This game is visually appealing with its vibrant and charming graphics, and the core gameplay is genuinely engaging. However, the overwhelming number of ads severely detracts from the overall experience. It feels like there's an ad after every single level, menu selection, or even a minor action. These constant interruptions completely break the flow of the game and become incredibly frustrating. While we understand the need for developers to monetize their games, the sheer frequency of ads in this title feels exploitative and pushes it into "unplayable" territory. A more balanced approach, such as fewer ads or the option to pay for an ad-free version, would drastically improve the user experience and make us far more inclined to continue playing and recommend it to others. As it stands, the excessive ads overshadow any of the game's positive qualities.
We love this game. We have every skin!!! Ive won so many maps we cant even count!!!!! This game takes up almost all of our free time for games. Sadly, we have limited screen time. If we didnt, we would play this game all day, every day!!!! This game rocks.

Who cares about adds we get to eat the world. Sure adds can be annoying some times but the actual game is very fun! You should get it ur missing out on all the fun.
We love this game its so addictive but we pay for no ads but we still get ads ughhh it dont make no sense lol smh we need a refund if we still have to watch ads. We made two purchase and both of them was no ads and Im still getting ads. Gonna delete this app love it but to many ads. Im tired watching every 30 sec and pay for ads and Im still watching ads. Due to a error where the max size is no longer as big (-1 original max) you can not eat volcano, still fun if you get past this, the fake multiplayer, the rigged halftime, the fact that they removed every fun feature like endless hole, them resetting skins sometimes causing unlocked skins to vanish, the constant ads even in paid version, hole.io website no longer working in favor of overmonetization on app,your progress is pointless, and a few other issues, this game is a husk of what it used to be, thanks for the overmonetization, also, the only reason we still have ring of fire skin but not the others is when you locked ring of fire behind a paywall and reset all users who had it(including us), we had the skin equipped, finally something good youve done.
The Super Hard levels are possible to beat but ONLY if you start with a booster AND watch ads for more time. Ive started with the larger booster, the additional time booster, and have still had to watch ads 2 or 3 times for an extra 30 seconds, each time, just to finish one of those levels. The boosters are ridiculously expensive to purchase, requiring 300 gems (each) but you only earn a handful of gems at a time. The developers are constantly listening to players and updating the game, and it is a lot of fun. A good time waster, responsive game mechanics, a fun sound design (we love hearing all the different peoples expressions when you eat them), and great graphics. We just wish the Super Hard levels were achievable without having to throw everything youve got at it, because the Super Hard levels are not rare. We just played one, wasted our last 2 boosters, watched an ad to get more time to hopefully finish the level, and the ad crashed the game. So now Ive lost the boosters AND wasted our time on that level. We have no more gems to buy boosters, so we guess Ill just go play that level over and over again until we rage delete the app because we cant progress. Or Ill play it and spend too much time watching ads just to try to eat a level thats too big for the time given to beat it.
We were watching an ad and the player became larger than the map, which isnt possible. Theres a size limit.
Ive been playing this for quite awhile and yeah we may have done away with the forced ads but a lot of extra ads come in which get annoying. Our question is what use are the coins? New content never unlocks for us , or does it even exist at all.
U lie about that talllll building and being able to eat on walls!!!!! Still good.
Id like this game so much we showed it to our whole family. They liked it and we instantly got attached.
This is the best mobile game we can ever play when we are mad this is better than Fortnite.
What pisses us off is every 5 levels when your moving on, other people in game try to sabotage the level, we are the supreme ruler of Hole.io, we lay others to waste in our path, you see us on your board, run and hide, we will destroy you without a second thought and sleep very well at night doing so.
This game is really good but the half time feature sucks we mean why do we have to watch 6 minutes of ads But we only play 4 minutes and this is why we gave it four stars.
Every time you are in a game there is a add every minute.

