What Makes Word Fit Puzzle Stand Out
Fit words into a grid in this popular game, often seen in puzzle magazines as fill-ins. The grid looks like a crossword, but there are no normal clues. Instead you must find the right place in the grid for each word from a given list. The game has an easy to use interface. Either drag-and-drop the words to their correct position, or tap the grid and then the word.
The words to find are in English, or you can play in 35 other languages.
• Play an unlimited number of different puzzles!!
• Multiple difficulty options. Play one of 10 built in difficulty levels, or use the custom mode to configure the difficulty of the game to exactly what you want
• You can also look for sequences of digits or symbols, not just words
• Designed for fun games from the smallest mobile phones up to the largest tablets
You can configure:
1) Grid size
Specify exactly how many columns and rows to use (from 3 to 20). Even non square grids (e.g. 12×15) are possible
2) Difficulty settings
Change the difficulty of the puzzles, from easy to very difficult
3) Minimum & Maximum word length
This helps avoid searching for many small words (a common problem in word apps). Also useful for specifying really difficult games (e.g. set both minimum and maximum word length to three).
4) Starting letters
The game can start with one or more letters already placed in the grid, in order to help you get started
5) Language
Choose the language of the word list, from a large range of downloadable dictionaries. 36 languages are currently available (see below)
6) Orientation
Can be played in portrait or landscape mode. Just rotate your device and the display adjusts automatically
7) Word Category
Choose the words to find from a range of categories; e.g. animals, food etc
This app gives you the ultimate power to play the game just the way you want
Each game is assigned a difficulty level from 0 (easy) to 9 (very hard). The difficulty level is determined by the settings or the difficulty selector. Each difficulty level maintains the high scores (measured by fastest time to complete the game). The game displays the best 20 scores for each difficulty level.
Other features unique to this app:
1) View the definition of the word from an online dictionary (internet connection required)
2) When you play with a word list in a foreign language, the word definition will (where possible) be in your own language. This is great for language learning!

Glad this game exists! Love the challenge.
The timer should start when you click on your first word at the beginning of the game not as soon as you click on new game . Cant make it change to animals just words. We also noticed you dont respond to your customers concerns and no changes that the customers state they are having a problem and asking for your help.
Love his game. But Ive been trying to change from words to pictures of animals and while the system says it would be using the pics it just uses the words. Why.
Challenging, but not frustrating.
Game is good. Need more words to find. Same words for same crossword puzzle needs to be different.
Was a great game until recently. Yes, you still had ads to contend with, but nothing bad until recently. Now the adds are LOUD and do not respond to mute. So when an an ad pops up everyone around the room hears even though it is on mute. DELETED.
Such a fun challenge to pass the time away. Enjoyable and challenging.

Fill it in puzzles were our favorite books to play. They are literally impossible to find. However they had no hints and then the numbers were organized. Words tha has 8 letters would have an 8 then list of words. Also our absolute favorite was number fill it in and license plates. This game doesnt even come close to challenging us. On the challenges that we enjoy. Not for us. UNINSTALLED.

Awesome game. We have the ability now to tap on the word we chose instead of writing it in in our fill in puzzle books.
Loved this app for a while. Then it just disappeared! We found the app again so chose it & was given the only option to update which we did. When we opened it it was a blank black screen. Please help if possible.
This is a great way to pass time. You can make it easy for your kids or hard for adults.

We just wish they would adjust it so that the word bank was a little easier to see. The works on the left end of the word bank are hard to see because theyre so close to the edge.
We are ONE of the most PICKIEST people ever. THIS GAME IS GREAT, its not hard but yet not easy. It takes thought and counting, HOWEVER the BEST PART IS, ITS FUN & we love it. Try it and YOUll be HOOKED. You can change the grid size and level of difficulty which will keep you playing. Whom ever created this game is INGENIOUS!!!!!!! Love it, play it and get hooked. The best part is Im a mom of a five year old…. TO ESCAPE A GAME TAKES ONLY ABOUT 3 to 5 MINUTES. Just enough time to decompress and get back to reality.

This app opened a safari page that told us we had a virus detected. Deleting the app today. If we could give a ZERO we would. This is not acceptable in the Apple App Store.

HAPPY 64. We do a few each day…at our age it is real,important to do these on a daily bases…so it deserves the 4 stars.
This is only a warning to others: download with caution. Here's our experience: After playing the game for about five mins, back of the phone was hotter than a cup of coffee but only noticeable if out of the case. For a simple functioning app, too much power was being used. Experimented with other gaming apps by playing ten mins (set timer), remove case & feeling Apple icon. No other app produces heat within that short time frame. This app doesn't have features that would justify power depletion. Plus, our phone shut itself off twice while in play. Then, there was a faint buzzing noise from bottom speaker. Malware during or with this app download has been suspected. This app was the only new app "purchased" last three months. It was IMMEDIATELY deleted & removed. It was a fun app & showed new way to look at puzzle games for the few days that we had it BUT we will not risk our passive digital footprint and smartphone security over a game. Buyer's choice!! Cheers.
