Its peaceful and has an unique take. We havent played a game like this one before. The scenes are beautiful; the music and game are very enjoyable. We would not say that the premise or anything about the game is frustrating. If youre looking for a fast-paced, get-to-the-point game, Im afraid this isnt the one for you. The adolescent scenes are enjoyable and calming. We enjoy the reminiscent feel. We dont think this is a game for everyone, but the controls are simple and easy to follow. The ones who commented that it was frustrating or confusing simply havent played a lot of games. A layman can understand it. Youll know right away after the first two levels if its a game that youll enjoy.

We want to say something to the developers of this game, which is we really do appreciate this game, so much, we think this is so well build and unique, we have to rethink what is it means for gaming instead of only turning on the game and just start to kill and about all that bloody stuff.

Just finished. Worthwhile level of challenge. Beautiful artwork. Peaceful and engaging. Definitely worthy of high marks if you like challenging but not excruciating puzzle games. Opportunities for improvement. 1. Agree the cut aways are not everyones cup of tea, but we liked them. Eventually, you enjoy the creative artwork and get the unique storyline, albeit melancholy. However, we were a little ticked off with the ending being less than anti-climactic. For all of that effort, something a little bit more celebratory in both a graphic and storyline perspective would have been just rewards. Sadly, without more punch in the end felt cheated of our time. If it not for the artful puzzles, we would have given it a lower rating for that reason alone. 2. Please give the user the option of opening and closing the deck of cards with different movements or clicks. Having to pinch Open and close was extremely cumbersome. Most importantly, if you made an error, it could send your character to places you didnt want to go and completely mess up all of your hard work on that level. We almost stopped playing because of it.

The game mechanic here is original and quite satisfying to interact with. We can’t imagine how this works on a PC as the touch interface seems ideally suited for how it’s presented. At first we thought the game was going to be rather short, but then the scenes kept coming and new intricacies are introduced at a reasonably modest pace. We wish we could say we were getting a lot out of the story, the made-up "gibberish" language seems rather pointless and we have no idea what the disembodied eyes are supposed to represent. The save issue as described by others is present…i.e. If the app closes down due to memory management it’s possible your progress can be reset to an earlier level. We discovered that if we immediately close and relaunch the app it returns us to the latest level we’re playing. Amazing that the sophisticated gameplay and graphic design can be so well-executed, but these simple housekeeping tasks present challenges. All in all, the game has us hooked and we would be interested to see a sequel.

Great game for sure. Very clever puzzle game. Looks incredible. Thank you!! Lots of fun.

We fell in love with the style of the game and its music.

Its calming and interesting. And really fun and beautiful. We wish it worked on the Apple TV. The remote doesnt really respond at all. But playing in the phone is nice. :)

Visuals are impeccable, music and different mazes/puzzles are fantastic. Simplistic, beautiful, has us curious about all the eyes . Our only suggestion is to speed up the cut scenes the tiniest bit, a little too slow motion to enjoy.

The puzzles are really fun to play and the game has a great vibe overall. Thats why we think its a very beautiful game, but please put a skip button for the transitions.

Amazing development of strategic thinking! Actually makes your brain cells move LOL ! Only feedback is the in between dialogue. Too lengthy and cant understand what is happen or being said. There should be option to skip even though its building on a story. Otherwise great great great!!!

Please (!!) make a follow up to this. We absolutely LOVE this game. So much that we’ve ended up playing a bit before bed, except it turns into hours and the sun is coming up. We love doing puzzles and some abstract thinking – this is even great to replay & set our own goals (ie: time trial, not use hints, finish in least amount of moves) Keep it coming!

We got this game bc we got the apple arcade membership for free for 1 month and wow im so surprised how fun this game is! Its a puzzle type game and its so great for your brain but also-just beautiful art work in general. Left us breathless how amazing the art was and the graphic etc. The story is a bit confusing but we just started playing yesterday but wow great game!:)

We think the game puzzles are interesting and enjoyable, and we’ve been having fun working through them. We dont mind the cut scenes, but we find them very confusing. We dont know what they are showing us. Are they building to some ultimate story? If so, youve lost us. We dont think you need to remove them, but a skip would be good for some. And making them a little more understandable for those of us that enjoy a little story with our puzzles would be good for the rest of us. Thanks for a fun game!