4th Update 12/2025: Another Update: Just when Im enjoying the game again, Im getting pretty tired of the same worlds over and over again. And this is happening again. – we also just noticed that the feature that it gives to either eat the magnet or the ball that makes everything shrink and the arrow that makes the hole grow is gone! We actually liked that feature. What the heck?! 3rd Update: the magnet another features are back, but some of the other worlds are gone and Ive been stuck in the same few world and for over a month. It seems like the game is stuck in one place we also just noticed that the feature that it gives to either eat the magnet or the ball that makes everything shrink and the arrow that makes the hole grow is gone! We actually liked that feature. What the heck?! 2nd Update: we had stopped playing, but we noticed the great updates, until recently. Now it only gives us the options to play on a couple of islands. All the rest of the islands or maps that were available before arent showing up anymore. Disappointed. – do you plan to ever update this game?!! This game is so addicting we havent even been playing a couple of other games that we usually play. The only thing that Im not crazy about is that there is no background noise. That actually bothers us a lot. Even if its quiet music.
Hello, voodoo! Im here to express our gratitude for you INVENTING THIS GAME!! Its our fave idle game ever and more games like this should exist! We love the concept of eating the world, its so evil and fun!!! We DEMAND MORE EVIL GAMES!!!!!!! However, there are some downsides one theres halftime wich is basically a useless ad break. And if its HALFTIME then why isnt there only one, right in the middle? It makes the game seem more unfinished, in a way. That leads us nicely into ADS. This is not a bad thing that you have these, but there shouldnt be so many!! We appreciate the fact that they are playable, and that they show tips and tricks for Paper.io but there is too many of them, and lots of them take a long time to click out of. Also, there's this one really annoying one that keeps on popping up randomly: coffee beans or coffee machine apple pay ad… REALLY ANNOYING. Pls delete this ad as soon as possible, because it's boring, and it's really just a video that takes really long to click out of!!!!!! Also, we the fruit merge ad! We would give this game 5 stars but we cant. The game is always giving you gold coins, but you hardly ever get the gems, and we cant spend a single gold coin. There is nothing to spend gold on in the store at all, or anywhere in the game. So why even offer so much of the gold if we cant spend it on anything.
We purchased the package to get rid of ads and Im still forced to watch ads when playing hard levels. Is how the game goes? We hope not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So we love this app. Its so much fun but just one problem theres so much ads. Its just we cant take it. Theres so much like when you swallow something in the game like swallow a house or something or a tower and then you press something by accident there was an ad there was so much ads but otherwise we definitely recommend you should download it but definitely keep in mind. Its gonna be a lot we mean it was really fun for us but one thing we know we keep saying theres so much ad ads and ads, but Im gonna take it seriously we mean Im trying to free trial ads and it said its gonna be free but it was like $20 each month. Thats a lot of money and Im like only like a kid pay that much money we are only eight years old so we dont have that type of money. We mean we have like $20 but not for each month otherwise its really fun.
Game. This needs improvements. Who is with us? If you are reading this before downloading the app, you are smart. You are not like us, someone who is like Omg we need to get this game!!! We paid for the no ads version quite some time ago and now they brought it back and it seems like they shortened the time to be a hole as well to make you watch ads. We also feel like whatever they did to the way the matches work with time is also really weird and we just dont like playing this game anymore.
Theres to many adds if we could take off the adds we would every 5 seconds an add pops up in our face just stop with the adds like okay if theres an add every ten minutes thats fine if you dont like adds dont get it.

We love the game itself, and we understand the need for ads. But it would be much more enjoyable if the ads were in between levels and not right in the middle of gameplay. We absolutely hate playing a game and getting cut off by an ad. We were so excited to redownload this app after many years but Ill be deleting it already for that reason. Love playing this game but there's way too many ads. To play 3 mins of game, you have to watch 90+ seconds of ads. That is not including the ones after the game. It is what they call "halftime"… So in the middle of gameplay, you must watch ads. Please fix this.

Ive been playing hole.io for years! The new version is simply OK, we understand developers trying to keep up with the joneses but we definitely miss the ORIGINAL hole.io! Thats the only reason we have it a 3 star rating.
It's not that bad but every time we go on this game iplay and it give you a reward and then it say click it continue we click it and it allways gives us a add and it's so annoying and it just makes us so angry too. Please stop with the adds it so annoying just stop it.

This is a great game but the ads are ridiculous if you loose and want to continue its and want to play bonus levels its an ad specials game mode you play for a bit ad this is after you purchase the ad free version Im deleting this game not cuz its bad or repetitive but the ads are overdone.
This game is so fun, but it really gets redundant because they need to make more boards. Its just the same ones over and over and over again.

The game is really fun but it has really bad quality and takes FOREVER to load. Also, why do you need halftime? This isnt the nfl its a game.
We like the app and its a fun game to past time but it does have its quirks. We dont like all the ads and the fact that its not like the original game where where you can scroll and find a character on the Home Screen.
Please is there a way to purchase a no-ad option? We will never download Gossip Harbor because we are so annoyed by how often we have to watch the ads.
We love the game but theres just way too much adds you barely get to play the game because half time is every 2 minutes and its really annoying that you have to pay 10 dollars just to stop getting adds constantly playing.
