Outstanding glider simulator. Very realistic, with all the sounds (wind noise, variometer, gear extension, etc.) and visuals (instrument panel, windscreen reflections, and the landscape- gorgeous!). Having flown gliders in the past, this brought back a lot of great memories, and thanks for curing our winter blues!
How cool to play a sailplane simulator on our mini! The only thing is that we wish you could loop and barrel roll. We couldn’t get it to do it.
We love it, love it, love it. We guess is as good as you can do for an iPad. We just wish there were a few more locations and gliders.

We used to fly real gliders about 10 yrs ago. This is the closest to the real feeling! Amazing!
Nice graphics, easy controls, nice people online Only thing we wish could change, is slope/ridge flying by mountains, maybe more maps and planes! Great overall sim!
This is a great app and unique amongst other flight sim apps. It’s a beautiful and relaxing experience. We really like that multiplayer is supported. We hope that it attracts greater support from the sim community so that it may develop and grow! Get this one.
This is truly a very impressive flight sim. We must say it comes in a close second to a computer glider sim called Condor, which is a memory hungry and expensive simulator. The only things that are missing to make this a masterpiece are more camera views while flying, and a way to keep the thermal hotspots on for a longer time. As always more gliders and locations would be a plus but there are plenty to sail for days. We hope we see more updates.
Great app that really does a good job but the music is very annoying. Couldn’t the same effect be accomplished without the music? We just mute ours.
No TE vario, no final glide computer, no change of weather, almost nobody online to race, no possibility to build your own task, no possibility to evaluate your race. Fun for 10 minutes and thats it.
New Glider and Area, plus yaw string, excellent control. Very fun and worthwhile sim for virtual or real glider pilots. One can center in a thermal using real world techniques, practice flight discipline and get a sense of what it is like to not just fly a sailplane, but to also compete in cross country competitions. Once it gets aero tow and it will be better than the PC soaring sims that are currently available.
This is a fantastic app if you have the flying bug. We have been up in full scale gliders and our hobby is RC gliders. Very realistic. Great graphics. Only suggestion we have – indicate success of landings by having the glider break apart if the landing is not good. Does not matter how you land, your glider always stays together. Looking forward to more improvements. Keep up the GREAT work!
This is a fantastic little gem of a flight sim. The feeling of flight is spot on, and we’re logging more hours into this than we have X-Plane and Infinite Flight combined. There is nothing better than circling in thermals, staying aloft for hours and then slide-slipping it in for a landing. Our only gripe would be the lack of a "Settings" menu — I’d like to be able to reverse the controls for panning (I hats dragging to the right to look left, and vice versa). If you love soaring or are a real glider pilot, get this. You won’t be disappointed. Buy this!
It is so much fun to fly with friends. We are surprised how accurate the flying is. The Internet connection to others adds a level of reality that makes this our favorite app of all time. We can’t wait for more.
Try the free first, when you get better at the simulator, then buy the full app. It has new gliders and areas to fly. This is a very well done app. Nice job. Thank you.
If you dream of soaring, this is for you. The controls are just fine and responsive.(I’m on iPhone 5) So satisfying to catch a thermal and climb. Enough freedom that even experienced gliders will enjoy, yet simple enough that people with no gliding experience could pick it up.
Pretty outstanding. We havent flown gliders in a few years. This game/simulator takes us right back. One of the most realistic flight simulators we have ever flown.
It would be awesome if there was a tow plane option that takes you as high as you want, still keep the launcher just make it an option. As a proud member of cap. A civil air patrol glider would make it better. The sim is amazing already though. Keep up the great work.
Would like to have settings to change wind direction and other things like in X-plane. A tow plane would be great as well. Otherwise very good. It would also be good to have more planes. Right now only two and only two sites. Need more.
This apps one of the best flight sim apps around and we play it a lot more than x-plane. It would be great to have a tow plane and some RAF gliders, Maybe even some old ones like the General aircraft GAL.49 Hamilcar, Airspeed Horsa or even the Waco CG-4. But over all a great app!!!

We cannot say enough good things about this app. This is about pure flight, not dogfighting or speed. This sim rewards skill and patience, and some knowledge of real glider mechanics is helpful. This said, we still think a novice could pick it up and learn it easily. Highly, highly recommended.
Wasted money, if you ask us. We donor Knowles how many times we have to try to press the buttons before the simulator responds. Ridiculous.
Very realistic. We have 400 hrs. In real sailplanes and find this a very accurate sim. We do love being able to see thermals but we wish it was a bit more subtle, perhaps by being marked by cumulus clouds instead of red cylinders.
While it is a flight sim for iOS it needs much to be desired. Flight characteristics are pretty spot on but with today’s other flight sim options that doesn’t cut it. Major complaint is poor graphics and poor rendering. There’s nothing like being about a mile from the airport and it is completely gone from view due to limited draw distance. If you want the best flight sim/ glider sim according to us and only us we would go purchase AeroFly FS.
