Im so glad AA has released their games for mobile devices. This was our first time playing DD and we loved it. Everything worked perfectly just like we were using a game console.
Okay so the game is really great but there's one problem . We recently finished the DLC case and u locked the costume , but whenever we try to access it it keeps crashing our game ?? Pls fix xoxo.
We see reviews complaining about technical issues with in-app purchases and sound cutting out. But we haven't had any issues with the game. This is a great title in the Ace Attorney series. Cases are enticing and full of twists as always. The new "mood matrix" feature enables a fun way of visualizing witness testimony.
We really hope the Capcom can relaunch the Resident EvilI really like itPlease let us enjoy it on our iPhone again.

We got all our purchases, wasnt scammed idk what yall are talking abt. This costume bull is maddening. 1 dollar for a menu we cant open? Thats real dumb. We have no idea why this happened, clearly they can fix this since SOJ does not have this issue. Overall, this is a really good game, would buy again.
This is the best game we ever played but this game need controller support.
The game itself was great! It was fun and the music is catchy. However, there is one bug in the DLC, After completing Turnabout Reclaimed, you get access to Phoenixs Nostalgic Sweater in the costume menu, but after we got it, we were unable to go back into the costume menu. Please fix.
Help, we finished the bonus case and got a sweater, and now it crashes whenever we try to view costumes.
Look these games are charming as hellalthough we kinda miss the game play of the OG trilogybut two things on iOS 15.2: – the audio cuts out occasionally when swapping between apps and most frequently when resuming game after screen time limits. (Im an adult and we can play our game 17 more times after the screen time alert if we want :p) – costumes DLC wont load & it crashes the game. Otherwise 9/10 will keep playing goofy game.
Since we got back into this series and decided to try out the iOS ports, we thought we should write a review for these games (seeing all the negative ones made us nervous). This one worked perfectly and we had zero issues with anything, until we finished the DLC case and unlocked a costume. The game crashes every time we try to access the costumes menu. Luckily, we didnt buy the costumes DLC anyway because we didnt really care to, so we recommend not bothering with that. The rest of the game is totally fine! If it matters, we played this on a 7th generation iPad (10.5), fully updated to 14.7.
We normally dont write a review on an app… But as a lover of AA, we had to. Basically every time you go on the app, only a part of the display is shown like its cut or something. The rest of the screen is pitch black and doesnt have touch sensibility. Pls help it fix this.
If you are running ios16, its going to be a bit buggy. It will freeze every so often. One thing that has helped is playing another episode in a different save file for a bit. It somehow makes the frozen one works. Otherwise its a fun game.
Ver 1.0.8 rolled out to support new iOS versions but still features the broken Costume button.
Why is this game missing from the App Store when it seems to play fine.
We thought this game was only 0.99 but we were wrong. Other than that, this game is amazing.
We loved playing this game, every case was interesting and awesome, but the ending of the game as a whole and the last case wasnt that great. All the other Ace Attorney endings are so much better, and even the endings to all the other cases besides the last one were interesting. We feel like the designers ran out of ideas for the last breakdown. Still a great game, though.
We love this game and the work that was put into the port. However, there is a problem where if you bought the dlc costumes and finish the dlc case (which unlocks an extra costume) it makes the costume change screen crash every time you try to open it. The only way to stop this is by erasing your save data but even then you still will never be able to use the costume you get for finishing the dlc chapter. Its a small thing and probably no one will see this but if it can be fixed that would be great.
This game is phenomenal. It really is. When we very first started it, we thought "where's the gameplay?? Am we just reading a story?" But it turned out that the introduction is just really long lol. Once the game play got going, we were completely hooked. The trials are fun and the overarching story is beautiful. We have no complaints. Just hoping for another one.
We dont get it. We have a brand new iPhone 7, the latest iOS, and we cant save games, or save our options without the game crashing?!? We are a huge Ace Attorney fan, but Im not sitting through the opening cutscene again unless you can fix this issue. Please, for the love of Justice, fix this! Fixed, yup! Thank you.
Costumes dont work. Every time we try to open Costumes, the game crashes! PLEASE FIX THIS.

