What Makes Word Colors Stand Out
Word Colors is a new type of word game that allows you to form words, match colors, and multiply your scores. Play against your friends, chat, view statistics, and see how you rank against the people you play the most!
SCORE BIG!
• Matching colors multiplies your score! Form a word with 3 green tiles in a row and get 3 times the points for those tiles. Match 4 in a row and get 4 times the points, etc. Take advantage of “Super Color” and “Wild Color” to change the colors of your tiles. Also, land on "Plus" slots to increase the value of your tiles!
PLAY WITH ANYONE!
• Create a game with your friends, or play with a random opponent. It’s easy to create a game! Just enter your friend’s username, enter your friend’s email address, select from your friend’s list, or play a 'pass and play' game.
FRIENDS LIST!
• A friends list is automatically generated for you. Once you’ve played a game with someone, they are in your friends list. From your friends list you can create games, view statistics, chat, view profile info and more.

Ive played this game for years, but the app is old and doesnt offer much. We dont like that you cant block the ability for another player to message you or to be matched with new games from random players. We really dont want new games because we dont have time and we have to decline them from random strangers and theyll cuss us out for declining their games they start with us.
We love this game. All of the twists make it more challenging. Im not the best at it but its still fun and challenging. We enjoy it very much.
We've played many word games but Word Colors is the most fun by far! Not only is the game challenging, but you get to meet people from all over the world. We've been totally addicted for over 5 years and don't see that changing anytime soon. Great job WC developers.

Word Colors is another good word game with enough to set it apart to make it fun and a worthy addition to any "Wordies" collection. That said, it has two flaws which might be to much for some players. One is the inclusion of the YAWL dictionary as a reference. Calling YAWL a dictionary is stretching the truth. It's more of a list of acceptable letter combinations that can be used. Many of them simply aren't words in any other format. "NY" might warm a Yankee fan's heart, but it is hardly a word. The second issue is that, since the bonus for consecutive letters of one color stays active, the letter "S" is extremely powerful almost to the point of being a "broken" letter. Crappy spellers need merely hoard "S"s to stay in the game. Not a game breaker, but annoying. All in all Word Colors is a fun diversion for wordies. Just throw out some of your old strategy and most of your vocabulary.

Just wished it could connect to Facebook to play with our friends.
Scoring is a bit of work and there's no auto calculate till you do a final submit, so we don't pay much attention to that. Otherwise it's fun.
No longer playing since game has gotten boring. Really needs updates and new features. They also don't care about your suggestions for improvement but then again we don't think they are technically capable of making changes either since the owners only bought the game, they didn't create it.
HORRIBLE dictionary. We prefer to play a game where people use their brains to come up with words they know. This game seems to encourage players to keep trying any combination of letters til they come up with a word that gets accepted. It allows so many ridiculous non-words and it's very frustrating to have an opponent score huge points for playing "gare," "gif," "zau," "zo," or "io" It would never occur to us to even ATTEMPT to place those tiles because they are not words. The examples of crazy non-words is seemingly endless. If you care about words, don't get this game or you'll pull all your hair out and end up looking weird. Oh, and you are invited to play with strangers CONSTANTLY – unbidden. The worst part of that is that when you declined the game you get another request from that person, then you decline that one and it starts a game with you and that person even though you repeatedly declined.
We seriously like this game more than any other game that uses words.
We have a 4S and updated and now we don't get the whole screen! :( very disappointed. We love this game. Please fix or let us installed the previous version. UPDATE: just installed update that says it fixes the missing top rows and it didn't fix it! PLEASE PLEASE fix! We love this game and can not play it! PLUS we paid for it.
We love this game and use to play it all the time. Since the latest "upgrade" we can't see the whole board :(.
This last update 9-22 is terrible. The screen is too large, the entire screen is not visible. It isn't good at all. We have written the developer twice, no fix yet.
Overall play good but no way to track your play against others.
We absolutely love this game. There is such a different strategy than words with friends, scrabble, etc. The color bonus adds a neat twist. In general, players are quick to respond so there is very little wait time between turns. The only caveat is that the dictionary is quite liberal, but then again that is an advantage to both players.

This game is very fun to play when you have nothing to do.
Scrabble or WWF with an awesome twist. Love how the game can can change in an instant! An entirely different challenge and playing defense in this game is of utmost importance! A new strategy w the colors. Love it. Great players. No "cheat apps" made for it so it is honest and real. Recommend to all word geeks.

This game is by far our favorite addiction! The scoring by colors is brilliant. A new twist on an old favorite. We also love the fact that we can play with gamers all over the world. We have made some fantastic new friends! The chat wall is also an added bonus. We are looking forward to an update that allows gamers to ignore the annoying gamers who lost nonsense on the wall. That feature will be celebrated throughout WC land when it arrives. :).

Great game! The more letters of the same color u put together, multiply the score! Fun! And awesome with a wall to chat openly with all players PLUS a private chat! And if that weren't enough, there's plenty of players so u never have to wait for a game.
Great offshoot of words with friends.
Once you get the hang of the color multiplier, you can rack up huge scores. It also moves quickly when submitting your word… When playing with someone in the same room, you hear the turn-change sound almost instantly. We keep recommending it to friends.

Ads a fun twist to the wwf game. Allows you to score points easily and actually come back and win if you get behind. Lots of fun.
This puts a whole new spin on word games! We like it alot.
As long as your opponent doesn't cheat it is really fun, however we find even when they do it is a teaching tool.
We have come back to update our rating…although it initially started off slow for us, we have been playng a lot with folks all around the world and have been challenged by not only finding the best word, but to also incorporate the different colors. Pretty good game.
Completely fun to play at your leisure. We occasionally question some of the acceptable and unacceptable words, but what the heck…this is a great take on an old favorite. :).

We love it. However, we do wish as we p,aced tiles it told us if it was a word like Abble Dabble does. Our friends are giving up on it because it doesn't have that feature.
