your game now. Forced ads is a huge thing for companies like you. So each company we get a forced ad from. We 1 star that company and put your game name as the reason why. A lot of our friend have started the same thing as us. Soon there will be 200 k game and product ad 1 star soon.

Having played and enjoyed the game for 6 months, we are disappointed by the money grab with the recently introduced relic units that each require a $50 purchase that make playing WITHOUT the unit nearly impossible in the arena format and am deleting the game as a result.

Ive been playing this game for awhile. We enjoyed it until the latest update made the game a pay to win situation. The way over powered units are $50 but nearly impossible to beat. Also, all the ads now create browser pop-ups on their own. Not worth playing anymore.

No ads, fun gameplay, GET IT NOOOOOOWWW.

We played up to level 175 in this game and then deleted it. Initially we payed 5 dollars for ad free because it would have been a far worse experience with ads. We think we got our 5 dollars worth in the end but the biggest issue we have with this game is the developers attempt to get money from you. Everything in this game requires money and there are so many attempts to get money from you. After each level a special deal pops up, buy this upgrade card for 9.99, first time purchase special for 27.99, gems for 13.99 and so on. Its outrageous how much money they expect people to pay for the simplest upgrades. The game itself is fun, you try to take over the area by dragging troops from your buildings to other buildings in the hopes of over powering them and taking their building. Every 10 levels is a boss level where you need to defeat one large enemy troop with high health. In the 175 levels we played we think we lost 2 or 3 times, so its not a very difficult game but still fun for a while. You also have the option to play against other people in a 1v1 arena, if the other player has better upgrade cards than you then its not even worth your time. Ultimately we deleted this game because it got very redundant. Its just the same thing over and over, we can be ok with that if its entertaining or there is some goal we feel like Im accomplishing but we dont get that from this game. Overall we would recommend this game.

As a game, very fun. Intuitive gameplay with good tutorial. Card aspect reminds us of clash royale. After the first 10-12 levels, you start getting ads. The game then starts offering you to be ad free for a one time purchase, while increasing ads to the point you need to either quit the game or pay.

Its fun for awhile but once you really figure the game out, it gets ridiculously easy. Even the PVP Arena mode is hard to lose. Ive spent the last ten or so seasons at #1 despite not having all the legendary vehicles and only having level 5 (out of 25) upgrades. We find it very hard to believe that other players are genuinely this bad at the game that they consistently lose to us with their maxed out units.

We enjoy the matches but a full add after every match is to much.

OK, so when we were playing this, we thought man this is really easy and we like hard hard hard games and we guess it just really wasnt for us. You can try it. Its just not very fun to us.

The creators sold out hard that basically force you to pay for everything in the game it used to be you just had to pay to stop the adds but now you have to pay for the good tier tanks which they want you to pay $20.

This is actually a super fun game which is why it gets an extra star. But this game is written by liars. We paid for no ads. But it turns out that what you get is no external ads. You continue to get an exclusively in game ad to buy battery vehicles and upgrades in between EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. And they just cant help themselves from lying. Almost every time we open the game we get their new user promotion add which it says is only available ONCE (one highlighted in an attempt to trigger FOMO.) we dont appreciate being lied to and stolen from. We paid for a feature that this game will never deliver.

Fun game but obnoxious number of ads makes almost unplayable. They do offer ad free but its too expensive.

After level 10 or so, the difficulty is the same. Im on level 450 and its been easy to complete these easy levels. We dont use coins or anything.

We previously reviewed this game with a five star rating, and Im coming back to update it. We paid to remove ads, which works, and now Im about 3,000 levels in. The game still tries to sell you upgrades, and theres still ads-by-choice to boost rewards (which we end up doing when gems are on the line). Overall it is a very fun experience, and you do no need to pay to win. In fact, thats our issue. The daily arena still presents a challenge, but we almost never lose. The main game and arena both could use more strategic depth. A few levels incorporate boosters that change up the gameplay, but very few. Especially with the level cap, theres nothing left to upgrade or change up to vary play style. Ironically, the game still wants to sell us the starter pack. Buddy, Im way past it (and we already paid to remove ads). Im not going to drop $15 for four levels of Hoverlord! We dont need it to win! How about something else?? Also, please restore the dismiss button on the Island Challenge start screen. We dont want to start the challenge if we cant sit and knock out levels. Thanks to the devs for not abusing your players. Very happy with our purchase on this game.

