But we have to say that, wp2 is the best until now even with the wp3. Wp2 has more complex going and the experience is wonderful. Wp3 has better cg and unique character design. However, compare to wp2, wp3 is kind of incomplete.

Can you please add korean?? Thank you!!!

Thank you developers for providing a stress free game. The story was entertaining. The progress/grind was balanced well. And the app performed as well as our money spent upon purchasing the title. In other words thank you for keeping your word unlike other developers who expect payment but produce junk that doesnt work. We look forward to purchasing other material from your studio.

This game is well thought out. Stories. Characters. Battle mechanics. They are all great! We’re not sure if pieberry is from WitchSpring but if so then that’s a really thoughtful connection of the first game to the next!

Title says it all, you start off small and work till ur big :D.

This is one of the best games we have ever played! We first played it around a year ago and we always find myself re-downloading it to play again! The graphics are some of the best we’ve ever seen, and the storyline is so cute and detailed! We also adore the music, it’s really nice and calming. Overall, 10/10! It’s definitely worth the money!

Our ex-girlfriend recommanded us this game, at that time we couldn’t find iOS verson. Now finally we download it. It’s pretty good, nice characters, we like Luna so much. Great bgms through all the game.

An rpg that we loved and finished.

So we’re one of "those people" who never review any games. But we loved this game so much, something needs to be said! The graphics are on point amazing. Extremely rare typos in the dialogue, maybe a misplaced letter once or twice every chapter. The art is fantastic! The controls stick a bit in corners but easy to overcome & forgotten quickly. Was upset when the story starts coming to an end, so already excited for the developers new sequel… :D If you like games like harvest moon, especially cutesy graphics like HV, this would be for you.

Combat is pretty simple. You can grind too easily and over level yourself without realizing it, so be careful and keep things challenging for yourself. That said, the characters, art, and music are surprisingly charming and likable. Very cute with some clever ideas. Its definitely more than the sum of its parts. Not a bad 10-12 hour RPG!

Need more games like this. Reminds us of old school rpg on Nintendo. We seldom ever pay for mobile games and we didn’t mind paying $3.99 for this game at all. Play it through and even all the post game side quests :) – PanchiraSama.

Was not sure about this at first, but it was cute and serious. Multiple endings. Good story.

We love this game and it would be amazing if you could add controller support.

The witchspring series never disappoints us. Tons of fun playtime + cute illustrations = rainbow awesomeness.

The Witch Spring series could be the best games we’ve played on SmartPhone! We really love the story and characters. Hope there will be more game like these.

We finished this game with the best ending possible and was almost brought to tears. We love the story and friends you make along the way. This is definitely a game we would love to see get promoted and we can’t wait to see more of these stories in the future!

We’ll tell you what you need to know about this game and you can make the decision from there. If you think actions are more helpful than words, go try out the Lite version (it’s free and covers only chapter 1). You will like this game if: – you like anime/cartoon style rpgs like Wadanohara, Undertale, old Final Fantasy, Rune Factory, and/or Animal Crossing. – you enjoy rich storylines with beautiful character development. – you go crazy over collecting every single item, exploring every map and maxing out your stats (not needed to finish the story). You may have these problems with the game: – pretty bad UI. The main reason why this review falls short of a star. Estimating time of day is tough (and there are critical storyline events happening only at night). Saving is not really needed since the game autosaves, but it doesn’t even warn you before a major event occurs so you kind of have to save in your home whenever you feel is the right time. Maps are useful but could have been implemented better as overlays with toggle options. Maybe a minimap, since you can’t zoom out of the room map anyway. – movement feels clunky. One wrong tap and you could be collecting an item, fighting a monster or going back to the map you just came from. Overall thoughts: we still recommend this game despite its subpar UI. It is worth its price (this is coming from someone who is so stingy with the app store, she’s never made purchases prior to this game and it had to take 4 hours of playing the demo to make her buy this game). There are 5 chapters and some postgame quests/challenging bosses, so you’ll be spending quite a bit of time training your stats. Personally, we spent 9 hours to complete the main storyline. Can’t wait to try WS1 and we’re eagerly awaiting for WS3 to launch next month!

Im kind of disappointed because we were expecting a 100 day limit like the first one, but then we just started playing and realized there isnt much of a limit. Im not saying the game isnt good, but we were really hoping for something like the first one where you would have a sense of urgency since there was a time limit. Honestly the game is pretty good, but Im comparing it to the first one which we really liked.

