Hi guys! Ive been waiting to purchase this game because we saw a lot of people were having problems with it. We figured you had added enough patches and everything was probably ironed out, so we finally bought it yesterday. Started playing about an hour ago. In the first room on the right, we unlocked the top part of the big desk that has stationary, envelopes and pens in the smaller drawers. We know whats in the drawers because of the dialogue, not because we can see whats in the drawers. None of them open even though it sounds like they are opening. Ive continued playing, and a lot of the drawers dont visually open. We hear them, and the game seems to register that they are opening, but we dont know if Im getting everything we need because Im stuck. Please please PLEASE fix this because we really want to play this game. It looks so fun and challenging! And we want to give it 5 stars. It has so much potential.
Great game that is in the mold of other quality point and tap adventures. The game really makes you think and keeps you engaged. No issues with the game play once the updates had been installed. We are looking forward to the next installment and hope it comes out soon.
The game had some fun puzzles that are different than many other point and click adventures. Theres no storyline, but that didnt really bother us. Graphics are nice. We really liked the clever responses when some things are attempted. Note that there is an error in one puzzle clue: The burned paper has a mistake in the 5 column at the bottom. No glitches, worked fine. We hope there will be sequels.
Tough game! No glitches for us and it definitely kept us thinking. We must say we were disappointed when the game ended. We want to know what happens next! Please make a second one.
We had no glitches at all, and all of the clues made sense. We enjoyed the challenge, and the witty dialogue. It did make us think, but that is why we play these games. We totally recommend this to new players, and those that had problems with the app to go back, replay, and leave a better rating.
We are really enjoying the game so far. We are playing on an iPad Pro and have had zero technical issues so far. Im maybe halfway through the game. We are very stuck on several of the puzzles however. We feel like we know what to do but we cant find the items we need. As some other reviews have mentioned we wish there were some hints available but Ill keep at it.
We learned about this game from another popular developer, so we preordered it and was really looking forward to it. Overall, the game had a few challenging puzzles and nice graphics, and it kept us occupied for a day or so. We did have an issue where we lost an item after placing it, and had to restart the entire game when it never reappeared in our inventory or allowed us to pick it back up (chime). Sometimes the controls were clunky and it took a number of taps to complete a task. We were a little disappointed in the story; the letter in the beginning of the game suggested some sort of mystery and we looked forward to that, but the game abruptly ended with unused items in our inventory and not a lot of closure. Overall, if the bugs were fixed and a little more depth was given to the story (or we get a part 2), it would get a higher rating.
The game keeps stuck, objects disappear, the game is not automatically saved and you need to repeat your move, Game freezes , text does not really help The size of expectations,is the size of disappointment Dont buy this game.
Ive played so many of these games and Im addicted but this one while it has a lot of visual aids that are superior to other games lacks the functional part. It glitches, you cant find objects, you tap multiple times but it doesnt register unless you back up and try again. The beautiful art just isnt worth the headache in our opinion. If anytime else figures it out without issue let us know.
Im enjoying the game but am stuck on the dials in the bedroom. Ive tried every combination of numbers based in the sheet of paper we can think of. Any hints.
Ive played this game for almost 6 hours straight for two days. We lost two different items and we Would click the same spot over and over again just to come back to it in an hour or two in there would be something there. Is game at good potential and if they can fix the many bugs we love to play it again and give it more than one star. But as the game is now Its to the point of being on playable. Please fix allowed to start playing again.
Freezes all the time. Not buying your games again. Please just give our money back.
We are stuck and ive looked at what you guys have on your website as hints but its just not helping we love the game and love to finish it but cant.
The game continues to crash even after the update. We paid for this game and all bugs and crashes should have been fixed before release.

This game was a gem! All of the puzzles were solvable with the clues in the game, they just took a little thought. We think thats a good thing! We also liked that several puzzles were kind of open at the same time, so you could make some progress on a puzzle, do some work somewhere else, and come back to the first puzzle once an idea clicked. We hope this developer makes more games and Ill be checking back to see if they do.
We just replayed this after a couple of years and was happily surprised to see how well it holds up. The puzzles are challenging and interesting and tricky – the best kind imo. We def needed a couple of hints and the hint guide on the website is great. It gives you a little nudge at a time so no spoilers. Overall a well-made, very enjoyable game. Its amazing that its basically a one man production. Well done, dev! We hope you make more.
Cannot figure out how to get into the 2 locked rooms upstairs? Can get into the closet.
Amazing game but for the most part couldnt figure out the puzzles …maybe if we spent more time but dont have that.
Game was okay. Puzzles were interesting. But the game ends abruptly and you never find out What lies underground. There is literally no point and no resolution.
We want our money back. Waaayyyy too short, mediocre gameplay and look, several puzzles unsolvable without a hint (which developer admits), and too top it off the end is basically a cliffhanger with no answers. You end up underground but never find out what lies there. Not worth paying at all.
Normally we trash games after we finish them. This one, though, Im keeping in hopes that there will be new levels. Please.
We're so confused. We were really hoping to an answer to the question. Is there an episode 2.
We had fun playing this game, with a few exceptions. First of all, for 4 bucks it was a little on the short side. Second, the inventory system was unnecessarily complicated, and should have been more user friendly. Third, the game involved a little too much wandering around clicking on random things, because solving a puzzle did not necessarily lead you in any particular direction. And fourth, what were the wrench and the feather for? We never used them.
Poorly tested. Cannot go past a certain point because the game crashes. We would like our money refunded.
The game keeps freezing while zoomed into objects or while looking at something in inventory. We keep closing the game and trying to continue our game but it always restarts at beginning. Not gonna keep doing that. Fix or refund please.
Took us 5 hrs of randomly picking it up to get underground. We do, then…its over. Our wife played and somehow randomly lost an item. Had to delete the app and completely replay the game, only to find the same disappointing (and quick) ending. Felt bad giving only one star, but closer to that than two.

Games constantly freezes and you have to start from the beginning. Should have probably tested the app before making it available for purchase. Plan on getting our money back.