We bought all of the episodes (with iOS 14) a few days ago, and like most reviews say, the episodes wouldnt load after purchase. We saw a tutorial on how to fix this. After purchasing the episodes, restore purchase with airplane mode on three or four times and then restore with airplane mode off and we swear to you it DOES WORK. We were so happy because we thought we had just thrown away our money.
This infuriated us. We purchased a one dollar game and now we have to pay 4 dollars on some episode.. Remove the purchase episodes thingy and let your players play it free, or raise the price up if you let the episode be free.
We absolutely love everything about these games, for this one we bought all the dlc costumes and the extra trial, but after we completed the extra trial and unlocked the extra costume every time we would try and reopen the costume menu we would encounter a crash, we would really love for this to be fixed cause we really love this game.
Great installment of the Ace Attorney series. Some of the logic puzzles are really well done and the story is told in such a way that you do feel for some of the characters which we enjoy. Happily spent money on all chapters. Voice acting choices are definitely characteristic of how Capcoms voice acting history. Take that as you will. What we are livid about is the extra costumes. They do not work. At all. If you buy them and attempt to open them in the settings menu, the game crashes. Its been this way for a very long time as far as we can see and on multiple devices.
This is a really good port of the original DS game, and is just a nice game overrall. There will be a couple typos here and there (especially in the first 2 episodes), but that's a minor issue. The main issue involves the music stopping out of nowhere while you're playing. And you can't just close and reopen the app to fix the issue, you must delete the app and reinstall it (which can get tedious considering the size of the app and how well your wifi works). Besides that, this game is amazing.
The game works Great on our phone but with the new update the game resolution got lower like it was Full HD but now is lower because of the update , or its not work Perfect on ios 11.3.1 ?, will we hope someday they fix this issue and we will be Glad to buy it twice (seriously we did but the game is awesome).
Yeah okay as youve probably already read about a ton; once you purchase a chapter it doesnt actually purchase. Or rather, itll SAY you purchased it but you wont be able to play said chapter you paid for. However in our case, after restoring and purchasing a few times we were able to unlock the second chapter with Apollo! Which in our book, is considered a semi win. Considering out of all the characters, Apollos MVP anyways- but thats the weird thing! We purchased ALL the chapters! Yet only apollos unlocked! Mayhaps it was destiny ohoho. But seriously im super glad it was Apollos that got unlocked phew. Im still really upset about the fact that the other chapters dont seem to be unlocking. And im REALLY not in the mood to delete the app after we got so excited for it. Especially after we finished Apollo Justice buzzing with eagerness to know more about MY BOY APOLLO. This is really annoying, we just wanted to play a great series with GREAT characters, and now im worried about the whole 15 bucks ive wasted on a game we cant even fully PLAY. Also, REALLY dont wanna purchase a whole new console solely for the ace attorney games. (cough nintendo switch) seriously. We really DONT wanna be asking for a nintendo switch for christmas. IM NOT MADE OF MONEY CAPCOM. FOR THE LOVE OF APOLLO PLEASE FIX THIS.
Cannot restore purchases after iOS update. This is a classic we come back to over and again. All iOS devices have this issue after update. We do not think its fair to have to purchase again.
We finished the game and got the notification that we unlocked phoenixs sweater outfit but unfortunately now any time we try to open the costumes menu it immediately crashes the app. It worked before but for some reason phoenixs sweater broke the game. Other than that this is a decent port of aadd.
It was good at first but then when we finish the first episode u have to pay for more and we already bought dis one dollar and now we have to add more in it? We dont think it worth it if u have to pay for more but the first episode was rlly good tho.
So Im still on the first day of the first trail and no matter what we do Im still getting a bad end at it.
Theres just one little problem, we paid for the costumes and we cant seem to open them. Every time we try to open them the whole app just closes. Overall we love the game and content, but it just we cant fully experience the game and Im outed .99 cents. It would be awesome to fix this bug.
We spent the $15 to purchase the episode 2-5 bundle, however they still show up as content that needs to be purchased. No amount of uninstalling, reinstalling, and restoring purchase works for this. Im not certain the issue, but we would either like the game to cooperate or a refund.
