Windosill Reviews

We tried out this game only because we liked feed the head. But it was so good !!!10 stages of tricky puzzles and fun fun fun! And only two bucks? This should be like $6!

We love this game so much! Our mom got it for us and we loved it! We have wanted it when we were little and it was AWESOME! No bugs, no glitches, all fine!

We play this game about once a year. Something about it is just magical to us.

Our mom had this on her iPad when we were much younger, maybe 8 years old. Its a great game, tho Im not sure if you could even really call it a game. The experience is about a cute little toy car, moved by your finger, going through different rooms with simple puzzles. If you are looking for a fun experience that takes ~10-20 minutes to complete, this is a great one!

This is a prime example of an imagination come to life. The visuals fit the theme of Vectorpark, the gameplay is unique, and the puzzles are creative. If youre a fan of games with an oddly satisfying puzzle game, give this one a go.

This game is so good and we love the thought that has to go into each level. The only issue we have with this game is how short it is. We have been playing this game ever since we were a toddler and we remember it being way longer. It only takes about 2 minutes to complete every stage so it doesnt take that long to complete the whole thing. We would love to see more levels to play in the future!! Other than that, this game is amazing!

This is one of our favorite games of all time, and we’ve played a lot of them. Its so fun that we watch others play it and thats fun too ( we dont usually watch others play games). The imaginative visuals, the innovative style, the puzzle craft – we love it all. The first level is an ingenious way to introduce the game. It can be the hardest level, but once you get it, the structure for engaging the game is born. This game helped us see how we think, and thats perhaps the most intriguing part. What is a red herring? What goes with what? Does this require divergent exploration or linear thinking or sequencing? Or, to simply wallow in the sheer joy of play throughout. Yes, its very short, but so worth the price. Highly recommended. We eagerly await another by this developer artist and will gladly pay for it too… No ads, pure no words needed engagement!

Our 2.5 year old toddler loves this, But recently it looks transparent. We think it happened during a recent iOS update. It just looks weird and isnt as enjoyable.

Windosill is an excellent puzzle game for all ages. It has interesting and whimsical gameplay, a nice story, and beautiful and intriguing art. Even after a full play-through there are still small details and hidden functions to discover. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who wants a puzzling, pretty, but relaxing app!

This helps kids develop problem solving skills by engaging their natural curiosity. Even if theyre too young to solve, theyll spend time enjoying all the hidden pieces. Reviewers mentioning they solved too fast probably didnt look at the age recommendation. Our 4 year old loves this app, and there is nothing like it. We do want more levels!

Like playing through a dream. We’ve loved this game for a long time and we have been excited to share it with our children now. They love it as well.

This is a wonderful puzzle game, with fantastic artwork and a challenging (unstated) goal. This game allows you to explore the entire environment, which gives quite a bit of replayability for such a short game. And that is our only complaint about this game: we wish it was 10 times longer! Worth the purchase! Bought the game on recommendation from Graham Linehan (this developer created menus for The I.T. Crowd DVD.) Also, we highly recommend Levels, another game by the same publisher.

Toy gaming (Vignettes, GNOG) is an exciting, imaginative form of app gameplay that pushes amazing creative boundaries, and Windowsills colorful adventure is one of the first to do it. Its a bizarre little gem that at times requires odd solutions, but none too difficult that you give up entirely. The game is, however, way too short for its price; we completed it in 20 minutes max and we simply dont see how it can extend for two hours. There is a neat unlockable after the game is completed, but it isnt enough for true replay value. And the lack of even a simple soundtrack to compliment the quirky sound effects is a missed opportunity. Overall, though, the game is quite enchanting and laid the groundwork for such a fun kind of puzzle.

The game only had 11 stages. It didnt even take us 5min to finish it. This game has such high reviews it makes us wonder if we missed something? If not then its such a waste of money and we wish we could get our money back. We’ve never written a review like this before but paying money for a game that didnt even last 5min is ridiculous.

This is a super fun app to explore and play with. Honestly, never played euthanasia anything like this before. Wish it went on forever.

Apps by Vectorpark are incomparable to anything else as a combination of beautiful minimalist art and interactive design. We feel inspired every time we play with one. Now we enjoy them with our 3-year-old and their value has gone up exponentially. It would be a shame to ruin any of the surprises by describing them here, so allow us to simply say: get this and the rest of the Vectorpark apps, touch every part of them, and youll be glad you did.

Thanks for making it work on iPhone!

Love this game. Every little discovery is a "wow!" moment full of amazement.

Thank you. Truly incredible. Surprising, fun, just boiling with creative thinking, one of a kind.

