Now we are an adult, an 80s-90s 2010-Present Gamer! We usually don't pay for tokens et. Al. We took off 1 star as it appears when we find ourselves with a 1/2 hour free and when we decide to play (once a week or so) it always needs an update! And rubies!! It is frustrating! 2nd we took off the next star due to its cost!! This is an exorbitantly expensive game with few perks for those who had invested emotionally, financially and time-wise! We have spent more than we are willing to admit to and yet have not recd an incentive that is 1/4th of what we spent-the casino apps take your money, but you are enticed by the wins-big & little!! Yeahi know you have to make a profit bit why not consider us investors whose stake had made you successful!! (this/we unfortunately can not go on in 2025 – we hope you treat your dedicated invested family players better in the future you are making so much and continue to take without remembering why you are doing so wellit is customers who have invested who now feel unimportant- please offer a Christmas BounceBack Bonus 1/2 of what we purchased this year in rubys!! 1.) its holiday time there is no extra money 2.) trust us wed continue to play still & would feel seen, included and appreciated for our investment! We are back with another review. The game is fun if you can truly play it. The daily rewards from social media is the bare minimum to use towards resources. Only being able to trade 2 cards per day and to be friends on facebook is too much. Most games allow you to connect to Facebook without being friends. The 60 day card challenge is ridiculous. Too collect over 3500 cards and still not complete all the sets is insane. There is now way every player of the game has the exact same duplicates. They just want your money. There are times that the cards are delayed during play. They tried to make the game better but didnt think all set backs of those changes.UPDATE: why are yall steady giving gild ignot as a reward? We cant use it for anything. At the very least lets us use it to trade for gold cards without it costing too much. The updates are good but it takes too long and too much energy. The daily rewards suck big time.

Ive been playing Family Island for a couple years. Obviously, we like the game alot.
The game was fun at first. They bombard you with energy and diamonds.. Thats when we guessed what was coming next. Around level 10, you start struggling to get anything. Youre energy can be completely full, but you only get to craft one or two items, and then its gone again. The game gets very boring at that point. They REALLY badly just want you to spend money. Not a game to keep around.

This game is like a tropical escape with chores you actually want to do. Building up your quirky little island, cooking, crafting, and exploring with the family feels cozy and relaxing, with just enough challenge to keep you hooked.
We really enjoyed this game. It made time go by fast. It made us lose track of time and also we love the various island it included. It has multiple different games within the game which keeps you entertained and not bored. Totally recommend.

We love how the game lets you move at your own pace no pressure, just steady progress and good vibes. Energy refills at a fair pace, the quests are engaging, and everything runs smoothly without lag or glitches. Its the perfect mix of relaxing and rewarding. If you like island-building games with personality and charm, this one deserves all five stars.
This game is fun. We've played it on and off for a while. The only thing we would change is being able to add friends just through the game instead of having to add through Facebook.
There's enough to do in the game to keep you occupied but the amount of energy it takes to gather resources is extreme making it harder to complete islands as you go along. Other than that, we really like this game.
We like the game but just dont understand why it gets way more expensive when you buy the adventure pass when we first got the game its was only $4.99 usd for a few purchases then it went up to $9.99 usd then $14.99 usd and now its $24.99 usd. We just dont understand why its getting crazy expensive.
Heres our second review: as much fun we have when we play this game, and as much as we play when Im broke, why did we spend $9.99 for 12 keys, and, having NEVER USED THEN YET, we found them GONE??? Either give us back our $9.99, or the 12 keys-!! WOW- we wouldve ever thought the developers of this game would do that to a loyal player! Im shocked. Yall should be hella rich by now.
We wish reviews were discarded after major updates to games. There was a major update a few months ago and it totally changed the game strategy. If you plan to spend time playing this game daily then this is not for you. Its more of a log in every day for a few minutes of game play. If you like to spend $10 a day to play a game then this is a good game for you. On our current level one task will take us 11 days playing twice a day for about 4 minutes to complete. We currently have 13 different offers to spend money but we refuse to do that for a game that already makes us watch ads to gain energy.
Fun game..at first. Full of Ads. Constant restrictions/setbacks but if you $$. Absolutely not worth YOUR time and certainly not your money that they so demand. Find another game.
Ive been playing for over a week every day and have come to notice a few things. When you harvest basic things for crafting like clay, grass, and sticks.. The game will play a little animation of those materials going into your storage. However, those materials do not show up in storage. Theyre supposed to but they dont. At the beginning of the game yes those materials store but after all the basic tutorials it no longer does that. After that the fastest way to get those materials without spending money is to spend energy which in turn fills up Beaver food that then turns into materials to craft. We get that its a pay to play game but then take the animation away and dont lie about the fact Im collecting materials when Im not. Theres a bunch of other little things like that but its still fun to play for free. You can get an hour or two of free gameplay out of it per day.
We enjoy playing this game helps us cool down what we had a long day at work.

We love this game, However we did the enter daily task and got 2500 energies taken away! They were there and then it showed none! Not sure what glitch happened but not sure what to do.

We absolutely love this game but we hate how much energy you have to spend on islands in return for a few energy gifts. So ridiculous. If you want to finish islands you have to spend money to do so.
We actually like the game play but after the first 15 levels or so if you are willing to spend moneyand a lot of it.it gets rather boring and redundant. They want you to make say 15 watches to build something but it takes a ton of energy to do it. YepI could buy it but we refuse. Mainly because they want to charge too much for too little. And at every corner youll need more and more energy, more rubies etc To us its just a big money pitat least if you want to really get the game going. Im deleting it as its run its course for us. Ps.All the messaging and ploys to supposedly get your free gifts are a joke. Half the time they dont work so you waste time trying to claim them and get nothing.

The game is fun but if you dont spend a ton of money you arent able to complete tasks and advance. The Loyalty Club is a joke. It is just another scam to get tot to spend money for energy and rubies. Leveling up should offer a larger reward as well.

Im really addicted to this game. We start playing it as soon as we wake up in the morning and keep playing until its time to sleep at night. The game is so interesting you can even create different islands, which makes it even more fun.
This game was very entertaining and kept us engaged. There was a lot to do and it felt very rewarding to progress.
The gam is great!! Love playing it and its addictive, our only thing is the rewards, they are hard to get, and you dont get that many when it comes to some rewards.. Thats our only downside to the game. Better or More rewards would be great.
We played this game some years ago, and got to a point where we were paying far more than we wanted in order to progress. So we decided to take a break. We recently decided to get back to this game. We still feel like there are numerous requests to purchase items, however, the game has progressed to the point that we feel we can enjoy the gameplay and NOT make every recommended purchase. It took a few days to reacquaint ourselves to the game, and we must say that there has been a number of improvements. We appreciate that there are numerous opportunities to enjoy the game, make occasional purchases. Thank you to the game developers.
