Find out what gamers are saying about XON Episode Two:

This game recaptures the feeling of Myst better than any other iOS game we’ve found. The environments are beautiful and the puzzles require some thought without being frustrating. A story begins to emerge in this episode. Don’t let the shortness of the first episode scare you; this one is easily worth $2. All future episodes are an instant buy for us. Keep up the good work!

Great game/games, keep up the AWESOME work!

This episode delivers on the promise of the first episode with a much meatier and deeper experience with clever but not frustrating puzzles in an intriguing and beautifully rendered world. Still not the longest game but the 90 minutes or so are well worth a couple bucks. On to ep 3!

After trying Ep 1 for free, we were worried that Ep 2 would also be short, but it’s already much longer and we’re not yet finished. The thumb stick navigation is awesome! Works flawlessly on our iPad Air 2 using both thumbs at the same time. Compares more to The Room puzzles than Myst, but with less detail and more spacious environment to explore.

Episode 2 is even better than 1. Great challenge! Love it. Will get #3.

We strongly recommend this game to both Myst and The Room lovers. The puzzles are great, and so is the ambiance. While not a perfect match for the Myst series, it comes closer than anything else out there in the market, and in our opinion, its very close. We played both episodes one and two, and we see episode three is available, which we are now going to purchase. Much thanks to the developers.

If you like adventure-puzzlers, check these out. The puzzles are hard but not impossible, and the environments are calming and beautiful. It is great to have a game like this where you can move around in real time, as opposed to pointing and waiting for the next scene to be populated. Keep up the good work!

Though not as enthralling or engaging as Myst, Episode 2 was gorgeous in its own right, and more than compelling enough to hold our interest.

While we were hesitant to buy this due to the length of episode 1 the reviews seemed good. We were right to buy it. The puzzles are good and the graphics are amazing, although the aesthetic seems to be a bit more organic than episode 1. We figured out the part where you needed to turn over the rocks pretty fast; but it might prove hard for some other people. The only other complaint we have is that the game lost momentum at the part with the pipes, which seemed tedious and unnesscary. Why did you even need to touch the blue rings so they turned white. Other than that the game was great. Not too hard, not super casual easy either. We liked how the utilitarian design of the buildings did not distract you from what you had to do, we found myself plenty distracted in Myst. Good job, hop episode 3 is even better.

Tried on both our iPad Air and our iPad Pro (12.7 inch). Doesn’t show the edges or arrow controls. So doesn’t work. $1.99 wasted. Updated. If you don’t start in landscape mode it crops the scene. Start the app fully in landscape then that seems to avoid the problem.

We’re so glad we stumbled upon this game. We first tried Episode 1, and to be honest, thought it was lame. But something about it still peaked our interest, so we took a chance on buying this one. Well, it turns out, the free Episode 1 was basically a tutorial. They probably should say that, because there was virtually no challenge, unlike this one. It was highly enjoyable, and we think for once the comparison to Myst and Riven could apply here. The only real problem, as a few others have mentioned, is it not fitting the screen. The edges were indeed cut off on our IPad, but it turned out we could play it just fine, just use the thumbsticks instead of the arrows. Also, the ending was abrupt, but we wouldn’t say the game lacked enough content. It’s just surprising when it decides to end.

While not quite a true successor to the legacy of the Myst series, Xon is a solid take on the exploration-puzzle genre. While the puzzles and visuals are impressive from a technical standpoint, they lack the context and charm that led to the success of games like Myst and Riven. Things seem to exist "just because," which is in stark contrast to Riven’s (and Myst’s, to a lesser extent) very detailed and deliberate world. That said, the game was an improvement over the first part, and was enjoyable right up to its (albeit abrupt) ending. We’re looking forward to the next installment.

Having an exceedingly difficult time downloading this. It just keeps "waiting." After motionless attempts, we tried to delete the "waiting" icon but failed even at that. Should we wait more than half an hour? We can’t email support from this device so we’re kind of just hanging.

After ten minutes of futility trying to navigate around the area, we gave up. It might be a good game, but we didn’t have the patience to stick with such difficult mobility. The graphics looked good.

Only about 1/2 of the playing screen is visible on our iPad Air 2.

Since this is a paid episode, game play is longer than episode 1. Just finished episode 2 and onto episode 3 now. Very addictive game. We love this type of 360 virtual escape game.

Episode two provides more game play in this strange world. Very enjoyable. Episode three is even better.

We’ve played episode 1 for several years and never considered buying the next installment until now. This game is really fun! Lets start with the clever ground switches hidden in the dark corners throughout the first half of this epic adventure. Then you will need to find all four crystals to divert power to the main door. The switch in the cave also provides power to a bridge in the 2nd part, so you need to set it after unlocking the first door. We couldnt believe how much fun this game actually is. The waterfall was such a delightful surprise and the monorail was such a visual treat! If you are stuck trying to unlock the monorail, you only need to activate 3 light boxes marked with the colors blue, green & red. The other two (purple & yellow) are decoys! At the very beginning of the pipe maze, there are a series of hidden passages. One of those passages leads back to the waterfall and if you go through the big door, the monorail car is waiting for you! The level design is seriously impressive. If we could shake the hand of the developer, we would simply say; "Thank you". If you are on the fence about this; we certainly understand. IMPORTANT FEATURES: – Breathtaking graphics. – Secret areas. – No time limit. – No in-app purchases. – No game-ending traps. We purposely rode the monorail in the wrong direction to see what was around the maze. If you like short games that dont take hours to complete, then this is for you. If you love secret areas, this game has it. We can complete this game in a matter of minutes. Did we mention the graphics? This game is legit!! Just buy it! Recommended: Yes Absolutely perfect.

Now THIS Chapter is just amazing. Once we figured out we just needed to follow the plumbing, we were off and running solving puzzles. All 4 chapters of XON are spectacular in their own way, and these guys are absolute masters at creating beautiful mega-puzzles that are laid out across vast landscapes. Its such a rush to solve these incredible puzzles.

We started out with the initial free game, and then saw several reviewers note that these paid versions are longer, so we decided to give it a try, as we really enjoyed the freebie immensely. Now we are already on Chapter 3 and enjoying every moment of this journey so far! We consider myself to be a graphics snob, so we appreciate the beautiful graphics and attention to detail in these games very much. We also love that we are forced to explore every since nook and cranny of this strange world, looking for artifacts needed for game play. We also appreciate the complexity level of the puzzles. Its not TOO hard, but hard enough that we did have to seek out some clues on a few occasions, and each game (so far) has given us more than a day of game play. We will be recommending this game to everyone for sure, and we dont recommend many games! This rises to the level of The Taos Principal, The Room series, and House of DaVinci. Bravo! Well done, and please make more!

This series along with the room series and the eyes of ara are our absolute favorites. The graphics were fantastic along with the controls. The puzzles were great, enough of a challenge but not so daunting that we wouldve wanted to quit. The game is a great length. You definitely get your moneys worth!

Played this with our 7 year old. Wasnt sure if she would be interested, but she loved wandering around and discovering the secrets. At one point, she took the controls and was finding things and coming up with ideas on her own. Good puzzles that were fun to work on together as a team. Its just enough of a challenge that it takes a bit to think on it and there is enough content to feel like the price was worth the journey. Took us a day on and off to complete. It does remind us of Myst as described, which was one of our favorite games growing up. Quiet game; cant die. Super relaxing if you enjoy the type of games that dont rush you and make you think. Kid was begging us to hurry up and buy episode 3 when this was over so we can keep playing. Will definitely do so, but need a break for tonight.

Puzzles are a little arbitrary or we wpould give 5 stars.

Too many glitches for a paid game.
