Community Insight:
We have been playing for a while now off and on and we have noticed that the AI is completely broken on some levels. It always is able to deploy a lot of troops when the game has just started, and it does this even when it starts in areas that dont have good bonuses. We like a good challenge but this just puts the player at a disadvantage especially when they cant deploy as many.
We moved to this game from risk. Really active/ cool community. If you play this we would suggest getting a padded toilet seat.
Enjoy strategy? This is Risk with better maps, options, and fog of war.
Better on mobile than most supplementary apps.
Our brother recommended the game to us so we could play together and it was ADDICTIVE. Its like those bad mobile game ads but the teams is actually insanely good with a loyal fan base too.
Honestly this game is pretty fun, theres basically no ads and its impossible to P2W. The learning curve is strong but once you get the basics you can test out different strategies. Definitely recommend. The idle version app is veryyyy fun too. Great game.
This game is better than the original Risks app.
We bought a similar game a long time ago. It was nice not the mess with the pieces. They removed the game from the store and relaunched it some time later trying to force people to buy again. So happy we found this! Its better than what we were looking for.
We played virtually non stop for a month, then we got bored – or maybe burnt out? FFA games are so boring to us because its so analytical and feels repetitive and boringggg. Diplomacy games are really fun, but thats only because we get to talk to people and play real politics. We wish there were more, but simple, dynamics to diplomacy games.
This is a Risk-like game, but way more enjoyable. No annoying ads between games. Custom community made maps. Come complex mechanics. We love this.

Was a great game with a few banner ads. Now its overrun with full screen ads every time we want to play a level. We get having an ad every now and then but this is too much.
Dont judge a book by its cover. The interface may look like it jumped out of the 90s, but the gameplay is perfection. The concepts are simple, but the permutations are endless. Ive enjoyed every moment playing this game. Grab this. You wont regret it.
There is a reasonable amount of ads you will see one ad maybe every 30 min while playing, UNLIKE STATE IO we use to play it and it had way too many ads now we found this game its fun strategic and sorta like chess.
This app begins with the core elements of the board game/ app and related war strategy games. Then it progresses you smartly thru a series of interesting mods and elaborations. They seem to incorporate user designed submissions so that the creativity never ends. Its not pay to play and only calls on a respectful amount is ads. The game play itself is what wins the 5 stars. AI is challenging and even difficult for some levels, but that keeps it fresh. Nice job, easiest 5 stars ever.
This game has simple risk. Any map you can dream of the movies, games, shows and books. Tons of rules you can add. They even have role-playing games.
Amazing game like risk but better. Amazing community and developer who cares. Found from Reddit. And hes a stand up guy. Cares about his supporters. Community and global chat is amazing. Least toxic community Ive ever experienced. 10/10 stars. Thanks for such an awesome game and project. Wish you all the success. Was a beta tester for the idle feature years ago and we can tell the devs really do care about the game. Warzone's owner is a really caring person and makes sure the community has the features it wants. We've been playing against our friend for many years and we both enjoy playing the game and exporting the goofy match replay video on youtube. There's a unique charm to this game, and it maintains its minimalistic, 2D graphics and makes it feel clean and simple.
Amazing game ten years later. Great community. We love this game and you will too, if you stick with it you will get great enjoyment out of this risk game.
The game after not having tons of popularity (im guessing) after 6+ years of being out, its really nice to see the developers still active with their game. Only reason its missing a star is because of the micro transactions in their Idle game mode. You dont have to buy anything to play and the game is still enjoyable without them. The only thing is they bundles are way too expensive! Id guess theyd make way more money making a small bundle $1 instead of $10. Id love to buy some of the bundles, but the in-game value is so mismatched to the price. Out of school promo bundle? Great! $10 for some coins and a membership thing we dont quite understand? Heck no. In our opinion they should take a page out of Supercells book with Clash of Clans. If they offered different price points with higher overall value, Id totally spend money on this game. In the current moment, we havent paid a dime. Ive been playing this game for years and this has been our only complaint. Its a fantastic game and their baseline game mode is BETTER than Risk in our opinion. We enjoy the fact that theres no getting lucky on dice rolls when attacking territories. Everyone is on even footing, so it just comes down to strategy. Hope this review has been helpful.
We would have said this was one of our most favorite, and frequently played games. In last month or so however the ads that show up before game wont close. Still able to turn off audio but clicking on the top left corner, but clicking on X in top right corner has no effect and the advertisement is stuck on the screen preventing game play.
We used to enjoy this game till they recently added a currency for it and we just cant get with it. We preferred the old version that was just get armies every turn.
Banner ad's block the main menu buttons on ios. Unplayable as a result.
