Honestly this game is AMAZING, there are many and cool fish, and the process of the fish becoming a dragon (or something?) is kinda long but very satisfying! Id suggest you play this, Yknow give it a try, see what you think cuz we LOVE THIS GAME, we even have a book of the games that we would suggest to our friends (which is REALLY rare) and this is number two and number one is Zen Koi classic, because they are both good, we really like this game, and the developer would give you fish (idk) and we did get one so THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!! Anyway we had six cups of coffee so like YEAH, anyway this game is fun, and it does help you relax, idk if it needs wifi or not (SORRY) and we hope Yall read this, and do end up trying the game, (:D) and us and our friends play this game, and we both like it! Personally Zen Koi is one of our favorite games and Ive played it for sooo long But we beg of you guys to make an offline mode for this game we are aware of the Existence of Zen Koi Pro but from reviews we saw that it was not the same as Zen Koi 2. So please add Offline mode on Zen Koi 2 in which we DO NOT NEED TO PAY! Because so many games have offline mode and you dont pay for such simple feature.
But we remember this one time where we needed to get the upgrade in the middle of the pond when we were still young in real lifeI crieddont ask.
We love this game! Very relaxing. One thing we wish was different is the naming feature. We enjoy being able to name the koi but we wish they could keep the names when they become dragons. Its a small, silly thing but.
This game is really fun but here are the problems. Its hard to find a king koi to breed with. At the start its hard to find a rare or higher. Id love for the creator to add more prey for the king kois.
We lost all our progress, even though we were signed in with Game Center.
This is our fav game possible that still works on ios12! Keep it that way pls! However, *is tempted to remove one star** we would like the constellation w your dragon to be fixed, as in when you connect the last star, its not finished! We love the game. We would max out our ads for pearls each day. There was a variety of commercial lengths. Now its only 30 second ads on our iPhone and minute ads on our wifi only iPad. We find this frustrating.
Ive been playing this game on and off since we were little, we love the concept and art. Its really a nice game and it helps us relax ^^.

This is more of suggestion than a review, a widget for the game that you can put onto your phone that allows you to watch your fish swim around like a real Koi Pond.
We love this game sooo much we definitely recommend.
Its amazing, but one, can you do special events were you bring back the koi that some people missed please? Because we missed some events, and we really want to get the koi. Two, can you make another pond for the dragons? Like, we know there are constellations, but can you add a pond with food, and the other dragons so they can be friends? Thats all, this game is great.
To be relaxing as advertised, it cant be too difficult/stressful. But every video game needs some difficulty to be engaging. We feel that balance was found from being hurt by only two sources (red plants and red pufferfish), and it feels the primary difficulty is the journey the game takes you on, trying to collect every single Koi. It feels like youre taking care of exotic fish that never die (as far as we know. We avoid pufferfish and red plants like the plague ). Long story short, Im enjoying this game, and the cultural legend of Koi turning into Dragons and ascending to the Heavens is very cool. P.S. This is only the tip of the iceberg. So try it out if interested.
We remember playing this around when it originally came out years ago and didnt think it was still around much less the second version. Still very much the same game and enjoyable. We will say we have to dock a star because we have a personal peeve with the second type of puffer fish that harms your koi. Theres simply too many of them and its impossible not to get stuck on them constantly if youre fish is at a lower level still, even at higher levels theyre really annoying while trying to breed with another fish as the other koi will just swim right through them. Otherwise its a chill game.
We really like this game, very relaxing and entertaining. However there seems to have been an update that changed the color of the water in the pond but also made the symbols much harder to see. We sometimes like to swim around and find the symbol ourselves without using the button that takes us right to it but now thats almost impossible to do. Please fix this and we will rate 5 stars.

To start, yes im writing a paragraph. Im finding a bunch of dum/temporary games. Not that their bad btw! But just something to waste some time, and rating them for fun. First off, love the game, super smooth graphics and, shockingly NO MANDATORY ADS!!!! This is something ive never found before, we can see why this game could help with stress, but thats not our reviews topic. But, no games are perfect we find this game a bit repetitive and boring, also its very hard to eat the pufferfish because they have 300 degree eyesight or something, its always fun seeing the dragons though! Honestly devs, if you read this, just maybe add a bit more interaction with the dragons, lessen pufferfish eyesight, and add something different every now and then. Thank you.
When other koi successfully breed with us it wastes time the annoying other koi keeps on following us.
We love this game its so fun and relaxing and definitely makes you lose track of time but whats the point when youve collected pretty much everything like theres no new fish no new updates nothing. Then you want people to go buy the pro version for like 6 dollars a month which is ridiculous especially cause you dont have majority of the fun mechanics that this one has and you just tell people to come play this one but you never update this one. You guys should really update this one and give new patterns and stuff instead of expecting us to buy the other one and then telling us to play this one cause the pro doesnt have what this one has. Also the point of it being pro is the fact it has all the features of this game and more. Not taking stuff out of it. And making a whole different game.
Pearls are too hard too get can we have some missions for pearls and other items.
We find this game very relaxing, fun, and even addicting! Its not one of those games where it takes absolutely forever just to progress at all. This game is a good pace for just playing whenever! Its really satisfying when you ascend a koi into a dragon, which it doesnt take that long for us.
We remember playing this when we were like 15 Im now 24 thank you for sticking around and keeping this cute little game.
Dear Landshark games, This game is 100/100 even though its just 5/5 but anyway there is just one flaw,by the way Im a kid.The flaw is that there needs to be more space in your koi inventory and egg inventory.we literally had to release some of our rare kois and thats just sad.But its still an amazing game and you should keep it that way.Im gonna finish this up;3.