Ive been playing nonstop since we downloaded this game. Spent money on it to remove the ads (there are quite a few) and its worth it if youre gonna play regularly. PLEASE please consider these options! This game would be OUTSTANDING if these could be added! -Clans. It makes the game so much more fun when you have people to chat with to help pass time. Plus you could compete with other clans so it would keep people playing longer (and most likely spending more money!) -Global chat. Same reason with clan chatting. Nowadays you need chats in game. It keeps the game from getting too stale and repetitive. Same with real time competition. -Live competition. Being able to play against a live person in real time is so important to us (and numerous others) when playing a game. We have no problem spending money on games we thoroughly enjoy to help the devs keep the game going and make new updates. Maybe even a card recycling option? We look forward to the future updates with this game EDITED TO RESPOND TO DEVS: Thank you for reading our review! We cant wait for the next update! Until then Ill keep on with our daily game grind.

Okay, Most games like this are not what they look like in the ads. But this game IS what it looks like in the ads! This game is to cure ANY boredom because we downloaded this game yesterday and we are on level 100 already! Kuddos to whoever made this.

We will probably gonna play for a year entire year and its not gonna be again that we leave behind and just never play.

This game has changed our life. The sky is more blue, the grass more green.

Least disappointing game phone Ive played in a while.

If the upgrade specials were reasonable, Id be purchasing often since we play this game often. To upgrade just ONE of your units its $99 but lucky for us, its always on sale for $29.99. . The pricing is a little ridiculous. So if youre not willing to pay, then your other option is to watch hours worth of Ads. Ive clicked on an add to double our rewards a few times and have literally fallen asleep before it ends. Its a great game though, But upgrading your units could take years.

Have been enjoying this game for a few months-its one that can be played on or offline, so nice for air travel. Yes, getting the gold (legendary) units is tough, but Im getting by with mostly purple units. For those who hate the ads there is a simple fix-go on airplane mode! Yes, you wont get calls/texts, but itll speed your game up immeasurably. Annoying, but hey! Its a free game.

This game implements some non-trivial, insightful adaptations to the traditional RTS idiom. The result is a simplified, faster-paced, fun game, all ideal for a mobile game. The control of resources is as simple as capturing buildings, the notion of harvesting resources is totally eliminated, and the production of units is automated as each building accumulates a unit count. The player have a much smaller action space then in a traditional RTS game: instead of marching from anywhere to anywhere on the map, troops can only march from a building to a building, and adds to the unit count of the target building if the building is occupied by the player, and descreases the count if the build is occupied by an enemy. There are no separate units either: the player can only draw none or all of the troops in a building, and all the units appears as one aggregate annotated by a number indicating how many units are inside. Fire exchanges happen if opposing marching forces meet en route; the two unit aggregates reduce the unit count of each other, and the reduction is proportional to the product of the attacker's unit count and unit strength. Compared to the traditional RTS where individual units act and are displayed individually, this (1) reduces the amount of computation, (2) reduces the need to squint, and (3) reduces operation complexity, all of which are great for a mobile game. However, the core RTS elements of clever planning and quick action are very well preserved: quick action is certainly necessary to capture buildings ahead of the enemies, while the order of capture matters and demands planning. The distinction between different types of units also survives in an exotic but sensible way: regardless of what came in to a building, the type of units coming out of a building is determined by the building, e.g. Tanks and helicopters going into a helipad all become helicopters when drawn out. Tanks are stronger but can't cross water. The maps are further enriched by the presence of mines, breakable barriers and capturable neutral buildings. Notable is the lack of a tech tree or in-game upgrades. You start with the units types you choose before the game starts, and stick to them; the only thing that ever changes in-game is the count of your units. This also reduces the game complexity as the player needs to worry about many fewer states in-game. You do have the option to level up your units outside the gameplay, which you can accomplish by using coins won in battles or by making in-app-purchases. The devs should think big. Instead of generating revenue from tons of ads and in-app-purchases, it will be exciting if the devs take the Polytopia route: charge the game itself and remove in-game nuisances to make gameplay more immersive, and gradually update the game (e.g. Allow user customized or randomly generated maps, add in more unit types, create new game modes). The game will then be a hit, and a loyal cohort of fans will form. (we imagine we'll be one of them.) we'll withhold a 5-star rating until that happens.