Wish we could skip the cutscenes!

We like the cut scenes, we dont understand them, but they are a cute addition to the game. When we press the light bulb for a hint we are kicked out of the game. Please fix this glitch, other than that we would give this game 5 stars. Us and our son have enjoyed trying to figure out the card placement.

It took us time to see how the functionality of the game wouldnt get repetitive, but after a few levels and taking in the beautiful design, we grew more and more impressed and entertained.

It is a very nice game but it loses its current level lots of the time and it is annoying!! Im in the page third right now and already passed 6 level there and after some time it still starts us at lage 3rd level1! Please fix this bug.

Okay. So this game is very fun, and it is very relaxing. It has a very good storyline and we enjoy the game. However there are a few improvements that could be made. First, there should be customization options. Please add some feature into the game to where you can change the background color/design of the cards as this would make it very nice. Second of all, you should allow players to create their own characters and use them in the game as it would make the vibe and feel of the game more personal. Lastly, you should allow players to decide what to wear from a closet or bedroom or just a menu. Again this would make the game feel better. Please dont add in-game currency though, as that would ruin the peaceful and puzzle-like vibes that run through the game. Other than this, we really enjoy the game.

Love the gameplay and story. Graphics are great as well. Our only issue is our games arent being saved. When we come back to play, Im always back to a level we’ve already played before. ICloud is on as well. Idk what it is.

We think we were just misled because this was in the games category. We think there is a certain expected amount of flexibility, autonomy, interactiveness, room to explore, or clarity (in terms of what the goal is) for games, but like many other reviewers say, this app lacks that in terms of game standards (in terms of whats available in the current market). We think thats mostly why people (me as well at first) got frustrated. However, the graphics are amazing. You can see that each scene is delicately made and the many sound effects and music that go with them are great. Also its really beautiful how the cards turn when youre pressing on them and they glide so gracefully. Its such a great idea and initiative. We would love to see more and help the developer make additions to the game if they want that. All in all, we think it would have made more sense to us if this was called an interactive display or like an interactive exhibition series. There is so much to be appreciated in terms of the beauty and flawlessness of what is presented, but the game side of it just doesnt match the level of beauty or intricacy of the design. Still enjoyed it a lot. We just wished we could do more with it!

Honestly we love this game. Im not sure what we were expecting when we downloaded it but let us say we have been surprised. Its a little tricky at first because there are no directions or like a tutorial to get you used to the gameplay before you start, since theres no words or written notes. Other than this small blip, the game is amazing. Its fun, challenging, cute storyline. We’ve almost finished it and we started the game this evening, we just cant put it down.

We enjoy the serene nature of this game and its unique mechanics, the ONE gripe we had with it is that it forces other audio apps (music/podcasts) to mute. We rarely write reviews and this a thing that actually prompted us to comment in it as we really really do not like it.

We wasnt expecting a whole lot of this game as we tend to lose interest in puzzle games pretty quickly. The graphics are beautiful and the music isnt distracting. The gameplay? Annoying. Other than showing you how to move the cards and build houses and get hints, there are no instructions for this game. Want to know what this card does without clicking it? Too bad. Want to know what this random asset is? Click on it and figure out how you messed yourself up. Want to get further help? LOL – silly, thats not what the help button is for! It just explains the mechanics of the cards. Also, the story makes no sense! We get that its a slice of life/trip down memory lane kind of deal, but we have no idea what Im looking at in the cutscenes. Whos eyes are those? Why are they different colors? Is the main character aware of the eyes and therefore interact with them? Your guess is as good as ours because thats not explained – ever. The whole thing feels pointless.

The gameplay is fun until it becomes repetitive. If the play scenes were a little longer and perhaps a little more complex, it would be even more fun. As others have stated, the cut scenes are a pain. There is no way to skip them, and they provide no additional details on how to solve the next level. To the developer, please add a Skip button, or better yet an option in the settings to always skip the cut scenes. This way the game flows a lot quicker.