While ZK2 may not be for everyone, Im really enjoying it. We like the colors, the different Koi patterns, and we find the repetition soothing right now. You CAN play for free, which is great, but we have found Im spending enough time in the game that we didnt mind spending some money on some of the extra perks. We played the classic version first, and found that we prefer ZK2. And Ive looked at the pro version, but we honestly think we wouldnt like it as much as ZK2. We do very much wish they would develop this version so that it could be an off-line game. We would like to be able to play it while traveling/flying.
This game is relaxing and easy. It really helps calm us down after stressful and tiring days. We have a problem with anxiety, but this game really helps. We have a couple of suggestions. 1) Maybe add more stuff to do with the dragons. Once you do the constellations, they are kind of pointless. 2) Could you possibly add an in-game npc that you could trade with? 3) Multiplayer competitive race to ascend to a dragon. Those are all of the suggestions we have for now! We have found a few glitches. We were playing as a dragon, and its limbs were not attached to its body. Its quite funny, but please fix this.
Supper fun relaxing, easy and not boring at all one of the best games Ive ever played and we hope they come out with a 3rd game thank you so much for making this game. This is the best.
It is very fun and all that but it is really hard to do the game if you dont want to spend any money and it is really annoying to get the gems.
This game has help us with our mental health and stufflike cmon man it a good relaxing game for people who just need a break from everything.
So to make it short Im new, we used to play on our old iPad and now we use our new one, we expected to get the limited collector koi because we were new and we didnt receive it in our inbox, please send it to us.
Ok lets start with saying this game is SUPER.it is a very good app and it can calm you down very much! The only thing we would change is that it goes sort of slow and glitches sometimes, but our iPad is old so it might just be that. But still, the developers made a very amazing game so congratulations to you guys.
Personally we love this game, but the thing we find annoying is that (unlike zen koi pro) there is no way to tell if you are getting close to breeding a new koi pattern. True zen koi pro just got that update but we love it! Ive been playing zen koi pro more then zen koi 2 because of this please respond and add a update soon that changes this.
We played the Pro+ version but wanted to experience the full game. We were going to buy pearls but saw we were able to watch an ad, so we watched it. It froze the app and we wasnt able to close the add. So, we forced closed the app and went back in – it didnt count. Okay, tried again. Same thing. Tried a few days latersame thing. Sorry. Not giving our money to an app that makes you watch ads for a reward thats never given. Get the koi to eat a few of those bugs, then maybe we will. Until then3 stars, because it is a laid back enjoyable game.
The prices for everything are INSANE! New skins are waaaaay too hard to get. Way overpriced and not enough opportunity to earn in game decorations and skins. We like the game but its a simple game. The prices being charged you would think its the new gta or something. Get real.
We were so excited to see a new version of the game, having played the original for years. We like all the newer prey and that the levels arent always the same we happily paid for items in the first game, not just to remove ads but also to pay the developers In the new version we thought this was the same and bought a package.but Im still seeing ads. Thats disappointing Furthermore one of the ads was for zen koi pro. We saw the option to play offline and thought it was great! We were all set to pay for that upgrade.only to find its a completely different game? No thanks. Finally the music for this version is just a little off. The original music was soothing. Theres a tension in this music. We wish the original music was an option. We like the movement of the game, just wish there were some more options and offline play.
Yeah, we were hoping for a good game, but as soon as we expand, theres thorn bushes, and the prey looked bad and disgusting, so no.

Unlike Zen coy one, you can actually evolve your Koi super quickly although Im new at playing the game we dont really have that many Koi but theres not really like we cant really get that many eggs unlike in zen coy one we got too many eggs and too many coy. Also, we love how you can play the dragons.
As soon we play the game when when we kio gotcha level 10 we saw this like heart kio and then everything changed Wish us luck for new ones. Our second favorite game.

Love the game and have been playing on off for years, starting with the first game. The content of the game fun and entertaining and nothing is annoyingly blocked by ads like a lot of games. We only have one suggestion is that we wish we could see the names we gave the koi after they ascended. Like whats the point of naming them if they just end up nameless anyways? Otherwise great game.

This is a GREAT GAME and we TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT however there is ONE problem we figured out some of the koi are SEASONAL and UNAVAILABLE FOREVER! <- us rn we really really REALLY REALLY R E A L L Y want the unavailable koi to be ummm idk available during the season it was available in to be purchasable with pearls and yeah if it happens 5 stars Note: we looked on the wiki and yea it said they are not unavailable forever.
Great game, good patterns and good graphics, relaxing game but, One thing that it prevents this game from being a 5 is THE FREAKING PUFFERS!!! Specifically the red puffers, they are a freaking killjoy, they are so numerous and slow you down enough you can lose some mates for your koi (and we have lost many presumably rare pattern mates for our koi because of them) we have devoured may red puffers dispite not needing any for gems simply just to spite them, like they actually make us angry. If you removed them that would be great, regular puffers arent as bad. Great Game otherwise (Though seems like we need more koi space the slots we are given are not nearly as enough, even the pearl costs are not worth it) we hope you devotees read this, an automated response just wont cut it here in this case, Im sorry this is just how much of a problem red puffers are.
