Love this game! Very addictive!
One of our favorite games. Just upgraded from a really early version, and cant find an explanation of the different colors of found words (yellow, orange, red), or of any of the scoring for that matter. Hopefully Ill figure it out as we go, but its great fun anyway.
November 2020 Edit: The once fantastic app has seemingly been abandoned by the developer. It was once amazing, but for most of 2020 (as if we didnt already have enough problems) the game has been plagued with enough issues to make playing less and less enjoyable. Currently, its stuck on the same game board. Such a shame. Original review: we’ve been playing this game for years, and while not perfect, it is as good a solo implementation of good ol Boggle as we’ve tried (Ive tried many). Pros: The games dont drag on. The game boards are not random, so there are longer words to find. While you can see how others did on the same board (scoreboard), this is more of a bonus rather than a strict competition. There are four different ways to score; some of these require being unlocked (just keep playing and youll get there). Great to be able to play anywhere from one round to an hour of play – start and stop whenever you like. Cons: While the dictionary is good, it is not complete. We find myself frustrated at times entering in a word that isnt recognized (nard comes to mind). Finally, we cant prove it, but receiving a Connection Lost error happens a LOT whenever we reach the top all-time 10 leaderboard. Its become a joke. Just now we got such an error, and yup, we had just hit #10. If this is not intentional, its a bug.
We enjoy it. Helps us practice our Bulgarian. Even our kids like to play it.
Love the game – even with its quirks. Its been offline for a week. Hoping to to see it connecting again soon. Are you coming back?
The game is working but the previous high scorers are not cleared out between sets. It used to show the results from each game and who did the best but now it shows one score with the last games word and it doesnt change. Please fix.
Like the game. Just too much crap going on. Like the format of the first.
Fun and challenging. We wish we knew what the different colored scores meant. (Some are orange. Some are red.) Or a how-to screen to explain some of the different rules. Our 6 year old son loves this game. He loves words and learning new ones. Very fun.
The game is fun to play and we slayed out well, however the scoring is erroneous much of the time. For example the game might tell us we received a score of 110 out of 192. In the final ranking display it show 19 and ranks us accordingly. Sometimes it shows that others got 250% of the words and the ranking board shows a word that was not in the round. Disappointing, so please fix!!
Not as fun since they started doing weird things a few months ago. Switching lists and placing players incorrectly in the results list… What is going on????
Keep getting a network error. How can we fix it?
We keep getting a network error and cannot connect to the game. This is been working fine for us and now all of a sudden it is not. Hopefully its something they can fix.
This game has been a favorite of ours for years. But lately its been going completely haywire. Scoreboards contain bad data, the displayed number of players varies wildly, from fewer than 10 to more than 2000, and the same game reappears sometimes within just a few minutes. Please get this stuff fixed!!
It’s a decent game. Be sure and pick your player ID cautiously, ppl get offended easily of course. One thing that we don’t particularly like abt this game is that apparently if you delete the app, even if your game data is saved in the cloud, you still have to spend money again if you decide to reinstall the game on your device. SO REMEMBER if for any reason there’s a glitch in your app and they instruct you to uninstall and then reinstall, you WILL have to pay again if you want the paid version, and honestly it is totally annoying waiting for the friggin ads in the free version. Smh. We guess we have mixed feelings about paying multiple times for the very same game but we go through phases where certain games sound great until we’re in the mood for smthn else. We don’t have any extra memory on our device so we have to pick and chose and then do it all over again. So ya after you pay 4 or more times for the game, it’s frustrating for sure.
We’ve been playing this game for years and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the last month, however, we have been unable to play because network error message is displayed every time we try to open the game. We have uninstalled and reinstalled and emailed Fugo techs, with no response. Too bad it was fun while it lasted.

Same puzzles over and over. Online mode makes the app crash often. Disappointing.
Apples most recent software update is not compatible with the Wordz 2 app. Therefore, the games in unplayable for now until Fugo takes action. Since several weeks have gone by we would recommend not holding your breath.
Recently, scores are getting stuck after each round. The scores showing are from several rounds ago.
Stupid ads. You cannot see your results because of stupid long ads. Waste of time.
The game is totally screwed up. One round has 700 people playing, the next round has 5 people playing. Results show words from 5 games back. Amazing how it never gets updated or fixed. Worthless.
"No connection" again. What’s going on? Does anyone know?

There isnt any instructions on what the xp is for and gems…. Plus why do new players get less time to play and how do we find this info??
So far we are enjoying it. We like leveling up & seeing how we do against other players.
One of the best social word games on the App Store. With it’s level of progression, competitiveness, and simple and quick game play, it’s become our go to word game when we’re looking for a challenge for a few minutes.
Much better than the first version. Tuned just right, animations are cool, and the timer is just right to move things along. Totally addictive. Great concept, well executed!
We like it very much. Very good practice of memorizing and learning new words especially if you are ESL student.
The devs put a lot of thought into every aspect of this games design. Each game board contains a small number of very long words. Certain long words will reappear maybe once every 20 games or so… Its rewarding to stick around so you can recognize them the second time around. The set of long words is refreshed every hour and there is a great balance between fresh long words and repeating long words. We love how names of countries count as words. Lots of thought put into stats, rankings, graphics as well. ~ Skittlache.
Says our account is logged in at multiple locations but as far as we know we’ve only ever loaded the program in our iPhone. Don’t know how to fix!!
Wordz2 very nice design, enjoyable and playing a lot. Playing in Afrikaans, but developers need to install/update Afrikaans word list as there are a lot of times valid Afrikaans words are not except by the game. Otherwise very good game!
Needs some sort of a key for all the icons and colors in the game & scoreboard..

The game is well designed and challenging yet fun to play. The one shortcoming is it often seems to become corrupted and must be reloaded to play.
Fun game, but why does it keep crashing? Fix or delete.
We’ve never heard of an app asking you to pay in order to change your nickname from guest265/78534 to something else. Are the devs that hard up for money? Pretty much takes the fun out of a game from the very start when you see that if they’re charging you for that, what else are they charging for.

It’s the best app before the sleep!!!
We loved the original game, but it was so buggy that it was downright frustrating to play! This game takes off where the other one began, but does so with no bugs, so far! We cannot explain how much better this is, for that reason, alone if you liked the original, you will like this one, too. Game play is almost the same. We still have not figured out how to get to the other variants of the game as only CLASSIC seems to be available. There appear to be other people playing the other versions, however, which might mean they need to be unlocked. It appears that Fugo gave up on the origins land just decided to make it better. For that, we applaud hem! James.
