Its a shame this game receives so much hate. Its free without any ads, and contains considerably more depth in the first ten levels than most paid games out there. Its incredibly difficult, and it may take a lot of effort and strategy to kill bosses. Thats just how it is. If you dont like challenges this isnt a game for you, but that doesnt mean its a bad game. We personally like the almost Dark Souls-ish feel and the platforming is diverse enough to keep us playing when more levels arise. We agree that its not complete yet, and still faces some control problems, but the effort is definitely apparent (especially in the art style and atmosphere). With upgrades and character customization this could be an amazing game, and it already is incredible. Giving this game away is definitely a huge deal, and we think it will only improve.

The game is fun and ok but its miss sooo much things such as inventory and healing potion armors swords and stuff and the controls are terrible… We give it 3 star because its fun and the graphics is good.

Super cool concept but the execution is honestly terrible. The controls/mechanics arent NEARLY good enough for there to be so many instakills .

Its decent at best. Im actually a little disappointed we spent money for this game, should have known to be wary of pre-orders. We get that it just released not even a full 24hrs ago, but we’ve played other mobile games at release that have a lot more polish on a much smaller budget (Im guessing a game like this wasnt cheap to make) Pros: – beautiful world building with plenty of detail filling the levels – nice model design for the player character – variation in the enemy design, not all skeletons are the same etc. – somewhat interesting boss battles with interesting twists Cons: – level design is too linear, feels like youre playing the same level for the first 6 or 7 levels – none of the environment is destructible except blocked areas youre supposed to go through to further progress, which makes the game feel stagnant and lifeless – movement is wonky, sensitivity of controls is way too high and theres no way to adjust it. Fell off of so many bridges by trying to simply turn around because of how sensitive the joystick is – attack animation feels slow even though its not terribly slow, but it makes battling a chore because you can never improve your battle tactics or improve your fighting ability. Youre stuck with the same basic attack. – because attack animations have lag, you get hit trying to attack when enemies gang up together, so any battle becomes a suicide mission because you can never really block everything when 5 or 6 enemies are all swinging at once – jumping doesnt serve you much in battle, as the timing window for dodging attacks with a jump is so small you may as well just stay on the ground and eat the hit – some enemies attack faster than you do, which makes some battles nearly impossible to win if they have backup – your shield cant block everything, namely fire arrows, and since you typically never run into bowman skeletons by themselves, they become incredibly deadly because they can sit there and spam arrows while youre trying to deal with their friends and just kill you in no time flat – arrows do too much damage, and it makes survival missions impossible to win because you get overrun by melee mobs while snipers just pump you full of arrows from a distance (how does a sword or axe strike do half the damage of an arrow???) – traps like fire or floor spikes shouldnt be one-hit killers, leave that to the swinging axe blades and the spiked/saw wall sections – theres hardly a story in the beginning, just a narrator citing really vague and enigmatic sayings, just for the sake of trying to sound clever. Could be done better – voice acting needs some work, at certain points we could barely hear what the narrator was saying because the audio was so poorly balanced, an obvious one is at the very beginning of the game where it seems like the narrator is practically whispering Bugs: – sometimes if enemies get you in a choke point or surround you, you cant get out even if you jump – if you die at certain parts of a level, it might respawn you behind the background terrain, thus dropping you into a dead zone and killing you again, and trapping you in a loop of death. This can only be fixed by restarting the entire level, which is tedious to say the least – some hits if timed wrong dont even register on the enemy – theres no practical way to dodge, you either block or get hit – no upgrades so far to armor, weapons, no abilities or skills, not even stats All in all it seems like this game is just stretched out with the blocking mechanic, because if you dont want to die you have to block, and blocking forces you into this turn-based hell where you attack, then block, then they attack, then you attack, block, over and over and over and over and over. And this pads out the game, because theres really no other content to explore, its just turn-based battles through super linear levels. Edit: we left such an in-depth critique with valid points that should really be addressed or at least answered for, and all you could respond with was this game didnt cost anything. Really? Youre not going to at least acknowledge that you read our critique???

Ill play the game then update this.

The aesthetic and difficulty are both very high. We beat this game in about 4 hours, but it was a very intense hardcore experience. Bosses that trade blows, punishing bad timing and positioning. Environments require timing and 3D platforming. The checkpoints are a little far at times, but doable. Ranged enemies can’t be blocked, which was strange at first. Bosses and fights reward full sword charges quite a lot, so trading for minor blows often is preferable than playing it safe.

We know we havent played the game yet but we wanted to say your concept of dungeons and boss battles fit into mobile is a really cool concept. We hope you go far places starting with this game!

Honestly its really good, us and our friend had a hard time beating a boss but it was really fun.

Heres a bug that may make people confused or upset that they cant progress, if you die to something when you have your shield raised, your shield is stuck raised when you respawn, you just need to tap the shield again to fix it, thats about it. Other than that, great game, we plan on playing it to the end.

Hey we’ve played this game and we think its really awesome! However those bosss maybe are a little.. Uhh.. Kinda strong? But we would like you guys to make the bosss a little weaker maybe. But this game is so awesome!! Hope you make more games in the future! – TheEpikNub.

We have played a lot of games so far this is the first game so far thats been really fun to play,I have to also admit that this is the first most game that we have really played that is pretty addictive considering how well its written plus amazing graphics it also shows the dedication put into this game to pay attention to so small details that are really amazing like no other we’ve seen before well lets be honest no really respect the work that put into these games these days because have no idea how hard it to create & design such wonderful workmanship that has been put into this app. We got to say this you really hand it to them for whats its worth you really did a fantastic job. Anyone who wanting a hands on experience this is game is to be played so before you try any other games out there we think you should try this game to see how fun this game truly is to play to challenge.

