Ok, sohow do we explain this? Our husband is an octopus, and we think you got the idea from us and our significant other. Which is funny, because we dont think we have ever met a game developer in our entire 76 year old life. So, what Im trying to say is, we love this game, but we would appreciate it if you stopped stalking us. With love, Martha.
It was challenging at first but we got the hang of it eventually.
Starting the game, were introduced to Father Octodad Octopus seeming very unprofessional on his wedding day. From the beginning, you see Octodad journey through the church, slipping on banana peels and trying not to knock down vases. This shows how Octodad tries to live his life, and he succeeds, but sometimes risks his happiness because of how hard it is to be an octopus. He found a woman named Scarlet who can give him purpose, so he marries her, but there is no best man that has the ring. This adds a mystery aspect on Octodads past. Was his family unsupportive of him wanting to make something of himself and escape the sea life, even if he struggles? Or did his family die due to fishermen? You never know, which adds an aspect of not knowing his personality, leaving it open ended for the player to decide why there may be no best man. He gets married and falls from the sky in his dream, and knocks down the credits, which works into his personality of looking down on himself, thinking hes bringing everybody down. This is just the beginning mission of Young Horses magnum opus, so we highly recommend paying fifteen dollars. Fifteen dollars for an experience like no other.
Its super fun with objectives to complete and its easy to learn the controls. Its super funny with the movements of Octodad. One of the best $5 Ive ever spent.
Its the best game because its wiggley and its fun.
IT IS ART. So when we first played it on pc it was fun but WHEN IT CAME TO ASTRO BOT THE BEST GANE EVER 10/10.

We always beat the game every single day it never gets old the mini games and you can change the mode to easy Medium and hard. Get this game we recommend it. The controls are a little hard but youll get used to them.
Its very addicting but why did you guys add the silent but dadly achievement, its not possible to complete, nobody has ever completed it! Please delete that achievement.
We know we should us writing about this game we love it but can you make Bugsnax the show on Netflix about when crazy stuff happens and like the game pls im begging and about this game we love it really funny we love the space ship in the store it goes really fast lol.

Its so funny because when you try to grab stuff your arm is like its a balloons from the car dealership and its so beautiful because your family loves you no matter what you are but the chef thinks youre trying to hurt people but youre not you try to be normal and it doesnt matter what you are you be you.
We have an idea for the third! Octodad: The Departing.
So basically this was a great game we beat it once but our progress was wiped so idk but when we played it again we didnt find the key where it was supposed to be so we tried to do last checkpoint level beginning checkpoint bla bla bla stuff like that but it was the same every single time.
We wish it was longer but the funky controls make it the strangest game Ive played.
When we first got this game Some of the Controls were hard on our iPad but we got used to the controls like legs or arms when you start the game it shows a cutscene at a wedding and our new wife scarlet There is one scene It when Octodad is in the aquarium Stacy looks at her dad until Tommy (her brother stops her) sometimes the children heads glitch can you fix it? And This game is good and the family is funny and hilarious.
Enjoyed the the story but the controls are what made the gameplay irritating at times for us when we played.
Its amazing we love it so much but its easy to complete so we already finished everything we would love if there was more shorts.
The problem of this game is, we dont know how to raise our hand to do things and then when we play the game Im on this level, but we cant even play the games because youre too hard. Theyre too hard because when we play, we cant even raise our hand and the game we used to be easy. We dont know how to raise our hand so it makes it money. We used the money to get this game and we cant even raise our hand like we cant play none of the games basketball or anything because it wont let us raise our hand not even if we try we dont know how to put it up or put it down. Never works for us and we had every single prize, but we couldnt get one prize because we cant raise our hand to do the basketball or the dropping thingy. Thats why we hate the game.
This game is horrible it is rage.
First we started it was great but we cant move our screen please will you add something to teach you how to move the screen.

