Its the closest thing to real golf. Forget about the review that uses the algorithm concept to prove this gem doesnt shine. Try the game first, and you tell us this isnt the real thing, the closest youll ever feel to great greenways.
This is a terrific game. Im learning to make hole in one. The entire web site has all kinds of games and they are all good AND ALL FREE.
This game keeps us coming back again and again to try and make those hole in one shots. But it's frustrating when simple shots don't go our way. We can easily spend an hour swinging our club in this fun, yet challenging game.
Tried it for a change and really enjoyed it. Interesting variety of holes and you can improve your accuracy with practice. Fun sound effects. It can be frustrating to have a ball roll all the way down a slope if you over or under shoot, but it won't roll all the way down a slope into the hole sometimes, stopping just short. Grr.
We like to play miniature golf, and this game is as close to it as you can get; without ruining your budget. You can get Eagles, Birdies, Pars, and Bogeys. We just wish it would say what a perfect game is, and whether you had it or not; as in a real game of golf.
We really enjoy this game as a break from other stuff, but rarely play more than a few holes at a time. It isn't really very much like real golf at all, more like miniature golf with a lot of vertical terrain. There are too many holes set on mountain peaks, and it is no fun at all to keep going back and forth. We think our single hole record is 33 strokes. They really need to add a button that lets us take a stroke penalty and move on to the next hole.
Another game we play with our grandson. He always beats us. He's only 5.
Its frustrating to play this game as the the angle and strength of each shot are not predictable from one hole to the next. Seems the developer is intentionally altering the results of shots for some unknown reason.
The results of golf shots aren't consistent. The ball may bounce forward when striking a small upslope and backwards the next time with the same launch angle each time. Rollout isn't consistent either. Draw out the launch arrow the same distance and launch angle two times in a row and the ball will go two separate distances.
We started this game with our iPad 2, Im #1 as far as the most holes played. In September 2017 we got a new iPad Pro. Ive tried to get this game on our new iPad several times WITH MY CURRENT SCORES AND IT JUST WONT ADD HOLES IVE PLAYED. IT STAYS AT 218254 AND we HAVE PLAYED THE GAME SEVERAL TIMES. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! We had this problem once before [on our older iPad]when we lost electricity. We were on the phone for hours with tech support and they tried to fix it. They were useless! We had to give up because it was the 2nd day on the phone [we had other problems to.] we kept playing and we dont know how but it FINALLY started to keep up with us and when we finished a game it had the correct and up to date scores. We have done everything we can possibly think of to fix this problem. We refuse to be on the phone again for hours and hours with tech support. We hate to throw in the towel and never play it again because we do enjoy it, even though it is not always a game of your own skill. We would give this game 5 stars if it wasnt for this issue. BTW, IM SCREWED BECAUSE MY OTHER IPAD IS NOT WORKING, WHERE THE GAME IS ACCURATE. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, we HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MY IPAD PRO AND ITS NOT MY IPAD……IT IS ITUNES. We HAVE 3 MOVIES THAT HAVE 2 COPIES AND THAT IS TAKING UP GB. We WILL GO TO THE APPLE STORE AND THEY WILL FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS AND we WILL HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW MANY GB THAT we WILL GET BACK.
This game is such fun. We spend quite a bit of time waiting – airport, meetings, appointments and we get bored very quickly. These games help so much. Thanks guys – keep it up.
