Game wont load. Dont waste your time.
This is a GREAT GAME and we TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT however there is ONE problem we figured out some of the koi are SEASONAL and UNAVAILABLE FOREVER! <- us rn we really really REALLY REALLY R E A L L Y want the unavailable koi to be ummm idk available during the season it was available in to be purchasable with pearls and yeah if it happens 5 stars Note: we looked on the wiki and yea it said they are not unavailable forever.
We love this game. The koi are adorable and the color and pattern variety is so cool! But a few issues bug us.. 1. Its repetitive Not a big surprise, you do the same thing over and over 2. It can take a while Ascending is taking a while and im not a very patient person. We get thats a us problem but its likely an all problem for some people aswell. Maybe decrease the ascending amount by afew? Thats really the only issues. Other then pearls. Thank you for reading! ^^
Great game, good patterns and good graphics, relaxing game but, One thing that it prevents this game from being a 5 is THE FREAKING PUFFERS!!! Specifically the red puffers, they are a freaking killjoy, they are so numerous and slow you down enough you can lose some mates for your koi (and we have lost many presumably rare pattern mates for our koi because of them) we have devoured may red puffers dispite not needing any for gems simply just to spite them, like they actually make us angry. If you removed them that would be great, regular puffers arent as bad. Great Game otherwise (Though seems like we need more koi space the slots we are given are not nearly as enough, even the pearl costs are not worth it) we hope you devotees read this, an automated response just wont cut it here in this case, Im sorry this is just how much of a problem red puffers are.
We enjoyed the original a lot, and this does have some improvements and interesting new features. The big sticking point for us is the decreased swimming speed from the original game. Even upgrading it didnt help, especially with the appearance of reskins of the fast blue fish. Those fish in the original game are a mild annoyance in the first few stages but can be caught without too much trouble. In this game, we made it up until the stage with their blue-gray reskin and, after spending several minutes and several speed upgrades failing to catch enough, deleted the game out of frustration. It also didnt help that the stickies disappeared before they showed up, so couldnt even slow them down. We know movement speed seems like a minor point, but it makes the game so much more frustrating. Its doubly sad for us because we really wanted to like it.
We thought this would be a pay to win game but it turns out everything is just harder to obtain than if you pay but that makes things more fun! We look forward to the next game!
This game is the best it like literally relaxes us but developers pls read this. Like we could use something to be added in the game which is that th dragons can be in the pond. Yes because you can play as the dragon and the fish for freee but in the game you can only play as the dragon on the star thing. So pls let the dragon be able to be on the pond that would be so nice. THANK YOU DEVELOPERS.
Had a small issue with a purchase. They responded super fast fixed our personal problem. Then they even updated the app version. Super awesome customer support. As far as the game it is very relaxing. We just love the music and growing our koi. Thanks again! Erin.
This game is so much fun for us to play its super relaxing as well. We’ve always wanted to find a game like this and we did. All Im trying to say is you should get this app its great so far there are no glitches and there arent to many missions but there are some and theres different types of colors you can get its so much fun!

Same as last time but a bit better the only problem is that the hit boxs for the food is small.
No pressure, relaxing, fun. We pay it while listening to podcasts. Needs more egg and koi slots! There arent enough.
Very fun and love the graphics but we will say, it gets pretty repetitive after a while. We played for a few days but it just started to feel the same over and over. It was exciting when you got a new fish but the work to get it is always just the same over and over so it got a bit boring but for the time before it got boring it was really fun.
So calming and destressing! We love this game, there should be more like it!
(usually we never write reviews, but anyways) we remember playing this on just one of the most soothing days ever, and it feels like we always come back to this game any time that we dont have it downloaded. We know we had it on our old ipad, and we’ve switched to a new one now, but we just had to download it for the nice time again. :D.

We love the way this game makes a little koi pond seem so interesting! We found this game by chance one day and fell in love with it! Thanks for this awesome game! Also, we remember reading somewhere (I think in Where The Mountain Meets The Moon.) that in myths koi become dragons. We love that this game incorporated that.
This game is great for on the road play because it is very entertaining and it keeps you busy, we also have problems with certain games killing our phone battery this game is the total opposite so fun we definitely recommend.

We love playing this game, but suddenly we wasnt able to breed this St that we had even though there were egg slots left. We bought a love boost but we couldnt apply it. Please help! Update: another koi spawned, but it took awhile.

We love catching prey, seeing what our offspring turns out to be, breeding our koi, and, of course, seeing the magical ascension of our beautiful koi fish turning into a gorgeous domestic dragon! We love this game, but theres one thing. Sometimes we cant find the symbol for the next step to ascend our koi. We think it just camouflages in the light blue but other than that its a really good game. Please try to fix it!
So Im having fun on the game but the thing is you cant give pearls nor koi if your friend who doesnt have the pattern. Other than that its a pretty great game that we like to hang out with our family to play with! Thanks landshark, your the best.

