This game was one first game to load on our phone and we loved it. Leveled up high Was our favorite game While playing last night we got a pop up that said we were hacked so we deleted the game. Really liked this game and the added smaller games If we reload it we have start all over again.
This is a very fun game that really makes you think. That being said it is SUPER aggravating that every time you clear a puzzle you have to watch some ad for another game. We understand advertising is how these games exist but really? We have stopped playing several fun and entertaining games because of this.
Ive had this game for over a decade. It was challenging and faster Ads now too.
Im only leaving out one star because we love this game, but not the glitches. The screen always freezes every time we play it. Today, its been doing it more than usual. Is there a way you could fix this problem? Other than that, its a relaxing game. It sharpens your mind and you even learn new words.
Been using this app for many years. On level 22, 971. Suddenly ads will appear after each level. The only way we found to get back to the game if you close and go back into it. Dont think Ill be playing much anymore.
How can they claim improved experience with long constant long winded ads practically after every move. Used to play this game constantly, even entering contests they used to hold Thursday thru Sunday, winning a couple. But something has drastically changed. Its no longer fun, or even a game we would recommend. Too bad, at the time it was one of the best, now one of the worst IMO. Will likely delete, am sure there are others just as good as they used to be.
This game is a fun game and we do like to play it, HOWEVER dont ever play it while you are anywhere that a sudden loud blast of noise will be a problem. We would play it way more except you finish a quiet game and this incredibly loud and jarring ad unexpectedly begins to play. We dont want to have to remember to turn our sound off and then back on, so we dont okay it nearly as much as we would.
This is our second review. Its the same but just wanted to reiterate. We love the game as a whole for playing on planes, keeping our mind sharp etc but this is the second time the game has become ridiculous. The first time was around level 3000 and its the same now. Recently we won a tournament and all was good but we also paid for coins. That, along with hitting 3000 was the end. All of a sudden we have an average of 30 words in the bonus words, every puzzle has words they literally are guesses and are scientific etc where no one would know them and they almost force you to wait for coins. We get making a game harder. But this is more than that and seems geared toward money making.
We used to love this game and played a few times a day. Now that ads pop up after 1 turn, Im no longer playing and its very frustrating! Not happy.
Ive enjoyed this game for years until the past few weeks. Now we solve one puzzle and am forced to endure new games that dont interest us at all. We cant get another puzzle without getting completely out of the app. We wont bother anymore.
Ive been playing this word game since 2018. Its our favorite word game ever.
We used to love this game, but now theres so many pop-up ads and commercials for games that we just wanna dump it.
This was our favorite game up until about a week ago, now there are so many ads we hardly play it. So disappointing.
When we started this game a few years ago, we loved it. Now, the ads have tripled in length, are repetitive and have taken ALL of the enjoyment out of playing. We dont mind ads but.its gotten ridiculous.

Yay! Jam Crush is back. Our fav mini game. It's awesome, fun and challenging was so let down to see the only mini game we loved and played consistently not appear this week. Why?! It was clever, cute, and fun! It made you think about strategizing and moving the round blinking pieces through the maze to your best advantage. Please bring it back! The other mini games have reeked.

Great game, played it for years but you have let the ads completely go crazy. Royal garbage wont stop babbling for two minutes plus. Ugh.
We've been playing a long time. The crosswords are a bit repetitive, but mindlessly engaging. We have enjoyed some of the side games, sometimes they lock up or disappear. In the majong game, it may not let you use the "power-ups" like shuffle or magnetize, and then it won't let you give up or go back and you have to close the game and re-open it to continue. The other games like the buses or the screws or the little guys in the maze say they are available for so many hours, but they might disappear for a few hours or a whole day, and the icon is not visible to start play, and then randomly it will appear again? Can that be fixed.
Ive been playing this game for quite some time. Lately, the scores have been MUCH higher than they used to be, resulting in 200-300 coins being awarded, but only 50 are able to be collected. This is ridiculous. Why award that many coins, only to see them wasted. We find it frustrating to say the least.
Too many loud and long ads. We love the game but am so tired of the stupid King game ads. At least having Mute for all those ads would at least somewhat better but not much since they are soooo long.
Bugs abound. Crashes every few minutes and new popups cannot be dismissed.
When we played the extra games that are on this word crossing game, when we watch videos for hints, we never can open the hints. Please fix those bugs otherwise great game.