This may not be everyones cup of tea, but we still recommend anyone whos interested to try it. The game on its own is fine, but what really makes it fun is the co-op/multiplayer mode. Now this isnt just ANY co-op mode. You can hook up to 4 controllers that each control a different limb, so navigating levels is frustrating, but absurdly funny! Cool, right? You can see videos about it on YouTube if you want to see what we mean. Their are a few downsides though, beginning with the levels. We were imagining an Octopus trying to do every day things (which thats how it started), so on the third level where you go to the aquarium, we were expecting that there would be much more to do after. Sadly, that isnt true, because all the other levels are about that aquarium, and it can get boring quickly. Id like to see more levels added in a future update. The game just ends too soon, and believe us when we say that, we completed it in co-op mode in less than a day. And Im no great gamer. That being said, Id love to see more levels. Their are 2 bonus levels where you do different things, but only 2. Our second complain is about the free play mode. After every level you complete, you unlock in it free play mode. The bad thing is youre simply redoing the level, but you get to pick which level. Thats right, you cant even choose your level in normal mode, you need to play it in free play. We (somehow) accidentally skipped a level, and since we never played it we couldnt play it in free play mode. We couldnt play the free play level before it because free play mode doesnt advance you to the next level, and we couldnt play it on (we guess you would call it campaign mode) because no level selector. So Id love to see a level selector, as well as an ACTUAL free play mode where you can do whatever you want in each level, and maybe even be able to explore the entire map. Yet, even with the lack of levels, we still rate it 5 stars because its a hilarious game to play with your friends/family, and we totally recommend it. We hope to see more in future updates.

We love this game but it needs more levels or more shorts or at least Octodad skins.
We were 80% though and so close to getting the ending after two weeks and it crashed in the loading screen and deleted our save! Then we tried again and got to the store and we decided to see if our achievements were there and it froze and when we went back on it it deleted again!?! We cant do this game anymore if our save will be gone every hour, please fix the servers so we can play and not lose our weeks of progress, also can you make the new game button somewhere where you wont click on it by accident and then lose your save. R.we.p 1st save file, but please make the servers work again so we can play and not lose our save Also p.s we were at the part after you escape the shark if you can bring us back to it.

Hello there we are a H U G E fan of this game. It is hilarious and cool. Being and octopus who pretends to be a human being aint easy, but its fun and challenging enough to wanna play more. Its very confusing sometimes, with all the puzzles and games you have to complete- especially when you have a curious wife and two kids who go everywhere. From beginning to end, we were hooked, especially with the good bait :) (excuse the pun). We think you should do what Im about to say: MAKE A SHOW. Just the sequence itself, its the best part. You have your own theme song- what are you missing? You should TOTALLY make it a show or a movie of some sort. You have another Octodad game too, just to add on. You could think of plenty of episodes. Oh- and the reason we dont like the shorts- THEY ARE NOT SHORT. Theyre longer than the main game ITSELF. Besides, its a kids game so make it for kids. People who are thinking about buying the game- TOTALLY do it. Its worth it, trust us. We hope you guys think about doing these things, okay? BUH-BYE! ;).
This game is so good yall need to make more of it more chapters or episodes whatever because this game is so much fun where you were at the aquarium. Why do you have to give your ticket to the ticket booth we were stuck on it for a long time but we finally figured it out but this game is so fun please please please make more.
So we just got this game it is amazing we beat it already but it is very good we are not one of those fake bots if you think that but this game deserves 5 stars but there should be more or a Octodad two that would be great we know there is nothin for it to talk about next but you guys/creators made a masterpiece of a game.

The escalator is the worst we hate it we cannot get up it.
This game is 100 percent one of the best games we have ever played the storyline is great and the gameplay is great playing as this octodad has been so much fun but once you finish the whole game and side games there isnt much to do besides restart unless that was the intentions of making the game for the soul purpose of having it within the storyline we would like to request that you guys could make more we really like this game and we would love to play more.
Can you please make more because when we were done with it we cried when we were done and we got it the same day we won but we just felt too short so maybe add whatever you want theyll make the game more interesting and more bad guys and maybe you get to control in the water but we say you could probably make more.

Now going into this, we didnt expect a masterpiece. We just expected another game to kill time. When we got past the wedding part of the game, we were amazed. How could a game be this hard? Now, even though this is the hardest game we ever played, it does not make you rage. It makes you laugh it off as something silly. Impressed how fun it is.