We like the puzzle with the cards, it feels creative and pleasant to interact with. But the story is confusing. We dont understand what the cut scenes talked about.

We played this all the way through when it was new. We decided to play it again on iOS 15.3, and now we cant get through more than 15 or 20 levels without the game resetting our progress. Id love to be able to play it again and bump it up to 5 stars if this gets fixed.

Hey snowman all you needed was a double tap to expand or collapse cards. We get why you picked pinch and spread to do this but its gimmicky and a pain. Double tap is clearly a better option. Keep it simple. This kinda kills the enjoyment for us. Game looks really nice but its kinda slow and monotonous.

This game looks great but is frustrating. The pace is slow. There are several things that look like they can be interacted with (household items, people, signs) and seem to invite action (ghost people reading a sign) but do nothing, leading to a lot of useless tapping to convince yourself that theres nothing to be done. Then you might notice the icon in the lower left and decide to see if there is more info there. You might tap the card deck and see some individual cards. What happens when you tap these unmanned cards? Some explanation of what your doing? A detailed view of that card? No, your level gets reset to the beginning without warning, and that card disappears. Expecting other great random frustrations from this game, we think Ill stop here at the beginning where its left us.

3.5 Stars as is. Its a fun puzzle game and a very unique concept. Id give it 4 stars if it werent for the weird, long cut scenes. At least give players the option to hit a skip button or something. Either that or work the back story into the game play. The scenes are really bizarre!

The puzzles are pretty good! However, after completing each one we had to sit through a long and inscrutable cutscene or two. Story should be a reward for overcoming a challenge, not a punishment! Oh also it looks amazing on iPad. Mixed bag, we guess.

Beautiful design, interesting puzzles, helpful hints. But what has us baffled is when we’ve positioned the player at a stage of the level, go to move the cards into their next position and for some reason, the player starts in motion climbing down from where we’ve just positioned them. Now we have to redo everything to get the player back to where they were, because, though they can climb down, they inexplicably cant climb up!

We really like this game, its relaxing and the quality of the graphics is awesome. Our only qualm is that the game is inconsistent with where we leave off every time we exit and re-enter the game. We have progressed a bit but Im taking the game little bits at a time and there have been instances where the game opens up and Im WAAAAY behind in levels that we have passed a few days ago with no way to get back to where we were. And then other times it plops us right back into where we were. We just dont love playing roulette every time we open the app. ICloud box is checked and it logs into our Apple account when the app opens so Im really not sure how this keeps happening. Bummed out and hope this is fixable.

Please save the game so when we start the app back up were not 5 stages behind. Gotta save better. Then well rate the 5.

We’ve been playing for about a week and each time we open the app after a day or so, our progress isnt fully saved and we have to repeat at least 3 levels. We wont play again for a while. The puzzles were fun though.

First few levels were very relaxing.. Level with the pink clouds feels buggy-used cards to lower platform, but the new platform is unclickable (not even an X(cant go there) notification. Latest ios-12promax.

We like the simplicity of this puzzler of trying to guide the character to the final destination in each level. It has a feel similar to The Gardens Between, where it tells a coming of age story with minimalism and symbolism in its surroundings and short cutscenes. For QoL, the game couldve benefitted with an undo button as the later stages if you happen to mess up or accidentally move the character off their position then you have to re-setup everything again which gets tiresome especially how slow the character moves. We havent fully grasped the story yet as its very subtle with its storytelling as you interpret what is happening since theres no dialog, we were curious to see where it goes but… Our major factor to our score was that there is a major save bug with this game which we’ve lost our progress twice already after we were more than halfway completed. Not sure why it did as our local storage and iCloud has plenty of space available. But after the 2nd time, its not worth our time to redo it all over again a 3rd as the game isnt compelling enough for us to repeat after this issue. Recommend to wait till this bug is fixed before playing this game.

We love the game but needs a lot of improvements. The major problem is that every time we stop playing, the game log out itself and lose all the progress we made and back to wherever they want and we have to play again the levels we’ve already played. Theres no option to save before logging out. The story of the boy is confusing and theres no option to skip it. We stopped playing the game because Im tired of playing the same levels over and over again.