Difficult to figure out how to play. Not really a strategy game. Fog is too worldwide. Cant do strategy as you do in Risk. Cant see the whole board situation. We think Ill stick with the board game. We guess we like holding pieces better than tapping with our finger all the time. The computer is invisible, mathematical, and cold. Not like playing with a real person in front of you, even if that real person is oneself. Nice variety of game boards, though very creative.
This game is fun, and Im currently Level 52. But, wvery single time like after getting in multi 4 times, it crashes. Could you please fix this.

We like this game its just simple and easy to play, theres many ideas you can use in this game style to make this game more fun you can brought ideas from supremacy1914 game.
We understand that you need funding, so a few ads are part of the bargain. But now, it is absolutely impossible to deal with your app. There are intrusivewith sound that cant be disabledads avery time you start a game. Every. Single. Time. We have enjoyed your game for some months, and you received some modest revenue from the ads you fed us. No more. We are uninstalling this annoying app now.
The game is great, but the games community is absolutely terrible. Obviously this is not the fault of the developers, but should be noted.
This has been one of our favorite games for years! We love coming back to it periodically and working on the incredibly extensive solo missions or playing a long custom game. Sometime this year, hard to say exactly when, our phone (iphone 13) stopped being able to play this game. Whenever we open the app, the app will freeze immediately (within 3 seconds or so). We love your game, and donated to help you fight the activision lawsuit. We really hope that you are able to fix this issue sometime soon. We're not sure if it's an iOS thing or a hardware thing or what. Thanks.
The game is okay at best, it constantly piles ads on you and the in game purchases are wildly overpriced. If you get stuck on a map youre supposed to get a skip but ive only gotten one between the two times ive downloaded this app. If you want to waste time , fee free to get this. Otherwise, skip it for something that has a developer that isnt greedy.
We are always looking for games that you pay once and your set. The first few maps are easy to play and learn how to play. After playing to level 5, we started to look for the way to eliminate ads, only to find out it is a monthly subscription. We are so glad that we did not start the subscription because not too many stages later the difficulty ramped up and we ran into a situation where we had to surrender. That would have been fine. But that wasnt the type of escalation we were looking for. All that to say, it would work better for us if there were a number of maps at the 3rd level, a number of different maps at level 4, etc. You pay for a bundle of maps, after you try one in the bundle. So you arent getting continuously billed. The game SLAY is an example. We are also not planning on playing in a community and realize that is a different experience all together. We did like the format of Making all your plans and then Committing them.
It freezes in the first 2 seconds of the tutorial.
We have been using this app for years. Until today. The app glitched. The game would not work. We had to remove the game and reinstall for it to work. We logged back in and everything is gone. We have to start over. We spent real money on this game. What we purchased is gone. We cant even access anything because it is all gone. Everything we unlocked, gone. We are not starting over. So frustrated.
Seriously, this game is AWESOME. Its structured like Risk except (in most game modes) its set like X attackers kill Y defenders. You can build your own maps, there are thousands made by the community, and the online multiplayer is pretty active. There are real time games and multi-day ones. Best of all this game is completely free with zero pay-to-win features. We have been playing for over 4 years now and have no plans of stopping anytime soon.
We got far in warzon idle but we never had an account. The game kept telling us to create one so we went ahead and created one……ALL of our idle progress was loss and we got bumped back a few levels in the regular mode. It's possible that we might've had an account from years ago but we didn't even get a notice that progress would be loss.
This app is great. We play it in a large group and have opened so many levels so much of the game is customizable for us. Dare we say, the best independent game Ive played.
Warzone has been probably our favorite video game of 2021, Ive gotten to meet some and talk to some genuinely interesting people! A good maneuver always makes us feel excited.
If you want to play against a challenging AI opponent with a RISK type of game on your schedule, this is the game for you. Theres a map of scenarios to go through with different variations on RISK versus different AI opponents. Some of these opponents are TOUGH, but are eventually beatable. Great turn based strategy game, especially if you have crappy internet.
Our buddies and we play from 3 different time zones. Its been awesome. Game play is modifiable to accommodate any preference. Brilliant.
Can you please add more slots for the Scenario Builder thing please add more slots please why not A-Z And AA-ZZ like AY AB BB EG KS or other slots please add this and keep the updates on going :).
We would rate it five stars but the ads block the way of most buttons.
The only flaws we can think of is that youre limited to 40 players once youre at the max and two of the colors have little if any difference 60 might be pushing it but 50 would be a lot better The bright blues are almost identical and its confusing when they share borders we want a feature where only host can boot players because we dont know if you have heard of the diplomacy games which you more than likely have but somebody just ruined the game by booting Britain and Russia as soon as he was able to and this feature would mostly fix the problem only problem with this fix is if the host is the same way.
This is a great game with lots of options. If you love Risk, you will enjoy this game.