If you played the original Witch Spring, this game will be a breath of fresh air. The setting of this game is essentially an AU (alternate universe) which in the perspective of a side character from the original game. Besides that, surprisingly few things change, save for a larger world, the ability to explore the sea, and several new characters. The game does expand on the lore of established characters, so there’s that. Exploration-wise, this game is intuitive if you read the dialogue. If you don’t read the dialogue, it is possible to get lost. Early on, it’s not an issue because of the limited size of the map you have access to at the start. However, later in the game, it can be a heck of a mess figuring out where to go, especially regarding the protagonist of the first game. Oh yes, and there are cosmetics, along the lines of character skins. They change the character portrait as well, for additional value. In terms of non-combat mechanics, the 100 day counter has been removed. There’s more of a lean towards exploration and fighting difficult bosses while within the story, as the ending changes the more companions the protagonist makes within the story. You’ll quickly understand that that usually equates to beating the stuffing out of bosses that would probably wipe the floor with you. Thankfully, the ingame grind isn’t too bad. Combat is a bit different from the previous game. Physical attacks have been buffed considerably, but magic attacks still cast a huge shadow over ’em. The time of day also affects magic, with the protagonist dealing more damage under a full moon. You’ll be taking advantage of this mechanic often, though it won’t be a necessity. Notably, magic has been reworked in this game. Magic of different elements have different side effects specific to an element. For example, ice-elemental attacks slow enemies down. Also, healing magic is finally a thing. About time. Plot is memorable enough, especially for a mobile phone game. Again, if you’ve played the original WS, you’re going to appreciate the improvements to the English. If you haven’t played the original WS, take solace in the fact that the English is understandable, because it can get… Bad in some parts of the game. Nothing too horrible, however, and you’ll quickly get used to it. Postgame is dumb. In the original game, it was usually overkill to have over 1000 hp. In this game, assuming you are going for full completion, it’s not unheard to go beyond 10000 hp. This is in no small part due to the fact that post game bosses have attacks that slowly deal more damage as the fight goes on. Some bosses have attacks and stats that scale to your stats, for added misery. And unfortunately, in this game, you do not get the robes to auto-revive yourself. One particular boss is nigh-impossible to beat without grinding your stats to obscene levels, and using a special kamikaze attack whose damage scales with your HP, MP, and magic power. It probably still won’t kill. That boss is actually painful to even think about. Speaking of robes, you have more options for weapons. Instead of having the choice of "wand" or "forgot to get wand" a la the original game, you can now equip yourself with swords, wands, and other knickknacks. Unfortunately, most of them are pretty bad. Some boost your physical attack, some boost your magic attack, some boost both. Some even afflict the side effects that we mentioned before. Some notable ones even slowly boost your damage over time, mimicking the damage scaling over time bosses have. We myself used the ice hammer for most of the game, and eventually switched off to the upgraded version of the starting wand from the start of the game. Never really found a need for other weapons. The early game grind is broken. The game gives you access to good magic power boosting items ludicrously early on. The boss that drops these items respawns quickly enough, and under a full moon, becomes a slightly more difficult version that drops an even better version of the item. This boss is literally two screens away from the start of the game. It pretty much invalidates the difficulty of the mandatory portions of the story. The not-so-mandatory parts will require a bit more work, and a maybe a creative build, but again, it’s ridiculously easy to hit the visible magic power cap at the start of the game. Postgame grinding is extremely tedious. We recommend skipping the postgame unless you have plenty of time on your hands. It mostly involves beating the tar out of 3 specific bosses. Each of which have an extremely long respawn timer. Training was buffed. Some training regimens will increase your HP or MP not by a fixed number, but by a percentage of the HP or MP you already have. These gains cap at 50, though. Good game. Translation is meh, which we suppose is part of the charm at this point. Plot and characters are good, if a bit predictable. Postgame is alright, except for one boss. Lol alfredo.

We love the story and characters that you get to meet and characters are all so cute. We would love it. If you can buy the characters new dress during you games start. We wish rpg was more like this. Not long or short.

This game is a good choice for those who played oceanhorn and loved it. But the battle system is turn based and we think this is an amazing mix of turn based rpgs and zeldalike games. There’s no in app purchase that means don’t worry about the game story. Thank u developers for making this and we hope u will continue this type of franchise.

We have not played yet, but have been apart of the TouchArcade community since the beginning, and we purchased it on rave reviews there. Will post more later.

Great little game. Graphics are really cute. Translation (to English) is pretty good. The story is good. The control and mechanics work great. Altogether a good premium title, no IAPs just good old fashioned dog style grinding and fun.

So much charm and polish! Great characters, interesting story, fun gameplay, and beautiful music. Highly recommended for those that love RPGs. We can only recommend that they move the battle control menu to the right side instead of on top of the character. Otherwise it’s perfect!