The app is a simple, strategic game. It is redundant though. The levels replay, but it seems that the opponents tactics change. Recent updates do not completely follow preferences though. We do not use sound in our games and the new features of an automatic defense system sounds keep playing with sound disabled.

The game is fun, but they want to charge you $10 or more to upgrade your epic units, which is ridiculous.

There are so many ads the game is almost unplayable. Then if you spend the money to make it ad free, its not! It only takes the annoying video ads for other games at the end of each level. There are still ads all over your screen and they replace the ads for other games at the end of each level for ads to buy in-game resources. We wont download another game from this developer.

Was fun for a while, Then big number didnt beat small number. Ai would ignore oppressive force to target player, Even if player had bigger numbers than other ai enemies. Back onto big number game. We had a stack of 450 troops and we sent it against a small tower with 50 troops and our entire force except 115 died. Which in all logic made no sense. Enemy ai had the same exact unit as us yet it seemed a bit cheated. As if it was trying to force us into spending 30 BUCKS to upgrade troops. Which Id stupid and not very fun for a game that essentially should just be big number beat small number not the convoluted Bull shikes of small number beat big number if small number has ability of ??? Then beat big number even if big number is higher level and higher number we used to play because it was fun. Went back for a bit of fun was greeted with a wall of buy this shoved in our face. Every time we beat a level it kept pushing troop cards in our face. IF we WANTED TO GET THEM ID BUY THEM PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST SHOW THEM AFTER SOMEONE LOSES NOT WHEN THEY WON.

Its ok. No really strategy involved, seems pretty basic. The levels are so quick and there is an ad between every level. Seems like money is the priority rather than game experience.

The game is fun, but the ads are too annoying to be worth it. They have 3-5 rounds of closing most of the ads, and often replay an ad complete with repeated countdown timers to acknowledge and move on.

We are stuck on lvl 41. It will not let us play it. It shows a demo on how to play. We cant move any of our pieces. Please fix the problem in the game.

We just started this game and its amazing. We wish we could play it every minute of every single day. We want everyone to have this experience in a game and we found it the perfect every day game.

Fun game with lots to do But do not buy the ad removal. Waist of money. It only ONLY removes the ads between games. Not worth the price. Maybe if it was $1.99.

We love this game, its simple and challenging at the same time. But we have figured out that the people you fight with in the arena arent real or are just really intelligent Ai, we want this game to be multiplayer so we can challenge our friends in a 1v1 and we would love this so much. It will make this game a 10 out of 5 if this feature is added, thanks.

Pretty fun but the levels still havent gotten difficult at all Arena doesnt have actual player accounts. Theyre all just computer players. Every time you win an arena match, every single arena players rating suddenly jumps 100 points as if theyre always playing and winning at the same time as you.

On one hand, the game is exactly as it is in its many, many ads. But the game itself is filled with quite a few ads as well. The most jarring part is the daily mission to purchase something in the shop, a mission which cannot be completed with in game currency.

Fun game but once you reach level 12, there are ads after every level. We wasnt hooked enough this early in the game to want to pay to remove ads, so we will choose to delete instead. Thank you.