So far so good but it’s freaking hard.

This game is very fun to play and often leaves you frustrated. It is a challenging game that has no ads in it! We havent finished playing the game yet, but it has been quite a journey so far. The controls are pretty easy, but the boss battles and the many fights you come across are difficult. The game reminds us of other very popular video games, like God of War, but its different. The game is fun, but it could use some new things, like a difficultly setting, an upgrades menu, and also some more chapters, because 10 chapters arent enough and each chapter is pretty short. There should also be an area, in the game, where we can train and practice our skills so that we can improve them and fight the tougher bosses. We also think that the story should be a bit more clear, because we start off as a random knight in the middle of a dungeon. Overall, this is a great game, with good graphics for its kind, and is fun to play. We hope to see new updates that will bring more cool features to this game in the future.

Either Im bad or this is hard. Hard but fun. We dont know how many levels there are yet but we’ve already spent hours and cant get passed a certain point lol. GG.

Hello. We cannot stop playing this game. It is so addicting but very challenging. We’ve made it to the pet in chapter one where you need to survive which is a joke. There is no surviving that level. Maybe increase weapon damage? Thanks for reading.

This game is so freaking cool agghhhh.

Since the game released a few minutes ago, we can be able to play it with awesome design and smoothness with proper playing, no bugs yet, just wanted to have the first review ever to tell everybody that the game is pretty awesome:)

We dont know why people hate it we were really hyped and we know lots of mobile games are trash but this is pretty good Ideas for the game: a roll button to dodge a shield bash to stun enemies difficultly levels level up system different weapons and shield each with new abilities skill points magic mini bosses different heroes different story depending on what hero you choose.

This game is the best game we have on our phone we were the first to play this game when it came on too the App Store we recommend 5 stars.

We love this game but its so hard to beat, it took us 25 minutes to beat the first mission but all in all its an amazing game.

This is an amazing game with ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL artwork. Well done to the creators. We just love the game!

The game is really hard if you like a challenge play this.

Great game! We love it. Great graphics for, gameplay, all that good stuff. Now all it needs is some more levels and additional stories!

This game is hard, in the best way. Has a Dark Souls and Skyrim esque fighting style that takes time to learn and master.

Is there an actual way to beat the warcheif.

First boss fight is too hard, you can even stand on top of the characters but they can still hit you, and make the main character more stronger its makes it impossible to beat him.

El juego esta bien, porque apenas est comenzado, espero que mejore ms y bueno a darle.

Seriously this short? No in app purchases? No second chapter or more levels? Just short free game? This should be many chapters and environments.. We mean the creators can turn this into a gold ours.. Just make a paid chapters.. Cant wait to play more and Ill pay anything for this.

We really like this game. The mystery of what the knight did is fascinating and Id like to know more, but PLEASE, dont make our pone vibrate whenever we push a button. Its infuriating. Also, the movement is a bit unresponsive, but Im fairly sure thats our phone. We really like the game however, the graphics are great and the music is good. The story seems nice and once you learn how to fight its not so bad. Thanks for the game! Bug updates: at the beginning of the third?? Maybe 4th level, was walking along the background wall and fell through the floor into the water.

We played the first level and was farmed by the goblin warlord. Whenever we kill his goblin army to heal, they just respawn and swarm us. The warlord himself needs to be seriously nerfed. The obstacles are a one hit kill. The graphics are good too. But you have a lot of places to improve.

The game is pretty cool for V1.0……. But the game is very rough, the sound design is subpar for example the omnipresent voice that speaks doesnt sound like a villain it sounds like garbled dialogue pitch down, the enemys dont feel realistic in the sense that they hit and wait for you or another for another enemy to hit, and the top down side scroller doesnt look cool perhaps if it was more of an 3rd person perspective, or maybe certain sections or in its top down style. MY MAIN ISSUE with the game is the CONTROLS , it doesnt feel good to walk let alone battle, jumping feels like we turned on moon gravity and sometimes the pile of rubble gets In the way of movement. THIS should be your first priority for future updates. (Side note if possible a doge roll would be cool ) ALL IN ALL the game looks very promising, we are definitely gonna keep the app, good job we believe that with time this will be a Triple A mobile game hopefully the updates come soon!!!!!

Great souls aesthetic, almost unplayable though because of non-existent hit registration and terrible UI.

The game was great, it looked great, but we just found one problem, you are inmortal if you keep using your shield… Might want to fix that in the future.

Bosses and Enemies have way too much health compared to player on the first part of the game. It feels like we get hit once, and we’ve already lost half our health. Please do something to fix this!

Theres a lot of input lag, controls are pretty decent, holding the shield just makes you literally invincible and we disagree with that, Its impossible to block then slash, then block, with the timer on each, please reduce that a bit. That last one may just be us. Also the movement, not the controls, is wierd. It does wierd things that you dont expect, and enemies can hit you midair. Great game so far.

So yeah, this game is fun. But there are problems. The boss fights can be pretty stupid, but the combat and rag doll physics are amazing. Also its way too short. Maybe the creator is going to update it with more content, but until then, its a fun game for a few hours. We would recommend because its free, and you can see the effort that went into it, but dont expect it to take more than an hour.