We get ads keep this a free game. But must we be punished with ads. If you win or lose you have to watch an advertisement. Want free help watch and ad. How about stop the ads every time you win a level. We would give it 5 stars if it wasnt for the ads.
We enjoy this game. It's fun and challenging. Im at level 165 on the side games and for some reason this game just keeps locking up and its horrible. We have lost $5.98 because of those glitches. This needs to be updated OR stop charging for the extra options.
The Starbucks Iced Energy ad freezes so we have to shut down our iPad and reopen the game to continue. Please fix.
We love the game but ads pop up about every minute and are difficult to close without exiting the app completely. Takes the enjoyment out of playing.
App is rated for ages 4+ but ads are for mature individuals. Just a warning for parents!! The game is wonderful, Ive been using this app for years but recently the ads are getting dirty minded. An Ai lady always pops up saying do you want us to take our clothes off? Or Im a virgin blah blah blah.. We skip out of them as fast as we can since our kids like to help find the words with us. Just hate that its rated for younger ages but the ads are not. So yep this is your warning! Word Crossy, do better with choosing your ads.

As a sight impaired woman we very much enjoy doing the cross word puzzles since the letters are large and dark. However the backgrounds are often very light and with white squares it is sometimes impossible to work the puzzle. Can this be corrected? Thank you.
We play this game a lot and enjoy the relaxing tones and fonts. Id give it five stars but for the last update. Now, it crashes all the time.
Can the colors be adjust on some of the games to really differentiate the pieces? We enjoy the game, but we are color deficient and it makes it tougher to play.
We have played over 13,000 puzzles. Need we say more. Very entertaining game. We like the dictionary that one can use when you get a word you are not familiar with to increase your vocabulary. One minor frustration is for plurals or posesives the definition is often the plural of xxx. Where that word is equally unfamiliar. A nice enhancement would allow you to link to the definition of that word. The other nit is from time to time they use a white background which in bright light makes it very difficult to tell for example if it is a seven letter word or two three letter words. Both issues are minor and its a great game.
The game is stuck on level 216. Up until now this app worked fine.
We have been playing this game for a few years. There is one reward (the Ferris wheel where you spin to win various helps) that is completely rigged. Its maddening to watch it.

18,000,000 flowers. And it's taken almost 17 and a half thousand puzzles and probably over a thousand+ days, but we finally got something good on that stupid wheel of fortune spin wheel thing. This morning, it landed on 500 coins. That's a huge giveaway on such a not game of chance. Those who have also had their fill of that wheel know that most days what you land on is a half-price pointer or lightbulb for an hour. So, getting 500 coins after all this time.
Im finding as Im getting older that we cant recall somethings as easily as we used to. This game helps us work our brain out in a pleasant and positive fashion. We feel a sense of accomplishment as well . Really great way to pass the time.
Hope it's dictionary is waaay better that Wordscape's cuz theirs is so inconsistent allowing some colloquial words but not others. What or who powers WordCrossy's dictionary.
Im still looking for a game with more challenge. We know they are out there. We took some recommendations but we want to ward off Alzheimers. We also get tired of watching add. All the games we see are mostly too commercial.
We really like this game but for the last 6 months, Ive had a lot of freezing. If we have something playing in the background, it freezes that too. We played this game for years and never had this trouble. We cant tell you the last time it updated but Im going to have to delete if it continues. Im tired of closing the game and logging back in to play.
Hey we love playing this game and helps calm us down but theres WAY too many ads, like every time we finish a level theres just ad after ad. We hope you understand but this is all we have to say thanks for reading this.
Hate the background scene sometimes when we cant see the letter boxes for the bright background. Is it a 4 letter word or is there a 5th box? AND WHY DO we have to watch an AD as our prize for winning a game? Its not enough to watch ads for a letter when we need a little boost? Anything for a buck we guess take advantage of the little people. Oh and by the way we are on an extremely high level and have won the weekly tournaments. Never spent a dime.
The daily prize is rigged. If you get the spin option, expect it to be 50% off almost every single time despite there only being 2 on the wheel. Ive tracked it and 7 out of 8 were 50% off coins. If that isnt rigged then its just bad development / coding work.
We like this app but purchased it last month and now it wont work at all and wants us to pay more. Wish they would fix this.
