What Makes 3volve Stand Out
Develop a mutation fixation with 3volve – the super simple, addictive puzzle game for all ages!
Gameplay:
- Swipe to merge 2, 3 or 4 matching icon tiles. Combining 3 matching icons in one or more moves allows that icon to evolve to the next phase.
- If the board fills up and there are no more moves available, you will have the option to use a Mega Merge to combine all existing matches on the game board to free up space and keep the game alive. Mega Merges can be won or purchased.

We never thought we'd get addicted to this game but it is just so easy to play and we want to evolve higher so badly. We're hooked :).
Its starts slow but gets really addicting.
What a great game! Lots of fun and no ads! We would even welcome some ads to support the developers a little. Our only question so far is shouldn't the gaseous stage come after the crystalline stage? A gaseous creature would be further away evolutionarily speaking than a solid one no? Anyway that's just nitpicking, love the game.
We really like this game, but it is so hard we cannot even get almost half way complete the game without using up all of our mega merges, and even then we still lose. Why not instead of playing the game on a hexagonal grid, you play on a square grid. Also, instead of merging three icons in order to evolve to the next level, why not just merge two icons to evolve to the next level. If you made these changes, then we would give this game a five star rating.
This app takes the number game to a whole new level all while allowing fun and interesting gameplay. Best find of the new year.

Time killer but a bit annoying when app kicks us out sometimes when got 4in a row!!! Tht's not fair :(.
Great little game, but advanced progress depend entirely on buying a "power up" … If those were a little easier to obtain for free or you got a few more per purchase, it wouldn't be so bad… It is amusing and a definitely time waster though. Gaining the "power up" by in game mini-games may be a nice alternate option to buying by them all. (Unless you hit the 4 in a row roulette just right).
We look forward to midnight everyday so we can get more Merges.
…and not be struck down by holy lightning! The addiction of the game is tempered somewhat by slow progression, though.
Full disclosure, we are friends with the developer/designer of this game. Which is why we downloaded it in the first place. We played it at first, not really understanding what was going on. But then it clicked, and now months later we are still hooked. We typically do not play IOS games on our phone, but 3volve has us hooked. It's just a lot of fun, it's well designed and we can't recommend it enough. Start playing, you won't be sorry.