The game is great but one problem. There is a koi pond but shouldnt it have a dragon place and we would also love to be able to play as a dragon.
Hello! This game is honestly very very good. Why? Because when u join the game u get a mom and dad. And they make u so after that, you eat some insects, then u make some gems and u unlock something that we forgot. Then u become a dragon. But before u become a dragon we can also find a mate so u can make a little koi fish (if u know what we mean). Then after u become a dragon u work on that koi and so on. But u can also have your goal in the game. Like our goal is to make all our koi into a dragon. AND GUESS WHAT!!!! NO ADS! But u can only get ads if u want free pearls. Anyways thats all! But two things Im bugged about is that when u watch a 30 second ad u get 1 pearl. And every time u unlock a new koi fish slot the price of pearls gets bigger like we unlocked 1 for 10 pearls and the other for 25 and then it became 40 pearls! Pls make free pearl ad 5 pearls instead of 1! But otherwise its a great game!!!
It is good but it is pretty hard to get perls and why is it you have it spend 200 Perls to get a new koi slot gist saying can there please be a better way to get perls like a minigame where you have to eat a serti number of one pray and depending on how well you did you would get like 1-3 perls and you can only do it every 3 hour to ceep it so no bute gets like a billion perls gist a sgeshin.
We’ve been a huge fan of this game for years and had a ton of limited edition koi patterns in our pond that we bought. We’ve even kept up with their Facebook page and been on the discord site for this game. We’ve spent hundreds of dollars on decorations and koi pond expansion packs and we lost everything we had. We upgraded iPhones and even though we followed the syncing process nothing saved. Our account is still there with all of the money we spent we just cant play it and customer support wont let us into it. Let us rephrase this customer support is terrible. We have been dealing with customer support for over a week straight. The emailed customer support team eventually gave up and said that we needed to contact direct in game support so we did. We gave them screenshots of our receipt/purchases straight from our Apple ID account into a google drive for them to view as they requested and then they said it wasnt detailed enough information. Im sure if we asked for a refund of all of our hard earned money then they would actually care and get us back into our account. We basically have to start the game all over and there is no restore purchases button on this app like other games which is a little shady to begin with. Im very upset and just want to warn everyone that even if you sync your phone to your Facebook page and apple account there is no guarantee that your progress will be saved and the money youve spent sure as heck wont be saved either.
Incredibly frustrating when you have to try to catch some of those pufferfish and they keep blowing up in your face even when you get close to them from behind. This game is also very boring and repetitive, would not recommend if you want to relax because in the end youll probably be more stressed out.

15 minutes of game play, and this game turned monotonous, repetitive, and boring. As usual, the ultra high review score is bot generated. Allow us to remedy that with a 1-star rating and an app deletion.
We’ve played this game for a long time but we stopped for a little bit after we got a new ipad, we just went back to the game and all of our data was deleted except our Game Centers achievements but we cant get our game back. Please help.
We got this game yesterday and have been addicted since! There are no adds as we can see ( unless you chose to watch an add for pearls) The pearls are not insanely rare and not to hard to get!
- Us and our friend would play all the time when we were smaller it was so fun and It does not really hold up it still kinda does but that is because the game is so repetitive you make the stones from prey, then expand the pond 3 or 4 more times (I think 3), and after you ascend your koi into a dragon and you do that over and over and over, like that is pretty much all you do 2. We ask a favor please make something else to do, also add some more stuff for the dragons man that would help we would give this 4 star but because we played it when we were little it has a soft spot in our heart so we gave it a five star 3. If you make the a game a little less repetitive and do something with the dragons we might play the game again (not tryna be a Karen). :)
We LOVE this game! We think it is amazing! We totally recommend it! There is just one problem, we can never find the symbol to give the gems to! We were thinking that there should be arrows to lead you to the symbols.
Overlay screen that has ? Button & various other tappable Buttonswhen you tap the buttons it causes the koi you are playing to go in direction of the Tap on Button. Did not do this before recent/last version bug fix. Thought you should be notified.
We had this game for soooooo long until we had to downgrade for a while and then finally upgraded to a better phone. We had so many beautiful fishes that we worked hard to get but, not we cant access anything because it stays stuck on Populating Pond. It literally stays on the loading screen. We’ve been trying to load it up. We’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting our phone, and we even backed up our phone and reset our whole phone and downloaded everything again and still nothing. We even waited for MONTHS for an update or two to go by before we tried again but, still to no avail. Id really like for the Zen Koi 2 team to fix this issue. We currently have an iPhone SE 2nd Generation. Id love to be able to play again. We even joined a Zen Koi 2 Facebook group and everything adds eachother and trades and help eachother. We feel so bad that we havent been able to help someone or to be helped. Please, please, PRETTY PLEASE !!! FIX THIS !!!
Its the most fun game u have its so fun you can breed fish and turn them into dragons its super fun so we think you should try it out.
