Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

We enjoy the single as much as playing random opponents.

Looked great. Downloaded and gets stuck in tutorial and can't play.

Love this version of Yatzy, it's simple, fun, and consistent in scoring and presentation. It's also a plus that we can play solo or play against a live component.

The tutorial softlocks the app.

We've had this app forever. It used to just be a dice rolling app, which we used from time to time. The developer saw fit to upgrade it into a full game, taking the very reason we used to app away. Removing it.

Love this game. We play it way too much.

We first downloaded the app a long time ago because it was just a dice throw app. You press a button for one to five dice and roll to your hearts content. But over time it got updated a couple times. The first couple simply added new features or polished the look of the app, but not too long ago that completely changed into a full game. For many people this is fine, for us not so much because this changed it to require you to go through a tutorial that softlocked our phone multiple times after the first roll. Along with that the app now requires a data connection which is understandable for a game, but not for an app that was originally downloaded to be a quick way to have some dice on hand without having to carry a sleeve of dice everywhere. After the tutorial the game works fine, but this is not what we downloaded.

This was a 5-star dice app, where u can just get electronic dice, but then they updated it to this dumb yahtzee game which defeats the purpose. Please bring back the original.

Great game format. Would give 5 stars if option there to name players.

This is only after the most recent update.

Its a f7n mindless game to play.

Just like the board game. Great.

Wish game was limited to one Yatzy.

We miss the solo game option and dont want to pay to play for a tournament. We have thousands of chips but dont know what to do with them. Would love to trade them for dice. We play this while watching tv or doing chores because its the only way to tolerate the ads. For those who have problems with the glitches, simply close the app and reopen. Annoying, yes, but effective.

We find it interesting that one person continually gets 800 plus in both the one hour and 24 hour tournaments. We like the game but allowing cheating has to stop.

So were forced to play against other players? Really? Deleted.

Great game. Wonderful people to play against. Highly recommend.

Great game against random people.

Nice to play without a time limit. Great for training purposes. Graphics are awesome, but wish the numbers were bigger, easier to see and easier to click on.

Love playing this! Fun with others or solo during tournaments.

After each ad once the video plays it wont let you exit out of it.

Fun game to play. We would like to have the option to play the game with out another player.

Fun to play … Especially with others. We have not figured out the bonus role rules yet.

Very straightforward Good random plays. Thats what Im after in a dice game. Pretty lifelike. Fun to play.

What happened to the chat box? No good without it.

The tournaments are more fun in our opinion.

Great game format. Would give 5 stars if option there to name players.

…except you dont get to see your opponent playing, you dont get to sharpen your addition skills, and you can buy a bonus roll for 15 points.

We are a old Yatzy player, this app is very easy To use.

Wish you could see the other person playing.

Love this game. Its so much fun.

Fun, but slow on loading. Do wish there was a speed game option (both players commit to back and forth play for an hour, if someone stops play its a forfeiture).

Not an annoyingly flashy app. With stupid flashing buzzy lights. Love this app.

Great fun game that makes it easy to connect to others to play.

Its the classic game and then some.

We like this version of online Yatzy. We especially like the ability to play with another person.

This game is simple and cool. Ads arent too bad either :).

This is a fun game, but somewhat addictive! Doesnt always appear to be based on chance, but maybe predetermined outcome by the computer.

If it had a time out for inactive opponents we would consider keeping this app. We shouldnt have to wait over an hour for a game to finish because the other person walked away from their phone. We also dont like that there is no solo play option. And the ads are a bit too much for us. If we wasnt waiting on other players for so long Id even consider purchasing it to get rid of the ads, but as it stands we might just delete the app all together.

This is a fun game however we were a level 100 with 1354 free spins and the game started all over. And wiped away all our frees spins.

Please take politics out of this game or we'll just find another game to play.

We're sad you got rid of single player. We used to play single player every day as well as games with friends. Can you bring back single without the gambling aspect? Thanks.

Any open invitations slow down the app. Players should be able to delete non-responsive players. Also, should allow more than 2 players to play.

Why did you get rid of single player.

Opened the app and dropped us back down to level 1. We were at level 42. Deleted app off our phone. Not sure if Ill add it back.

Please bring back single player option.

We dont want to play against others, why get rid of this option? We will get rid of this game now, although it used to be our favorite.

This game needs more work on it. The screen is fairly unresponsive. You have to tap on it numerous times for everything you do in this game! However no amount of game tweaking can mask the fact that a full 60 second add popped up in the middle of a game. There are other Yahtzee games that are more user friendly and more fun to play. Uninstalling now.

Latest update took away ability to play solo. We HATE that all games these days have to be with friends. We used to play this a lot. Just deleted it because its useless to us now.