We LOVED this little game. But PLEASE create more levels! We were heartbroken that it ended so soon. We would happily pay for more levels!

This game is amazing but the night we got it, we finished it in like 10 minutes. It’s REALLY fun but it should be a lot longer. We were so exited to buy it but then we finished it really shortly. It should be so much longer.

This game is really cool and artsy. But it only has about 11 short lived levels. We would spend maybe $.99 on this, but we decided to spend $3 on it. Not worth the price, but it is what the description says. We were done in under 20 minutes.

We love this game so much but there are these annoying sounds when we try to open a door and when we interact with the stars in the sky. Can you please fix this. Otherwise we love your games and keep up the good work.

We think its super fun and interesting but you should add more levels please.

This game is fun, and creative, but trippy as f**k.

A constant surprise through every door. It’s nit just for kids.

A short game with no apparent plot, but enough creativity and genius for a lifetime. Worth it’s price, no question. PLEEAAASE make more levels.

Yes, the game is fairly short, but it is so interactive and there are so many little hidden details that you’ll find yourself playing it through several times. It’s also absolutely GORGEOUS and it’s obvious that the author put a ton of effort in to it, right down to the tiniest little detail. We just wish there were more levels (fingers crossed)!

We got this for our wife but found myself getting into this unassuming puzzler as much as she did. Gorgeous visuals, atmospheric audio and effects, pulls you in and happily keeps you solving the dreaminess of each new vignette. No it isnt hardcore but, at times it can make you work for the payoffyoull be glad you do. Highly recommended and we look forward to another installment.

Our kids and we really enjoy playing Windowsill. It is a unique piece of interactive artwork. :0 )

This game is as of yet an undiscovered classic but just because it’s not well known give it a try short but well worth the price.

Some of the words that describe this game: intriguing, curious, satisfying, peaceful, dreamy, artistic, challenging, relaxing. The way the elements move and sound really pull you in, and everything is very well done. It challenges you, but never makes you frustrated. This has been a favorite of ours to show people.

Happy was the day that a friend of a friend told us about this app… While many apps have been added and since removed from our iPad Windosill stays on… It seems new whenever we play with it… And it is absolutely addictive to watch others figure it out in new ways. Thanks for the fun !

Our son is 4 and it took us a few minutes to figure out the goal of the game but after that it was ON. The app is very enjoyable, engaging and really made our boy think. We love it!

Beautiful soulful graphics, no distracting ads, and genuine visual puzzles. Children like it too, though feed the head is a bit simpler.

Beautiful puzzley fun for everyone.

Absolutely amazing app. Mind-blowing. Played it with our 4-year old son who loves it. Very different. No loud fake screaming BS for kids–they must use their minds to figure things out. Unparalleled app.

No words can describe this… Thing. We struggle to call it a game, and yet we had just as much fun. Experience it yourself, if for no other reason than to see the pretty art they made.

For those of you saying that there’s only one level, that’s not true. In the bottom shelf of the first stage, there should be a car, like the one in the app icon. There should also be a cube. Pick up the cube, put it through the hole in the wall of the shelf, open the door, and be on your way. The rest of the levels involve finding the cube that opens the door so that the car may proceed. It’s a very fun, strange puzzle game if you can actually figure out the first level. Which, no offense, isn’t that hard to do. Our only complaint is that some of the later levels are too hard, and you just click a bunch of stuff hoping it’ll work. However, it’s over all a very good game!

These levels are healthy for the brains strategics, you guys rock !!!

Good for the brain. Hope you add more levels.

Absolutely brilliant point and click style puzzle game. Loved it.

This is a very good game. We disagree with some other reviews in that we don’t think the graphics are that incredible, good but not incredible. We very much like the way the game is a bit of a challenge but at only one point does it become so difficult that is just plain dumb luck if you get through the scene. We would give this game five stars but it is a very very short game.

Marvelous little game, absolutely stunning graphics, clever puzzles and very charming. It’s a little gem, worth every penny. I, too, hope the developer creates more games… Great creative mind, there!

Gave a bad review earlier. We than looked at this app more for its artsy ness than puzzle ness. Give it a five star review now.

This is the best game we have ever played and ever will play. It is worth every penny and will be willing to pay much more for next game. Please please please create a second, and third, and forth one!!!!!!!!!! We don’t care if it’s 5 to 10 bucks we want it!!!!!!! Don’t hesitate and buy it right nowwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing app. Curious surprises at every level! Wish it was longer . . . Other than that, great job!

Still coming back to this puzzle, so does our 5 year old grandson for over a year. We both wish for added levels or updates that change it up some more!
