If you are a wine lover and looking for a fun way to test your knowledge – this app is for you!

Simply tap the screen where you think each wine should be placed, zoom in and release to confirm when you are happy with your selection.

You will be presented with a number of levels increasing in complexity to test your knowledge of wine and where it is produced around the world.

There is a time limit per level, with ten wines to try and place correctly.

The levels you will be faced with ask you to decide which country, region or sub-region the wine comes from.

The app features additional information on all the regions and grape varieties you have been faced with placing in the game, so as well as testing your knowledge, you can extend it! This is a really fun and very effective way to memorize exact locations of wine regions. A few tweaks would be helpful. For example it would be nice if the name of the region was in a dark color instead of a light color because it sometimes takes us a few seconds to be able to read the name. Another tweak would be for the map to reset to the world view after each wine. That way we wouldnt have to tap out before we could tap in again. Finally it would be nice at the end of the round to be able to see what the right regions were for the ones we got wrong. Although admittedly, after playing the game enough, we eventually figured it out on our own. Overall, we are extremely happy with this app.

We’re very good at knowing about wine, but we have found that navigating around the maps is rather unintuitive. It’s very frustrating when you know the region where the wine label belongs, but you can’t get to it because the maps are too hard to pinpoint. Otherwise, everything is is well done, it requires some knowledge, and it will really test you. If they can just find a better way to make the maps more intuitive, it can be a five-star app.

Great app for learning the basic regions. Fast-paced and will definitely help with memorization. Would be helpful if a map with the region/subregion is located in the review notes. Also, it would be nice to include the information of the last option when the timer runs out along with the in/correct ones. Would love to see this app add on the next level to include notes about the wines.

A good app to strengthen geography recognition, though the format doesnt help for too much more than that. Unfortunately the 60 time frame is a bit short with the map navigation. Would happily pay a few dollars or subscription to have this a more fleshed out program. Overall fun and useful in a flash card way.

This game has been a fabulous tool to reinforce/remind us of things we learned years ago. It has allowed us to recall information we wasnt sure was still lodged in our brain! Im excited to brush up & continue our wine education now.

The games are a lot of fun and a great way to lean more about wine regions It is difficult to move in and out on the map as you need to do big region changes.

We love the game as a whole. Huge suggestions: It needs to have the option of not being timed, and it needs to stop repeatedly asking us the questions we’ve long mastered. The world map should get to the region faster and more efficiently when Im narrowing down our answer.

The map UI isnt intuitive and the whole app is slow and laggy in general. We think this is a case where an older app just hasnt aged well, an update would be great!

We love the idea of this, and we think we could learn a lot from it, but theres just not enough time to think and tap in and out of maps. With a little longer times available this could be such a useful tool. As it is, its just really annoying and a waste of time.

Awesome app for the professional or the person just looking to learn in a fun way.

Great revision tool. Hoping there are more apps to come!

This is a great game for practicing maps and regions.

Game is great but could use a lot of new content. Newer regions and maybe a practice section where you can browse countries and regions without being on a time crunch.

So much fun- we only wish for more! A fabulously fun, fast-paced game, and a great learning tool. Our only reason not to give 5 stars is we were sad to find it was over after 6 levels!! We hope it will be updated often and offer more challenges for advanced students! Thank you, WSET!

Unfortunately the when matching the labels to maps it difficult to move and increase map size for greater detail. Also, the labels are very difficult to read.

How about a pinch to zoom instead of the clumsy map zoom function? And an iPad version would make this much easier to use instead of squinting at it. Can’t wait for an updated version.

We thought we could win based on wine knowledge. Not the case.
