Game was fun but after the 1.3.9 update, the game will no longer open. We tap the games icon, the game tries to start and immediately crashes.
We would love to give this app a higher rating, but Im fed up with the constant ads. We understand the ads are to keep the app free, but we feel they are excessive. Every time we finish a puzzle we have to watch a 30 second ad, which completely throws off our wanting to continue playing. We hope they can find a balance by either shortening the ads or not having to watch one after completing every puzzle.
Once again have finished All the Stages. When will you be adding Additional Stages.
Ive played this game for YEARS!! Im absolutely FURIOUS after we updated our iPads – we can no longer get this game. Ive lost all our points and games on both devises. Ridiculous.

We have a TBI and this game is great therapy.
Very disappointed in Word Cross. We installed it for our 90-year old mother. Her "version" has more advertisement time allotted to it than her actually being able to play the game. Perhaps ours is an older version despite a newer iPhone. Literally there's an ad after every clearance of each four layers to get to Level Clear. Ive been playing this for a long time. An advertisement popped up. All of a sudden we were alerted by by ISP something malicious was happening. Wont be playing this anymore.
If we want to watch a bunch of long boring ads we'll turn on Fox News.
Used to play this all of the time and really enjoyed it. We just downloaded after not using for a long time and the constant video ads are miserable. We would gladly pay to eliminate the ads but no option to do so. Looks like we'll be deleting this one.
We have played this game over some months, we play it most during our leisure, till we changed our phone we realized we cannot continue playing from level we stopped on our old phone using the same account we used In downloading the first app, but then we have completed over 1500 level in the levels ….! And we noticed downloading the new one there was no levels as we loved in the other app on our old phone. We are writing this review for you to make this game with logins if possible, so that whatever level we stop we can continue even on another device, because we cant start over and over when we change our phone, best wishes, Thank you. We enjoy the game, but there are toooo many ads. Cant take it any more.
We get all the words except one come back the next day and the puzzle is all cleared off have to start all over dont appreciate it. We do write them down to keep ahead but still nuisance.
This game is so fun and all the decorations are good and Im so good at the challenges. Thanks again for the game we have been looking for the whole time bye make more awesome games.
We love it thank you its really fun and addicting and its very calming too.we think its one of the best Word Crosses.But we do want to add something.Why not put relaxing music we think it would perfect the game nicely.Because then its very enjoyable.
Way too many ads! And they use to be 10 or 15 seconds. Now they are a full minute long.
In recent days this app freezes our iPad upon opening. Please fix the app.
We are on level 2267, and love this game… But am seriously considering deleting it. We dont know why you needed to change the format. When you have to stop during a puzzle (which happens a lot with us) and open the game to resume, all the words that were found are gone!!!! Very annoying! Please fix this.
Tried purchase 99 cent no ad twice, took our 99 cents twice and still getting ads like clockwork. After we hit purchase, it states purchase complete then just sits there and spins and wont leave store oage. Tried twice had reboot iphone both times. Before we switched to iphone this app worked great on android but been easy to get stuck on both recent iphones.

App not completely compatible with IPhone 11. We often have to close out of the app and reopen it several times before it will actually work.
Loved playing this game but now it freezes up freezes our phone and doesnt save what Ive already done it use to save our game and where we left off but now we have to redo the same game and finish it before we leave the app Id give it a 5 star but is not working right now.

We started off with only one level ( the easy level) and a family member was able to switch to different levels. Then we were able to switch and then it stopped. We've completed the hard level and cannot go to the other levels to complete. Four months since last update and nothing since. Seems like slackers to us. No more will we download anymore apps from this developer.
We enjoyed this game for a long time (currently at level 476). But as of 3/21/20 the game makes you watch 30-second ads between every level. Nope. Plus it now takes a long time to load, frequently freezes, and sometimes never loads at all. Do developers just lose their minds at some point and give up on quality? Its soon coming off our phone.
An ad every level is ridiculous! Not playing it anymore. We have several others we can play that only have ads every 3-4 levels.
Played till level 252. Freezes then back to level 1 dont waste your time.
We used to love this app! But too many bugs! Now the latest is that it erases all the words we have found so far! So annoying and it freezes way too many times! On the other hand good thing we didnt pay for this and it bugs dont get fix… Bye bye Felicia.
We love this game! Play it all the time but for the last 3 or 4 days it wont load. Stays stuck on main home screen. Its not linked to anything so we know if we uninstall we wont play it anymore. Did the update & accepted new agreement. So sad.
We love this game and play it daily! However, when we switched to an iPhone 11, we have been unable to play it. It locks up as soon as we try to open the game up. If it cant be made compatible with iPhone 11, Ill have no choice but to delete it. Sad, because we really like the game.
Dont delete this app to fix it, youll loose all your progress. Not connected to FaceBook to track score or Apple Game Center.

Good game but Lately there are way too many interruptions with freezing. We reported the game with concerns but still no responds so Ill just delete it.
The latest update has completely screwed up the game. We cant play because its always frozen.

Constantly freezes The only way to correct is the delete app then reinstall But it just happens again Hope you can fix.
Our husband an we both had this game on our iPad, our husband got it up to level 742 and the game froze up, but it also froze up the whole iPad, he couldnt use it. After awhile he was able to get his iPad working so he tried other games and it worked fine, so he tried playing your game and the game froze up his iPad again, after awhile he finally got his iPad working, so we deleted your game and uploaded it again, we played on it for awhile and it froze up again, dont download it it could ruin your iPad! We deleted it off our iPad also, dont want our iPad ruined.
The game starts to load then immediately freezes and it has been like this for a day now, so Im giving it one star for now, although we do enjoy the game.

We got this game because our husband loves it. We almost caught up to him and then the game froze. We didnt want to delete it – we were on level 1156, but it wouldnt work. Deleted it and started again, only to have it freeze again. So Frustrating.
You should take care of your apps.
We wish the game would be as advertised!!! You download it and its just making words from single letter blocks. All the word games do it. At least the many we have downloaded.
Since our latest phone update we cant get the game to load the first time so we lose our daily hint. This doesnt happen on our iPad just our iPhone. The ads are a little ridiculous.
We loved this game until a recent change makes us watch long video ads to get access to points we earned with extra words. Wont be playing until this is fixed.

UPDATE: Ive lowered our rating from 3 stars to 2 because the puzzles are so easy they can be finished in seconds. Then you yawn through ads longer than the time you played. We expected them to get harder as the levels increased, but they didnt. We still think the game is O.K. But more for children than adults. A 10 year old might find them challenging and give the app a good review, but we think most adults will get bored fast. We dont want to discourage or insult the programmers, but the reason we gave it a low rating is because we dont mind watching ads as a trade-off for a well designed game, but we feel this one abuses that concept. We suspect the app is just an excuse to display as many ads as possible without investing much time and effort in development. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This isnt a bad game; its just nothing special. We finished 75 puzzles to give the game a fair chance. It was easy and relaxing, but soon got boring. Maybe it gets more challenging later, but then we feel they should increase the difficulty sooner. Or maybe its for children. We got tired of sitting through so many invasive ads because there was nothing exciting to look forward to. Maybe if it had more interesting graphics, or there was a payoff in the form of seeing your score compared to other people, or you were working towards a goal, it would have retained our interest.
Fun game to tease your brain into finding words that are NOT what theyre looking for.
We downloaded this app because in the ads we saw the words scrolling and you had to swipe them. There is no option to play that way. Its just like every other word game. Total waste of our time since we already have games like this. Why do you advertise the game one way when its not like that at all.
Getting very annoyed with the frequency of ads popping up.