We can run the game on our iPhone 6S with iOS 14 but it stuck on purchase restore, which we dont think should be a gating issue as long as the game is excusable on a device. Definitely we dont want to pay again to something we already paid before, and it also stops us to purchase other in-app episode or content on Capcom game apps. Hope to see an update or at least an iOS-14-Users-Do-Not-Download warning soon.
Edit: After spamming restore a bunch of times on our iPad Pro (iPadOS 14) it finally marked the pack as purchased. Still think its ridiculous that this is an issue Purchased the episode pack only to realize that the app is bugged and isnt letting us start the episodes. It just says Purchase Content on the episode select screen. Need to reach out to apple now for this stupid app. Cant believe they still allow this to exist on the App Store despite not supporting recent iOS versions.
All the characters are misrepresented and the graphics are not good at all compared to the smooth 2D animations of Apollo Justice. It lacks the heart and love the original Trilogy had. The cases are boring, the characters arent memorable, and everything seems half-finished. Generally a disappointment.
The gameplay is what you expect from an Ace Attorney game, & the animations encourage a higher level of interaction! But… If you purchase the Costume Set and special episode, Turnabout Reclaimed, then best that episode, any further attempts to access the Costumes section of the Extras and DLC section causes the game to crash. Its extremely upsetting to be unable to access a feature that we not only paid for, but could access beforehand! Capcom, please update and fix.
We beat the special episode and was awarded Nick's nostalgic sweater. Whenever we try to access the costume menu, game crashes. Enjoyed the game and would give 4 or 5 stars, but crash is no good. Game Version 1.0.7, iOS 10.2.1.
The game wont let you play it even after you pay for it. Try many things but it still wont work.. They havent fixed the problem even after 2 years. It shows you how much they care. ( its free money for them).
We downloaded this game. For only one episode to work. You contact Capcom and they give you some lame general statement and that to buy a device that its compatible to. Update your fluffing game.
Ive now purchased This content twice. This app falsely offers a restore option. Even after pressing that option it continuously stated Failed to restore. So… In an effort to finish the game we went ahead and purchased an episode (we already owned on an older device when we purchased the whole game) only to be stopped cold with the same unable to restore message. What a rip off. We purchased this game and still have access to it on our IPhone XS Max but our current phone, the iPhone 12 Pro, is where we want to continue our journey with Phoenix Wright. Ive been playing this game since we owned a Nintendo DS. Capcom and Apple are nickel and dimeing us for something Ive already rightfully paid for. Crooks.
We on IOS 14.3 and we cannot purchase episodes 2-5 or dlc or the extra episode. (For those who dont know, you buy the game for .99 cents and only episode one is playable. The rest have to be purchased for $4.99 an episode or bundle it for $15) Please fix. We WANT to give you our money to play episodes 2-5. Until then we have to rate the app one star….because it doesnt work :/.
We bought a new phone and we cant restore the purchase. We are now having to rebuy it.
We dont write reviews for games but this is a literal rip off and we dont understand how a major gaming company can allow something like this. We paid 15.00 dollars for the rest of the game. We did this a while back, going through several of the AA games. We wanted to further support the company by buying the extra episode recently. Tried to buy, didnt work. We deleted and reinstalled the app and now suddenly we have access to none of the content we purchased. This is horrible to do to paying customers. We understand limitations of improving tech, however to suddenly lose access to a game that we previously had access to is truly unacceptable. We lost 15 dollars+ on this game. Dont buy it. It doesnt work.
We like this gems but the part where you need to to pay after you payed is a little unfair and its just annoying we love this game but we would rather play it on the es the end of our review.
We usually get the rest of the episodes after we get the game, but this is messed up. When we got this game, we were excited!!! But it wasnt when we got the main story set. When we got it, we went to the episodes, but we only had episode 1. BUT IT TOOK THE MONEY!!! It also took an extra amount of 12 dollars. We tried pressing the restore button, but it didnt work. Now what do we do.
Yeah thanks for scamming us out of our money we paid for the bundle twice but the content never downloaded so congratulations u got our money and wasted our time.
It makes you pay 0.99 at the base price then you ants you to buy more content as dlc.