Maaan – so this was one of the original Apple Arcade titles that got us excited about the service at launch. Its taken over a year to finally give it a whirl, so imagine our disappointment in coming to terms with just how dreadfully boring this game actually is. On paper, this game should be a slam dunk – clever and beautiful art direction, chill tone with a touch of somber, and puzzles that are juuuust a little smarter than we am. So why is it just not fun to play? We dont actually have the answer, but the game is a slog to work through.

We LOVE playing this game but the cut scenes BLOW mines eventually we stopped playing. Sad cause we really enjoyed it, the actual game play is awesome the cutscenes though are like depressing commercial breaks. Please give the option to skip!

We downloaded this because it promised a story, and the artwork and environments are beautiful so we thought this would be enjoyable. Instead its completely frustrating, there is zero dialog (in English anyway) and no narration or explanation of anything that happens or why peoples ghosts/memories keep appearing and even where the cards come from and what is happening at all. The end result is a jumbled seemingly random sequence of cutscenes where nothing is ever explained, not even the basic stuff like the characters, their names and their relationships with each other. Its really a shame because with some dialog and narration (doesnt even need to be voiced, even just having text appearing on the screen when you click on objects) would be awesome. It is a shame because the story looks like it might be interesting if you could know anything about what is actually happening. Instead its like watching a movie with the sound off, and worse since the story is told in a series of unconnected scenes. The puzzles arent bad but theyre really too easy. Like other reviewers have said once you figure out a few tricks the solutions are all basically the same. It could really use more mechanics of things you could do with the cards. Personally we also wish the environments were more interactive in any way. At least like a point and click adventure with areas to explore, things to collect or find (even just easter eggs, or more story based where you could get narration by clicking on things.

We are playing this game regularly at night because its very relaxing and puts us to sleep. But theres a bug that happens. When we click on hints the app closes and goes to our home screen. Not sure why this just randomly started we’ve tried a hard reset on our device and clearing space in our memory. Its unfortunate because Ill prolly stop playing it.

The visuals and sound are lovely and the card folding/unfolding feels nice, but we quit very early. It feels like the aesthetic and the attempted story work against the game’s puzzle nature. The detailed environment makes us want to explore and try things, but it’s not that kind of game you expand, collapse, and rearrange boxes to unlock cutscenes, and that’s it. And all we got out of the few cutscenes we watched is that some people talked no sense of the content, mood, or importance. The narrative aspect also frustrates us because we have no clear sense of why we’re moving thru the levels or why buildings and doors made of cards are a thing. If the game were more purely a puzzler, this wouldn’t matter the goal is to solve the puzzles and the card-buildings are just a quirky choice. But half burying the puzzle nature under the story and aesthetic changes our expectations and leaves us disappointed.

This would be a solid 4+ star rated game if not for the awful issue with saving progress. We have had to replay more than 10 levels, sometimes more than once, after the game resumes and dumps us back at a spot that we previously finished. It is extremely frustrating and kills the excitement and enthusiasm for finishing the story,

Game freezes over and over iPad Air 4th gen and iPhone 11 Pro Max with the latest iOS update as 05 18 2021. On the last stage after just finishing it, it froze so we closed the game and it reset back to the first stage when we had all of them done.

Like everyone here, the lack of saved progress for us is a big problem. If the developer doesnt want to support the app any longer, we totally understand. But it should be in Apple Arcade if it no longer works properly. Snowman usually does a much better job than this.

First 5 minutes of this game and we were instantly disappointed. So much attention to the artwork and the actual game itself is numb. Why do developers put so much effort into looks if they arent going to do so with the actual gameplay itself. First and foremost for Apple TV users a controller is a must and there is no support with this game. Dealing with the ATV remote is an awful experience. Second, you must abide by the little circles. No room for exploring just select a circle and the little person moves. Tedious AF. Third, after 5 minutes of frustration, upset enough to right a review and then delete this terrible game. Apple, if youre going to require a subscription for games like this you need to work a little better or else Apple Arcade is gonna be just another failed attempt at Mac entering the video game scene.

The character keeps falling off the of the building while we are trying to solve the puzzle with the deck of cards. So we basically am fighting with the character to stand still and the deck of cards.
